The next morning I woke up to the sun shining brightly into my room as I had forgotten to close the curtains last night. I looked at the clock, it was 9 30 in the morning...
I went to the bathroom to do My business and brush my teeth. Then I went into my closet to change into a pair of black jeans along with a crop top white hoodie.
I went downstairs. A full plate of pancakes awaited me in the microwave. I heated it and covered My pancakes in maple syrup. My mom and dad both were outside planning something with the little garden attached to the house.
So I hungrily devoured my breakfast and went to join them. They were planning to make a little herb garden right near the kitchen.
After some time we heard the honking of the mover's truck. We all went to help the movers bring our stuff in and most of the morning went into setting our things in the new house.
In the afternoon, after the truck had left I reheated a slice of leftover pizza from the night and had that for lunch while reading my favourite Agatha Christie mystery.
After I was done I asked my mom if I could go into the town to explore a little.
"Yeah sure. And do bring back some groceries, please. The list is on the refrigerator and money is on the table" my mom replied absently while arranging books on a bookshelf.
I went out happily and got into my parents' car. A new car for Myself was definitely on my to-get-soon list I thought to myself.
I drove into the town. The road leading to the town was very pretty with a view of mountains in the distance. The forest blended into the mountains marvellously creating a sea of green with blue sky dotted here and there with fluffy white clouds. Just like cotton candy I thought.
The town was quite big once I got into it.
Most of the buildings were like our house. Old but having elegance like the buildings of the Victorian ages.
I located the biggest grocery store in the town. After parking my car I went in.
