let's talk about Magic and Ervass and skills.
What is Ervass?
Ervass, also called conjuration. It is the original stuff, magic is simplified version of it.
What is Magic?
It is utilising the four energies (Astra, netheron, soul energy and mana) to create spells which break
normal laws, or sometimes don't.
The system simplifies Ervass and turns it into magic. It performs
majority of the steps itself, while leaving the rest final few to the
casters. Magic is weaker but easier to use. However it's
possible to deny the system's help and cast the spell yourself (then it's ervass).
Is there anything called spirit magic, used by spirits?
No, there isn't. They use Ervass only. Things related to this stuff
will be revealed later.
Now, fundamental elements. They can be cast with any kind of
energy. Astra and Netheron won't give them additional effects.
They are:
Gravity
Space
Form
Information
Restoration
Soul
Soul element can only be used with
soul energy.
Then comes the non-basic elements.
Fire
Water
Wind
Earth
Plant
Light
Dark
Electricity
Compound casting is possible, but all permutations and
combinations of elements are not possible. Light and dark have
the same ambiguous relationship as between Astra and
Netheron.
People have different affinities for different elements.
From SSS To FFF. That determines their ease and talent of handling the
elements.
Considering Mana, Astra and Netheron as building blocks, one
can create structures with them. These structures which
perform a particular task, are the skills.
Pure arts/techniques of (pure means to fight without using any
elements, only the energy) Mana/ Astra / Netheron / Soul)
Energy all can be converted into skills.
All skills (except the pure techniques) are derivatives of ancient
elements, for example Mana sensing uses Space,
information and Mana.
As long as you understand what is going on and a
realisation of how to use the energy to achieve the desired
effect, you can learn skills left and right and even create skills.
Intense emotions can also give you skills. But just like other
skills, you need to understand its working to unlock its true
potential.
