Level mechanics

Let's talk about level and stuff.

No one has a level cap. Only a false level cap. They can be

removed by special processes. A newborn always has lv0. It's

the default level. As you gain exp, your level increases. When

you reach a new level, you get an slight increase in stats. Since

growing stronger means stats increase, then by common sense

we can say we grow stronger when we level up.

Now exp. It's the core energy contained in the creature's soul.

What's mean by core energy here?

Capital.

When you wanna start a business, you need capital for that?

This exp is the capital. If there's capital, then there should be

some profit right? That profit is the increased power i.e. stat

gains. That is permanent. But if you want, you can sacrifice

some of the capital for a temporary massive power boost.

Exp is not just gained from fighting and killing monsters.

Confused?

Lemme explain.

It's simple, ask a question, you level up when you grow, or

you grow when you level up?

For example, all newborn are lv0

The human baby surely can't fight, can it? But it slowly grows.

Simple actions like eating and such grant exp too (Why it does

will be mentioned later).So, the

baby grows and levels up albeit slowly. But it doesn't train. It

doesn't kill monsters. So it gains less stats.

After that, when it

has grown up to an adequate age, it can start training and killing

monsters and gain more stats or may continue to level up by

the passive means, which is very slow. And also, a child can have high level too if it farms a lot of exp.

A newborn wolf, of course level 0.

It starts hunting at an early age. Survives the forests with

hardships. So gains more stats.

Monsters have to evolve after reaching a certain level. Stars

determine how many times it has evolved.

When they reach

their final stage of evolution, they get an infinite level cap. They

may also gain sentience.

Everyone has unlimited growth potential, but rates of growth

may be different. "High Potential" means one has the

opportunity to increase their strength rapidly.

Exp required is different for different races, but same for all

individuals of the same race.

For humans:

Lv0 50 exp to level up.

Then exp increment/level increases

Lv1 100 exp to level up.

Increases by 100 per level.

Grows from lv10------>Lv11 which takes 1000 exp

Then exp increment/ level increases

Lv11 1500 exp to level up

Increases by 250 exp per level
