With the sweet scent of wet trees, blue sunbird singing from its heart and drinking the nectar from the fresh orange flowers in the morning, young Daisy opened the windows of her room to breathe fresh air and gaze at the clear blue sky. She stood still for a while and started pondering upon the thought of who am I? why am I here in this world? Why do I have to live with this family only, and not others? Do I have a purpose? OK, if I don't have a purpose, I will make myself one with the purpose! But what purpose can I possibly have? Daisy walked away with this thought in mind and found herself standing in front of the mirror to find the truth. Staring at her light brown eyes, she asked herself again what purpose should I have? Daisy said to herself, "Well my purpose for today, is to find who I am!", intrigued by this thought she left for college, wandering through the streets of Romania.
Daisy, as always was late for her University lectures. This time she was not late by 15 or 25 mins but late by an hour! Well, she didn't mind, as her wisdom was more important than just gaining knowledge. All her life during schooling, all she did was mug up the data which was available all over the internet anyway. This made her feel disheartened as it did not teach, the righteous way to live your life. However, this was not the same case with the lecturer who had almost finished teaching the lecture on Fluid Mechanics. Well, our young Daisy as inquisitive as she is, wanted to dive her life into Petroleum Engineering, Nanotechnology or Marine Engineering from one of the most prestigious universities. As life had its lemons, she had to choose between a prestigious university or her way of life. So, she chose the latter ending up with the most basic of all, Mechanical Engineering. The lecturer was not so pleased to see her this late when the lecture was almost about to end. Instead of marking Daisy's attendance, he scolded and made her feel embarrassed in front of her batchmates depicting the quality of the future for a generation like ours, who do not have an appetite for appreciating the taste of hard-won discipline and efforts.
Daisy with her brown wavy hair tied like a bun at the top of her head looked down, clutched her fist while holding her bag and walked in to take a seat. The lecturer looked at Daisy above his spectacles placed on his nose, and said, " Daisy, I think you should not be this late from now onwards, already the future of our education system does not seem so bright with students, especially like you. What do you know, how much we have worked and struggled through life just to live a fraction of a moment that you happen to enjoy every day? Young Daisy could not take it anymore, she closed her eyes, took a deep breath, and thought to herself, maybe my purpose is to revolutionize the education system that is currently having no impact on students' way of living. Whatever the lecturer says is not a new thing either, it's just a fact that can be found in other sources too. She further thought to herself, these days education system is just like a business, just like any other business, be it hospitals, advocating or schooling. People, instead of helping each other across the boundaries trade for money, something that she wasn't proud of. Young Daisy so far seemed to have touched upon the inclination for something she was already looking for that morning, her Purpose! She just couldn't wait for all the day's lectures to get over and return home through the very same streets she came from, surrounded by trees and the humming nature of the sun setting its orange rays in the west.
Young Daisy, lived more in her fantasy world than she ever lived. Provoked with the idea of revolutionizing the education system, Daisy started exploring ways how could she possibly achieve it. Daisy, a fierce lady, always stepped up to expectations whenever she wanted to do out-of-the-box things. Daisy was always bored by the monotony of life and wanted a new WOW factor every day in her life. Daisy explored clubs at her university, where her eye seems fixated upon an upcoming club called Entrepreneurship Development Club (EDC)! Daisy was not a born princess, but she treated herself like one. However, Daisy's Choices were like that of a grown man, wanting to compete and be the best she could and positively influence people's lives around her. She thought to herself, "Even if I die, I want at least 10 people to remember me for the good deeds that I have done and that they will always cherish in my memory, that will be my legacy!"
The next Morning Daisy went up to Training Cell and asked for the details of ED Club which was about to begin in a few days. ED Club was a program that was conducted for one long month, leading to a compromise of her Mechanical degree lectures. Daisy faced a dilemma, should she choose to attend regular lectures or attend something new that she did not know about? Being an outlier herself among 145+ batchmates, she chose the difficult road. Something that she was always fascinated by. With the advent of the ED Club, Daisy learnt a lot of things about starting a new business and how she could use her university degree to leverage in creating the business that she needed to support her family. For a family like Daisy, where she was forced to choose between a prestigious university and her life, it was important for Daisy to earn as much as she could while learning the needful tactics.
During her time at ED Club, she did not start a project, but she learnt a key role in entrepreneurship i.e., Business Networking, without which Businesses you make, cannot thrive and survive with umpteen competition in the market. At this point, having joined ED Club, she realized that she would not be able to see such huge industries if it weren't for taking her admission into a Mechanical Engineering degree. Neither she would have the privilege to see what Men have accomplished while most of the women were seated at home or doing business in flowers or clothing. The technical industry was far from known or familiar to a woman at that time.
A month went by, and her ED Club ended only to start again the next year. Daisy was disappointed to see it end and return herself to the same old, boring, and monotonous lectures that went all day only to burst her head with knowledge. Even if, Daisy was quick-witted and responsive during lectures, most of the time she would find herself sleepy-headed even if she was seated right in front of the lecturer. Daisy was popular among her university classmates not because of her beauty, but due to her intelligence, thoughtfulness, and strong personality. Something that people just couldn't deny.
Daisy mostly was caught out hanging with two of her best friends, Andréa & Maria. Her other two girlfriends of Daisy were not as interested in doing something new, as Daisy was. Hence, she was most of the time alone, trying to create a brand image for herself. Only when it came to marking attendance or submitting last-minute assignments, these two were the first ones to come into Daisy's world. Having said that, Daisy was again restless, she wanted to amass the money to help her family thrive, which wasn't doing that well.

Her father, George worked at an NGO firm in Alba, that did not pay well ending with limited money to make ends meet due to her brother's education as well. However, that was not it, Daisy's family had recently shifted to the new house in a different part of the town away from the previous house. The house was not inherited from George's father, however, a debited one that was borrowed from a bank and others from his brother.
Daisy often faced continuous arguments between George and her mother, Danielle. George always accused Danielle, of ending up in this situation, where money was a priority to make daily ends meet. Danielle, having given birth to two child prodigies, Daisy, and Marcus, spent all her life working for George's colleagues just like a waitress. George was never proud of Danielle and always insulted her Infront of his office colleagues who came home for dinner. Like any other marriage, Danielle was still with George bearing all his bad behaviour, only for her son and daughter. She wanted both her child to be great and not like George who always mistreated people including Danielle!
Danielle belonged to a well-to-do family with her other three siblings that she grew up with. However, George on the contrary belonged to one of the richest families in his town, but he was not that rich himself. George lied to Danielle, to get married anyhow. Danielle after getting married when realized that George had tricked her into marriage and immediately regretted her decision. But it was too late for Danielle to back it out as she had given birth to Sweet Daisy, who walked into their lives as a blessing in disguise bearing an increase in wealth to the family.

Daisy felt losing her faith a lot of times, seeing the atmosphere at home with Danielle and George. Daisy dreamed of changing the world and making her parents proud, one day. She did not know how, but she started searching for it. Daisy was convicted to rise above all the mediocrity to prove her father wrong, had he done anything in his life - they wouldn't be seeing such days. Daisy hated her father and was the best example that Daisy did not want to be like. Daisy believed in herself, more than anything else, she wanted to create her destiny on her own, even if she ran or stumbled, it was all because of her decisions, which she never took for granted. She started painting the canvas of her life with her paintbrush. Wherever Daisy set foot, she brought along with her "The Daisy Effect", that cast a spell on people which was difficult for people to resist. Perhaps, the strokes of her paint could never be erased...
