Princess Chu Hua found herself standing in the thick, dark forest. She was scared that she could be attacked by a wild animal, but she had no choice but to stay there.
Prince Junfeng wanted not to leave without taking the princess along. So, he entered the forest too, leaving his horse by the roadside. He took out his sword and held it in his hand, ready to fight anything that came up against him. Prince Junfeng knew the dangers of walking through a forest, and worst at night. One won't know what is sighting you from afar or near. Moreover, some wild animals see better in the nighttime rather than daytime.
The moon was fully shining now, and its lights helped commander Lucifer to look around carefully. Before commander Lucifer could get to where the two horses were standing, the horses have left, taking a different direction than the road that leads to the kingdom princess Chu Hua was heading to. Commander Lucifer didn't see the horse or anyone on the roadside. He decided to go and check for the princess in the kingdom he directed them to. Commander Lucifer wasn't comfortable because he knew that princess Chu Hua had no idea of where she was going and there was no one to guide her to the kingdom. Likewise, he wasn't sure if she wasn't captured by prince Junfeng.
"Could she probably take the path that leads to the kingdom?" Commander Lucifer asked himself. After thinking for a while, commander Lucifer concluded that the best thing to do is to go check on her. He zoomed off to go check for the princess in the kingdom.
It was already night and princess Chu Hua needed to have some rest. Even when the moon was descending on the earth, its light wasn't enough to make the forest look bright because of the thick trees around. Walking through the paths, princess Chu Hua took in her surroundings. Looking up to the sky, the moon was smiling at her. This is what life has got her into. Princess Chu Hua located a tree and sat on the ground as she rested her back on the tree. Because of the stress and tiredness in her, within minutes, she slept off.
Commander Lucifer just arrived in the kingdom, and he was welcome by the kingdom's commander.
"Nice to see you again in Azanda kingdom, my brother." Commander Yufei greeted commander Lucifer as they shook hands.
"Thank you. It's good to see you again." Commander Lucifer responded and then released commander Yufei's hand.
"Your people are here, and they told us the message you got from the Gapsin kingdom. And they said they were directed to this kingdom by you for their safety." Commander Yufei said.
"Yes, I did." Commander Lucifer responded.
"Great. We had liked to come to join the battle, but His Majesty stopped us for reasons best known to him. I hope everything went well." Commander Yufei said.
"All isn't well. I'm here to check for the princess." Commander Lucifer said with a smirk on his face.
"But the princess isn't here." Commander Yufei replied with a serious tone.
"What!" Commander Lucifer was shocked, and he said, "how is that possible? I didn't see her on the road while coming."
"Was she directed here?" Commander Yufei asked him.
"Yes." Commander Lucifer answered, feeling uncomfortable.
"But the princess doesn't know this kingdom and besides, I don't even know her. Why didn't you send some guards with her?" Commander Yufei asked.
"I did, but the guards got killed by the prince of Gapsin." Commander Lucifer answered with an angry face.
"Prince Junfeng?" Commander Yufei asked as fear gripped him because he knew about Prince Junfeng as a wicked and strong warrior. Even though he hasn't seen him before, he has heard a lot about him.
"Yes. I'm going to check on the princess right away." Commander Lucifer said as he turned around to leave.
Commander Yufei quickly held commander Lucifer's hand and said, "it's too late to go out there. Why can't you leave it until tomorrow? My men and I will join you in the search."
Commander Lucifer took off his hand and said, "I can't relax here while the princess is dying wherever she is. I ought to protect her from any danger."
"But…" before commander Yufei could complete his statement, commander Lucifer had run out of the kingdom on his horse. Commander Yufei stood there speechless as he stared at commander Lucifer's back until he was out of sight.
Lantern lights can be seen everywhere in Azanda's kingdom. The Cyprus people were comfortably staying in the kingdom because the king accepted and kept them in a safe place under guard.
Nuo sat down, looking worried and restless. She was thinking about princess Chu Hua and king Cheng. But she was more concerned about the princess because she hasn't been in a battle before.
"I pray that she's fine. She's the only family I have. I can't live this life without her." Nuo mumbled as tears flowed down her cheeks. It was because of the help princess Chu Hua rendered that Nuo was still alive. Princess Chu Hua helped Nuo when she saw her drowning in a well and no one knew it. Since princess Chu Hua was always walking around the kingdom, she found Nuo who went to fetch water in an open and deep well. Immediately after princess Chu Hua saw her, she called the male servants who came to Nuo's rescue. They took her out and she was almost breathless. This is why Nuo was very close to princess Chu Hua, even though she is her handmaid.
Commander got to where he left Junjie and the other dead men. He found Junjie lying dead in the middle of the road. Commander Lucifer was shocked by what he saw. Some parts of the dead bodies were eaten by wild animals. What surprised him the most was that their eyes were nowhere to be found. They have been eaten out by the animals. Commander Lucifer felt pity for them, even when they were dead. He felt like crying, but it wasn't time to cry yet. His focus was on princess Chu Hua.
"Why would the princess have been? Does it mean that prince Junfeng has taken her away?" Commander Lucifer asked himself rhetorically. After thinking for a while, commander Lucifer dashed into the dark forest.
Different sounds of birds, animals, and insects were coming out from hiding places. Princess Chu Hua was so far asleep that she had forgotten that she was sleeping in the bush. Actually, it wasn't her fault. She was so stressed out to think of such a thing. The cool breeze blew, and she crossed her arms over the chest to catch a little warmth. All those things were happening while her eyes were still tightly closed.
As she sleeps, footsteps begin to approach her. Before she could open her eyes, someone was already standing in front of her.
"Do you think you can run away from me?" A man's voice echoed in her ears. She stood up, and she was shocked to see Prince Junfeng standing in front of her. Princess Chu Hua tried to take out her sword, but before she knew it, prince Junfeng hit her with the handle of his sword, and she fell to the ground.
Princess Chu Hua screamed out in agony. She tried to stand on her feet, but she couldn't because she was badly injured. Blood was flowing down her head.
Prince Junfeng raised his sword to the sky and the moonlight brightened it. It was sparkling like thunder and lightning.
"I was a fool to say I want to marry you. Go to hell with your beauty." Prince Junfeng said as he slowly brought down the sword to her throat.
