The long-awaited morning has finally arrived. Leaving the earth looking so bright and beautiful. Princess Chu Hua managed to squeeze herself and sleep as she laid her back on a tree. That was stressful, by the way, but she had no option but to give in to the condition she found herself in.
Her main problem now was hunger. She has been hungry since the previous day. She needed to find something and eat so that she wouldn't shamelessly die in the forest. Princess Chu Hua either hunts or the wild animals will hunt her.
She woke up, and her body was in pain. Princess Chu Hua wasn't only facing one difficulty at a time. She was surrounded by difficulties like she was in the middle of an ocean. She was hungry, thirsty, and tired.
The sounds of running water caught her attention. Of course, it's a forest that consists of a variety of living and nonliving things.
Princess Chu Hua gestured towards where the sound was coming from. She drags her feet on the ground as she lazily walks through the forest. By the look of things, it shows that she wasn't close to home. She was either in the middle of the forest, or she was on another side of the forest that human beings never go to. Because there was no road she could follow, instead, she created a road by herself. Creating a path wasn't her issue, but the leaves that had been soaked with water from yesterday's rain. Furthermore, the ground was also slippery. She managed to get through until she saw herself standing on a mountain that had a waterfall.
On seeing this, she ran to the water, and as she reached the foot of the waterfall, she fell to her knees.
Princess Chu Hua uses her palms to fetch water and drink. She kept drinking until she was satisfied. At that very moment, what she needed was food.
By the look of the water spring, there was no doubt that it leads to neither a river nor an ocean. The princess gathered all the strength she had and stood up from her knees.
She could feel on her body that something or someone was staring at her from a hiding place. Princess Chu Hua took hold of the haft of her sword.
Was she only afraid, or was there something that was truly watching her?
That's what she can't tell. She looked around as she moved her gaze with haste. Surprisingly, she sighted a tree with fruits. Princess Chu Hua stood confused and stunned. That was the exact path she followed before reaching the waterfall. But she never saw those fruits. Maybe, it was because she was curious to reach the water, that's why she never cares to check on any of the flowering trees.
Her moves toward the tree show that she was afraid. Any step she took, she would make sure that she looked to her left, right, and behind. Just to make sure that nothing was coming to attack her.
As princess Chu Hua reached the foot of the tree, she looked up to contemplate if she should climb or stone the fruits. She ends up deciding to throw stones at the fruits.
Princess Chu Hua freed the sword from her grip as she located some pieces of stones. After searching for stones inside the grassy ground, she found few of them to use.
A sling should have been better for this, but there was none. So, she has to use what she has, not what she doesn't.
Princess Chu Hua gathered the little strength she had and shot at a targeted fruit. Luckily for her, she got her shot correctly. Within minutes, she was able to gather some fruits for herself. She sat under the tree and enjoyed her hard work. The fruits were yellowish. Even though princess Chu Hua never knew the fruits, hunger never allowed her to think twice.
The cold weather was disturbing her soul, but does she have a choice? Not at all. This wasn't her father's kingdom.
If she was at home, she must have worn her warm cardigan. But here, she has to give in to everything that comes up.
As princess Chu Hua feeds herself, a short flower tree in front of her shakes as if something just hid behind it. She stood up on her feet. She was sure that something was hiding there. So, she never hesitates to bring out her sword. She took her steps with determination.
Princess Chu Hua walked around the tree, but she didn't see anything. She swallowed hard with fear. As she was about to put back her sword in its scabbard, a big python came out from nowhere. The python has been hiding inside the grass as it studies her for some time.
Princess Chu Hua held her sword with two hands. The python raised its neck and stared at her for a while. The python was happy that it had gotten a meal for that day.
Princess Chu Hua knew that something like this would most definitely come up.
The python swung inside the grass as it ran towards her. Princess Chu Hua took a deep breath and stood on her ground.
"This is between death and life." She mumbled to herself.
The python flew like a bird to strike her, and she threw her sword against the python, with force. The sword pierced through its neck, which made it land on the ground with the sword. The python rolled on the ground as it struggled to take off the sword, but the more it tried, the more it pierced in. While struggling with the sword, it enables the sword to cut off one side of its neck.
Princess Chu Hua stood speechless as she watched the python's drama. In her entire life, she has never seen a big snake like this. She never had that privilege and now that she had the privilege, it came to attack her.
After the python had finally given up, she gently went closer and took her sword away.
Princess Chu Hua went back to the stream, where she drank water and cleans the sword before putting it back in its position. She was curious to know where the stream leads to. Who knows if it may even lead her home?
Princess Chu Hua walked down the stream until she came to an ocean. She was so scared to approach it, so she stood far away. She wouldn't want to go closer so that she won't mistakenly fall inside it when she can't swim.
This seems like she was in a new world with new things. In her entire life, she has never seen an ocean before, until now.
Her sword began to lighten up. The light keeps on increasing without princess Chu Hua noticing. After a minute, she noticed the brightness that shunned her face. When she noticed that it was the sword, she brought it out and tried to look at it. But it was too bright for her to fix her eyes on. It was like a flash of great lightning.
Fear took over her as she wondered what was happening. Her focus was on the sword, but before she noticed, she was standing at the edge of the ocean.
"How was that possible when she never took a step from where she was standing?"
Princess Chu Hua immediately turned around to run for her life, but the unexpected happened. Something strange hit her so hard that she felt inside the ocean.
