Today is the day. It's probably the best day of Eddie's life, and maybe your own. Eddie refused to do anything but lay in bed all day yesterday. It made you particularly angry, but it felt nice to do absolutely nothing.

"You ready to see Dio?" Eddie came up from behind you, his arms wrapping around your waist. His face nuzzled in your neck. You push your head back, resting it on his shoulder. "Yep," you catch him bite his lip. His hands glide slowly up your shirt. You feel him pull you tight against his body. Eddie's heavy breaths travel down your neck. Just a few more hours, you told yourself. His lips met your neck. Holy fuck. You feel his hands fumble with the bottom of your bra. The best part of it was that you could see it in third person. Looking straight into the bathroom mirror, you made eye contact with Eddie. He continues kissing your neck. You raise your arms above your head, behind Eddie's head. He grabs your chin and pulls it towards his face. He steals a kiss. Two. You turn around slowly. You wrap your legs around his waist. He holds you up.

Next thing you know you're on the bed. Eddie is on top of you. He's kissing you, and his hands are roaming your body. Eddie pulls you closer and- "Please, don't stop," you beg. Eddie pulls his shirt over his head, leans back down. "It is so hard to resist," he mumbles in your ear. Your eyes nearly rolled to the back of your head. You didn't respond. You grab him by his hair and kiss him deeply. You feel his knee slip between your legs and you lost it. You pulled away. "God, Eddie," you desperately begged, "please, just fuck me." His face was excited, then turned cold. "No." he sat up. "What do you mean no?" you wanted to scream. "I don't want to do anything until you are ready." "I am ready, Eddie," he got off the bed. "Not after what Jason did," he clenched his fists, "I don't want to hurt you." You didn't say anything, because deep down you knew it wouldn't change his mind.

"We still have a few hours," Eddie announces, "why don't you take a nap?" It wasn't a bad idea. "Huh?" is all your brain said. "You're so cute when you're half asleep like this," he chuckled, laying down next to you, "go to sleep." Eddie gently kissed your forehead. "Why?" you asked, "I woke up not even a few hours ago." "You hardly slept," Eddie rolled his eyes. "How would you know?" you crossed your arms. "You never move around like you did last night," he chuckles. You crawl under the sheets. "Fine." Eddie gently plants another kiss on your forehead. He stands up and sits in a chair across the room. You have the whole bed to yourself. You didn't want it. "Come lay with me, please," you ask. "Why?" he chuckles softly. "I need you," you whine. Eddie sighs and lays down next to you. You wrapped your legs and arms around him. Eddie doesn't move and began to get tense. You run your fingers on his- still- bare chest. "You okay?" He looks at you and smiles, "of course." "You just seem...tense," you touch the base of his neck. "Not tense, just...overly excited," you sense him smile, "you quite literally made my dreams come true." You grab a ponytail and pull up his hair. Your body was drastically tired, but your eyes wouldn't stay closed. Eddie began humming.

When I noticed I was, I stopped. "No," Ellie mumbled into my chest, "keep going." I didn't even know what I was humming. I sung softly to her. It looked as if she instantly calmed down. I ran my hands through her hair gently. I felt her fall asleep on my chest, her body relaxed and felt heavier. She's so perfect. So perfect. So perfect. I don't want to move. I will live like this forever. God, I love her so much. I can't bear to lose her. I reach for a cup of water. She moved. Shit, I woke her up. Ellie makes a soft groan. She's still asleep, I relax. I grab her hand gently. I stare at the ceiling. I'm going to marry her. I drift to sleep.

Ellie is in my arms. I check the clock. A little under two hours. I brush the hair out of her face. "Ellie," I whisper gently into her ear, "you have to wake up." I kiss her face until she wakes up. I would love to be woken up that way. "Eddie," she mumbles. "You have to get up, sweetheart," I plant one last kiss on her lips. Ellie lets go, sitting up a bit. Her eyes struggled to stay open. I want to kiss her. I smile like a little kid. "Thanks for the idea," Ellie gets up slowly, "I needed the sleep." I gently close my eyes. "I know exactly what I'm going to wear!" she trots into the bathroom. I wait patiently, she mumbles something excitedly before I hear the door open. "Close your eyes," she orders. I cover my eyes with my hands. Ellie walks to the other side of the room before telling me to open them. When I do, I'm beyond shocked. I have to physically pick my jaw up from off the floor. I'm probably drooling. The lacy red fabric covering from the top of her shoulders all the way down to below her knee. Covering just enough, but so little to drive a man crazy. Ellie is gorgeous. All of it.

"So," Ellie is playing with her hands, "is it uh.." "Holy shit," I gasp. She looks up, but doesn't smile yet. "Oh my god, it's gorgeous!" She hides her face. "No, no, come here," I sit up as she walks over to me. I graze my hands at the sides of her waist. Fumble with the lace on her chest where it splits. Fuck. I grab the sheets and lay them on my lap. "Huh-" she looks down, back up with a smirk. "Well," she crawls on top of me. I didn't realize my hands were on her until she touched my chest. I'm breathing heavily, and her knees are on either side of me, making her dress rise on her thighs. Oh my god, I might pass out. I can't take my eyes off of her. Her lips are on my collarbone. I pull her hips lower. She's grinding her hips slowly, and my head shoots back. My grip only tightens on her hips, and I hear her gasp. She uses the opportunity of my head leaning up to kiss my neck. I pull her closer, closer, closer. The lace of her dress rubs on my chest. I can't wait to rip-

"Eddie," she mutters in my ear. "Fuck," I whisper under my breath. Ellie kisses me hard. At this point, I can smell colors.

"Okay," you sit up within Eddie's grip, "you need to get dressed." Eddie groaned, "in a minute." Eddie kisses your chest. "No," you get off of him, "we have to leave in about an hour." Eddie reaches for you dramatically, "nooo!" You find the clothes Eddie picked out previously that were lazily thrown on the dresser. You throw them at him. "Fine," he laughs. You walk into the bathroom and put on a few bracelets. Eddie walks to the doorway of the bathroom putting a belt on. You look at two necklaces. You hold them up in front of Eddie. "Which one looks better?" He examines them for a minute. "You look better with my hands around your throat," Eddie smiles. Oh? Two can play this game. "Then why aren't they there?" Eddie walks behind you, placing his hands on your shoulders. "Because then you're not gonna walk for 3 days," he whispers in your ear while making eye contact with you in the mirror. Holy fuck. "I'm fine with that," you look at him. Eddie kisses you on the top of the head, "the white one," he says before leaving the bathroom. You look to the white necklace in your hand, put it on, and looked in the mirror. Something tells you tonight is going to be boisterous and maybe even frisky.

You are sitting on the patio to pass time, thinking about everything that happened in the past week. You think about Eddie. How he's been rather lively. You could only imagine how excited he must be. Then you remembered you had a whole life at home. You remember Max, Steve, Dustin, Robin...all of the gang. You couldn't help but think about all of the shit they've been through all these years while you were gone. You helped them ward off the demogorgan, listen to Joyce ramble on about her son and her Christmas lights, and when you met Steve and Robin at the Scoops Ahoy. You realized there was one good thing that your mom did. Bringing you away from Hawkins was the best idea her stupid brain ever came up with. But for some reason, you wish you were there. Things would be different. Maybe everyone would be less...traumatized.

The sliding door slid open, "so, in spite of the wonderful day it is. I will make a few exceptions." Eddie smiled, holding something in his hands. "It's 4/20 baby!" He jumps up and down like a child. You smile as he grabs a blunt. "On this special occasion, I permit you to get high as fuck with me." You rolled your eyes. "Such big words," you chuckled as he lit the end. "Yeah, yeah," Eddie passed it to you. You take a hit. "Are you excited?" "Hell yeah," Eddie was pumped. Your heart was feeling awfully warm. Eddie's excitement made you unbelievably happy. His smile spread widely across his face. "Want to shotgun it?" he asks, taking it from you. You nod and he inhales. Eddie gently grabs your face and blows it into your mouth.

You and Eddie later crawl into a taxi. You were high, but not high enough to act like a psychopath. Your head is laying on Eddie's lap, staring at the buildings out the window. Eddie is messing with your hair, but not enough to mess it up. You could admit, you look stunning. For the first time in your life, you were completely confident. You grab one of his hands and interlock it with yours. You close your eyes, and think about what the concert may be like. You could feel Eddie's eyes drifting on your skin. You could imagine the way Eddie's eyes lit up when he sees him. You can almost hear him screaming at the top of his lungs. The excitement was flowing through your body. Not your excitement, Eddie's. Your eyes focus on Eddie. His eyes are filled with desperation, as if he's never kissed you before, has hardly had a chance to make contact, but still so ever in love with you. Showing his affection for you just with his eyes. Suddenly, you're sinking in them. "Ellie," is all he says. He feels it too. Does he know how his eyes could reel a person in? You look at your hand. Eddie's ring, from one of the first days you met, was brilliantly displayed on your finger. Oh, Eddie.

The car seemed to be going nowhere until it finally stopped near a venue. "Thank you, sir," Eddie spoke to the man. You were too busy taking in your surroundings. "California is beautiful," you smiled. "Only where they want it to be," Eddie chucked to himself, standing promptly behind you. "I can dream," you close your eyes. "You most certainly can," you feel hot breath on your neck.

There was a long line outside. Lots of people cutting in line. It made you so angry, and Eddie seemed bothered but tried to hide it. "On that night," Eddie broke the silence between the both of you, "that you and Max fought." You knew what night he was talking about, and didn't want him to finish his sentence. "Yeah?" "You said you had two jobs." You looked down, "I worked the night shift at the mall, but I had to quit." Eddie looked at you, "so you were like a security guard?" "Pretty much," you smiled at your feet. You both scooted up in line. "That's cool," Eddie paused, "why didn't you ever tell me?" "You never asked," you shifted from one foot to another. You watched Eddie roll his eyes. You scooted up again. You had taken into account what Eddie said about 'pretending that your traumatic experiences never happened'. It was most definitely working. You were hardly phased by the memories that flooded back because you were in the process of convincing yourself that it never happened.

You and Eddie had finally made it to the entrance. That didn't mean you made it through the line because there was a longer one inside the entrance, but it was progress. You were standing in front of Eddie facing away from him, almost standing on his toes. His arms are wrapped around your waist and his head resting on your shoulder. Eddie was still and quiet. You wouldn't be shocked if he fell asleep. You traced his rings with your fingers. The line finally started moving again and fast. Eddie shifts ready to move but doesn't let go of you.

"Ticket please," you heard the lady say to the people in front of you. Eddie lets go finally so you can grab the tickets. "Go ahead," she says. The both of you step forward. "Ticket please," she's staring at her desk. You hand it to her. "Go ahead," she hands it back to you. Eddie's eyes widen. He grabs your hand and squeezes it. "We are here!" You walk in and you are in a massive outdoor venue. Eddie is in awe. "Holy shit," Eddie stumbles around a massive crowd of people. The adrenaline rush is beginning and you're getting really excited. You've heard plenty of Dio from Eddie. Now, you can hear Dio from... well Dio!

"This is it," Eddie plops on the ground as he waits. You were not that close, but in front of a wide aisle so no one's head was in the way, for the most part. You were almost in the center, but a little more to the right. It was good enough for the both of you. Eddie pulls you on his lap. "I think this is going to be the best night of our lives," Eddie rests his forehead on yours. You looked around. Most people were sitting. "And how does that make you feel?" you say in a soft, almost monotone way. Eddie pushes your shoulder, "since when were you my therapist?" "Since I've been dating you," you giggle to yourself. "Well you're certainly not getting paid enough," he crosses his arms. "Underpaid and overworked," you shrug smiling. "You need a vacation," he sighed. "I am on a vacation right now!" You laugh to yourself. "A proper one," he stares into nothingness. "What would that look like?" you smiled. "I don't know..." he thought for a minute, "you-and me if you want me there-at a private hotel. On the beach, in the mountains, I don't care, just somewhere private. No snobby kids. No interruptions. Just you. Us. Alone." "Sounds like a expensive paradise," you laugh. "It all will be worth it." Eddie glares back at you. Staring peacefully. Kisses you. Looks away. "What was that for?" you lean forwards to make him unbalanced. "Just felt like it?" he kisses you again, wrapping his arms around you. You put your hands behind his head, playing with his hair. Eddie looks down for a second, thinking you presume, looks up and starts to laugh. "You -ha- know what our...ship name would be?" You look at him, "what?" "Eldie!" Eddie bursts out laughing. "Or Edlie," you add. And with that, you both were laughing until you cried. "That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" you laugh. Eddie catches his breath and returns to staring at you. His hands unconsciously travel to the straps of your dress, playing with them, so desperately wanting to pull it off. "Eddie," you whisper. His eyes focus and hands drop. "Yes ma'am," he blinks a few too many times. You playfully roll your eyes, collapsing into his chest. Eddie leans forward, however, causing you to fall to the ground. He hovers over you. "What was that for?" you smile. "Just wanted to see you like this," he smirks, his dimples on display.
