" My World? "
" Yes! We want to know about your world." Lan excitedly spoke
" There are some people from our world who travel to earth and come back again but only few people are allowed to do so. Though some travel without permission, it is still a taboo here. So we want to know about earth world .... Who knows we might visit someday.." Roger hesitatingly said.
They sounded excited to know and I couldn't help it but to tell them.
" Well... What do you wanna know then? "
" Whatever you can tell us!... Like what type of magic is in your world and all ..." both exclaimed
" There is not much difference between our worlds. The people, their appearance, food are almost the same but except for one thing 'MAGIC'."
" [astonishment] Whattttt?? Your world doesn't have magic !?! " Roger cried.
" yes that's Insane!! " Lan exclaimed .
" Even though my world lacks in magic it has something that can be referred as magic. "
" And what is it? " both asked in a doubting manner.
" We call it Technology ."
" What exactly is that ?" Roger asked curiously
" It is a power made by humans to connect each other, protect ourself as well as make our life easy; just like magic! "
" We also have some gadgets that can connect people, even talk face to face. "
Roger's words were like a child showing off about his world. But hearing his words reminded me of my loved ones.
" [Sad] I wonder what my Mom, Dad must be doing now... They must be flustered and worried..... [Sigh].... "
" Hey..... Don't worry ... " Lan worriedly approached my hand.
Looking at them I asked with a hope of positive answer ,
" Will I be able to go back? "
" I don't know about that as there are still something unsorted.... But about your parents .... You don't have to be worried. The moment you step into our world, people from your world will eventually forget everything about you as if you never existed. " Roger answered calmly. And now it was more disturbing then before . The fact they forget about me as if never existed led a shiver down my spine.
" Roger now your scaring me. "
" Ha ha! [Mischievous smile] Eat up! You need to rest now. " saying he bumped his fist on my head. It made me worry a bit less and concentrate on my eating. Finishing dinner we went to rest in our respective rooms.
After a while of struggling, I managed to sleep when a strange dream appeared.-
I was sitting on the highest tower at the time of sunset. The rays turning orange from yellow and then red, met the land as I rolled my eyes down, where the greenery of land hidden in the red crystal surface appeared. My emotions had a sadness, yet a calm and cheerful smile on my face. The sound of footsteps approaching me alerted me and with that someone spoke,
" Hey, sorry I got late. What was so important that you wanted to speak today itself? "
A man approached me and sat beside me. His presence made me more cheerful then before which made me grin.
" Yuppp... Its something important."
His face was blurred but his worried expressions with a smile were still notable.
" Yes, Go ahead. I am here for you," he said.
" Remember the prophecy... [Nodded].... I think it might come true.. As war is about to begin...sacred stone being stolen and all,..... So I want to I want to trade....you know I can control spirit power as well as fire power.... I want to .... " I spoke. Some words I was unable to hear or might have sunk in dream.
" What?? How can you believe such thing.... I can do that .... Even if we do.... You cannot believe such prophecy... I will protect you till the end....even if.... I..die." with a raging angry he hugged me and the sudden moment got me back from my dream.
(" Huh?(huffing)… What a weird dream!..Trade?...Spirit power? I m sure these are not my memories…. Am I in someone else's body? …No! I am sure it is my body… Huh?.... I am thirsty. ")
Thinking about it I got up and went to the kitchen. The weird dream was related to prophecy, so I wanted to talk about it to Roger and Lan but still it was night time. Grabbing myself a glass of water, I sat on the dinner table chair near the window. It felt the world outside the window was still going on in this night. The sky was filled with innumerous stars, a big full moon and a small planet on some distance from the moon. It rather glowed like a moon itself. Sitting in the beautiful moon light, beside the window
and forgetting about the world was like a heaven. But suddenly I was grabbed by the shoulder from behind making me reflexively look back. I was about to scream when Roger put a hand on my mouth.
" [ Relief ] Its you ! [releasing] I got scared! Have you lost your mind! "
" Hahah! Sorry I didn't mean to scare you! "
" Next time don't do it or I will break your neck! Anyways I wanted to talk to you."
" You had a nightmare? "
" Not a nightmare but a strange dream. "
Roger grabbed a glass of water and sat beside me. I told him my dream and he listened it with a blank and confused expressions.
" The spirit power and fire power together? What exactly is this about? "
" [exhausted] I don't know. Perhaps it is Queen ?"
"[attentive ] Exactly! The queen is related to spirit, so the other person might be related to fire?"
" Then it can be King or someone from Ignis city? "
" ya...It can be king... They were great friends....We have to talk to him."
" He is a king ...Roger.... Can we really meet him ?"
" yes...why not...we are old companions....though he may not be happy to see me ..... He will be delighted to see you."
