"Death is not fearful, it is just a way to a new universe which is a wonderful creation, which we experience in a different body." My mom and dad used to say it all the time.
The sudden blackout reminded me of this statement again and again in my head as loud as it can. I am sitting here in this immense darkness waiting for someone to pull me out of here where I am having a silent war with myself.
A humble voice echoed in my ear.
("someone is calling me …..?")
"Ariya!!"
And a ray of light showered my head and body. I flied up towards the light.
("It's time to go back!")
[Breath]
"Huh!!...(cough)….(cough)…"
"Ariya! Are you okay!?"
"Breath Ariya…. Water… bring a glass of water!" Roger ordered the servants.
It was relaxing to hear their voices. It was warm. Slowly opening my eyes and adjusting my view in light, I could see around me now. I was relieved to see them and it was assuring enough to have a concerned look in their eyes. Getting up, I sat in bed. The maid handed me a glass of water. I took a sip and relaxed.
"How are you feeling now?" Lan asked.
"I am feeling good now..but what exactly happened? Was there some attack or something?"
"No… It was a FIRE DRAGON...."
("A Fire Dragon??")
King Leo continued, "We found it some days ago… well it is a bit unstable at the moment so this accidents happen often… Umm… Lady Ariya… by any chance…. Do you have any tattoo of a bird just like your pendent?"
Lan and Roger were stunned towards his question.
("How did he knew..?")
"Umm…yes. I do have the same tattoo on my back." I replied.
"Leo what happened? How did you knew about the tattoo?" Lan asked.
King Leo had a very serious look on his face. He summoned his servant and asked for the arrangement of lunch. We had completely forgot about the time due to the whole confusion..and of course..dragon!
After instructing, king Leo just said on thing, "We will talk after lunch."
Lan and Roger relaxed after the king exited the room.
"(sigh) Seriously Kid, you just got me there."
"Is your head fine?.. your head got hit with the bricks and you lost your consciousness."
("Hope you are fine.")
"Lan, Roger, I am fine. What about you? Are you hurt anywhere?"
"We are fine Kid.. well lets have some food coz I am very hungry..(whisper) and food here is really AMAZING!
"(chuckle) ..Oh really now? "
"I will go ahead and join you directly in the dinning room." said Lan and went out of the room
That's when I noticed the luxurious room I was in.
Everything was extravagant filled with glory everywhere and decorated in its uniqueness.
The golden Vintage decor studded with precious gems all over in minute details. The bedroom was big enough to play soccer. Well not that big but …. Hell yeah..well lets go back to reality…
"Roger, I know Dragon but King Leo said Fire Dragon, Why?"
"You really are a curious one (smirk)(knock on head) Dragon have a significant role in each elemental family. They were given a very important roles by the deity in order to punish the evil people. There is a very famous story about Fire Dragon:
Long ago, people found a valley where the trees were abundant with fruits, and the forest full of precious gems. Rejoicing in their fortune, they thoughtlessly destroyed the trees and killed the animals. Until one day, one of the mountains overlooking the valley exploding in a deadly rain of ash and fire. That was the FIRE DRAGON, punishing those who did not appreciate what they were given."
"But why is it captured here and has been chained down?"
"I have no idea," he replied.
As Roger was busy reading some book from the nearby self, I got up to walk myself to the window. I stood there for a while looking outside the window. The kingdom was flourished till far with great mountainous range, the hustle and bustle of the city unaware of this Dragon chained in the hopelessness from human beings. It's painful eyes pierced my heart like thorns deeply. The Red coated skin and ruby eyes were its glory.
The moment my eyes met with its ruby eyes I sensed the fear it felt. Suddenly I had an urge to run towards it.
I just turned back and ran out of the room.
"hey what happened?" Roger screamed.
I ran from corridors, to the great hall and towards the training ground near the fire dragon.
Tied to the Big chains engraved with magic spell; Fire dragon waiting for someone to rescue; knights trying to gain its control forcefully;
"Huff! Huff! Huff!(panting) … Stop! Stop it!!" I shouted
All the knight and magicians glanced towards me as if I was an intruder.
"The Dragon … is in pain….Please release it!..."
The atmosphere was a bit tensed.
An arrogant knight approached me and angered, "It doesn't concern you! We are doing our work! An intruder like YOU doesn't have anything to do with you!"
[Dragon Growled]
"Who says its none of lady's concern?" a female voice came from a distance from my behind.
A lady in a white silk dress was walking towards me from the distance. She had brown wavy hair and emerald eyes and a very beautiful face like a shining moon.
("What a beautiful lady…..boom!!... She is really gorgeous….Hehe"
The pretty lady approached me and smiled gorgeously. Then looking at the fire dragon she went towards it with a concerned look. Then smiling slightly she lift her arm and put it on the shackles around the dragon's neck. She spelled some magic spell and all the metal shackle disappeared into thin air. Hence, the fire dragon consoled itself with her.
"Finally you are FREE…" She gladly smiled.
The arrogant knights were taken aback by this moment. The one knight who approached me was very furious from the lady's action.
Until this we can pretend that everything is normal.. I mean they are human emotion… but I was more astound for,
"Thank you! My Earth Fairy…."
The fire dragon spoke in a muscular voice.
