"Thank you! My Earth Fairy…."
The fire dragon spoke in a muscular voice.
(" A TALKING DRAGON!!!!!")
Everyone was stunned from its speech.
("I guess dragon is rare in this world too. Well in my world it is TOO TOO RARE… yet ..first the Griffin and now this fire dragon… what exactly is going around? (confused).. Life is fulllll of surprises dear….now lets face some reality….")
"Don't Worry.. the king might be helpful for your situation, so why don't you have a conversation with him?" asked the lady.
The dragon frowned and replied, "The king himself ordered them to control me. He never resorted to have a conversation with me!"
The dragon sighed and melted down on the ground like a pet waiting for its master to pet. Petting its head, lady tuned back and smiled at me with gentle eyes.
"Hi! I am Fiona Black, An earth fairy and you…must be the guest here?"
Before I could introduced myself I heard someone running towards me, panting and it was Roger.
"Oh! Roger!...Why are you Running?" I asked.
"YOU!...huff!...you came here…without saying anything…("This idiot girl just ran out of nowhere and now she is asking me why???")… Huff!"
("ugh, this old geezer!!(annoyed)")
"Anyway, we are going to have lunch so lets go..!" Roger dragged me out grabbing my hand. Looking back I hinted Fiona to meet her later and she greeted me with a great smile.
("oh my! That just..gave me A HEART ATTACK!! She is sooooooo CUTEEEEE!!!! ….my heart might just explode….")
Dragging me inside the castle, we walked towards the dining hall. The opulence of king can be noted even in the minute things here. ("The dining hall is also a splendid one…. filled with intricate designs… the design on the ceiling.. perhaps story in it…I guess? ")
There was a lavish chandelier and crystal decor consisting of light but there were no candles..
" Hey Roger, How are they light up."
"They are light up with the help of power stones known as Ojas."
"Ojas? …. They are just like Led's…but certainly light up a large area in comparison."
"They are mined from the Ash Core mountain from about 200 km below ground level…"
The extravagant dining table lied in the centre of the room which was finally arranged. Glasses, plates, spoons were arranged accurately. The table was big enough for at-least 26 people to dine together. I grabbed a chair from the corner set and sat down while roger sat next to me. King Leo and Lan were still missing. The plates were finely decorated which reflected a glowing phoenix bird in it with help of ojas stone lamps situated on the table. They were a splendid combination. It was so mesmerising that I lost in my thoughts. Suddenly clearing his throat Roger broke the silence,
"You didn't answered me why you ran out like that suddenly?"
"Umm.. The chains on the dragon made my heart ache and I don't like animals to be chained and all… "I replied
"AA…."
Before he could speak something king Leo and Lan entered the room and walked towards the table.
"we will talk later." Whispered Roger.
Leo sat across me while king Leo sat to the host set which was indeed beside me. All the servants forming a line walked in the room. Each one held a dish in their hands. All the dishes were displayed on the table. ("Damn crazy is everything… so much food for only people?? Are they crazy?….)
The soup was served with toasted bread. And the most important….SPOONS…("UGHHHH…MANNERS…..MANNERS ….manners...someone might die from this manners one day…..")
Roger noticed my confusion and hinted me to take the inner most spoon for the soup.
Except for me and Roger, who was busy helping me, king Leo and Lan, both were already eating minding there DAMN MANNERS….uuuhhh.. it almost gave me Goosebumps. I mean manners are fine but … just sometimes… it can me harmful for ourselves.. right? Who knows…
"Roger, why are they sad? Minding manners I get it but what is with this sad atmosphere.." I whispered to Roger.
"(chuckle) Miss, these people are very boring then you think… so if you want to get out eat FAST."
The awkward silence and boring atmosphere were ultimately ruining the mood. The deliciously looking food was going to lose its taste if this went on. It reminds me of my family where we used to have a happy dinner, telling each other stories from the day in a joyful atmosphere.
(" I miss my mother's food…!(slaking)")
My heart felt empty like there was a sinkhole unable to be filled.
I sipped the soup one by one, as fast as I can so as I can get out early.
("well the soup is delicious…hmmm..")
The second dish served was a steak…and…. I just lost my appetite. I put down my fork , cleaned my mouth, "I am not a fan of meat yet I prefer veg….so I am full as I lost my appetite over this..so thank you for the meal..Excuse me."
I got up looking at their stunned faces [I was satisfied…hehehe]
("This kid (chuckles) is really straightforward…and of course FUNNY(chuckles)") Roger commented in his mind.
And before someone could speak I already left the room. I had a big satisfied face as if I had completed a spy mission…well ya…[laugh]
I randomly walked through various passages until I reached the garden.
("WOWWW!! HOLLY MOTHER!! What a marvellous garden it is!!")
The Garden was very big which consisted of numerous plants with various beautiful magical flowers and it smelled AMAZING!!! Walking some distance, there was someone sitting near a tree on a stone, admiring the flowers. A pretty lady?...the one who help the dragon….Fiona!
"Fiona! Hi!" shouting around I ran towards her.
Fiona looked at me and smiled.
("I am melting..")
She gently answered me, "Hello lady." ("Damn cute!!")
"We had an incomplete conversation left from before and I am a bit lonely. You know stuck in some IDIOT men. So.. I guess I could use a friend's help?"
"Of course! But before that may I know your name?"
"Oh hh I forgot. My name is Ariya."
Fiona had a confused look on her face yet she just smiled out an assured me to be her friend.
"So, why are you sitting here.. are you admiring the flower? They are pretty.. you said you were a earth fairy, what does it mean Fiona?" I asked curiously.
"I am observing the condition of these plants. Due to some reasons there has been drought in this city resulting in the dryness and wilting , even some plants dying."
Fiona's concern about the plants was all over her face. But she continued,
"But the good news is that they are improving immensely from yesterday. A sudden change in their health made me curious. Hence, I was trying to find the cause."
"I am happy to here that(I smiled)"
"And as I am an Earth Fairy they are very important for me."
"SO, does earth fairy mean you are doctor of plants?... like that?.."
"you can say that, but its not a job of doctor but they are like friends so I am taking care of them."
We sat there, beside each other under the tree in a soothing atmosphere. The breeze of wind the smell of plants and the chirping of birds were relaxing. The view was amazing. I would have never experienced like this in my world. Fiona introduced me to many of her favourite flowers and explained me about its uses too. The time I spent with her was precious…just like my friend SAYRA.("I wish I could have shown her this.")
After a long stroll in the garden we went back into the castle where Fiona left me as she had some work to carry on further. And I have to go back to them… yup…crazy male characters…
While looking for Roger and Lan I loitered into various rooms and passages. Everything was just like a big Maze. Looking here and there for the appropriate direction I came to a very important conclusion…..that….
