[Warning: you are down to 15 St!]
This was the same message that the trio of a rat, a paladin, and an alchemist heard all at once. All of them had begun spouting obscenities in their minds at this moment.

The rat kept running in desperation, however, its pursuers weren't letting up. Somehow, they managed to match its speed, but never exceed it. This was truly a miracle and curse for the rat. While it wouldn't be caught by them, it could never outrun them. Eventually its stamina would run out. Like in 3 seconds from now.

Sheila had kept running after the rat, however, she wasn't able to exceed this thing's speed. In addition, the boy had also kept after her not letting up. Only bad things were to come from this point. She was not able to catch the thing, and when the boy caught up she would need to deal with him. While their speeds were matched, eventually her stamina would run out. Like in 3 seconds from now.

Henry had kept running after the armored woman, however, he wasn't able to catch up to her. At this point, it also would've been weirder if Henry hadn't noticed the rat she was chasing after. The rat had been about the size of a small dog, it must've also been pretty sneaky to avoid notice like it'd been doing. Wait. Henry put two and two together and reached the answer which was as clear as four. Now Henry had extra motivation to get beyond the woman, but he was matched in the speed department by the woman and rat. Not only that, but Henry's stamina would eventually run out. Line in 3 seconds from now.

Suddenly, all three of them, after 3 seconds had passed, heard the same message:
[You have run out of St!]
Then all three of them felt unbearable exhaustion. Their bodies, no longer able to keep up with their amazing speeds, flew down an alley, flew through a wall, flew through the tunnel behind the wall, and fell into the stone ground the tunnel led to. In the order of the rat, Sheila, and Henry, they heard these messages, albeit with a few differences here and there. The reason behind the differences? Skills.
[You have suffered major blunt damage -48 Hp]
[You have suffered blunt damage - 15 Hp]
Then all of them fell unconscious due to the lack of stamina.

Sheila woke up with a jump. The last thing she remembered was chasing after a rat and flying through a brick wall. It hurt like a bitch, but she was tough. She looked around and noticed she was in a pile with the rat and the boy. She quickly got the boy off her, and got off the rat. The rat looked relieved in its sleep to have the weight off it. The armor adds weight okay!
Sheila looked around and saw they were in some sort of sewer. It was dark and stank of waste, like all sewers did. She looked up and saw the hole they came from; she tried jumping but to no avail. Looks like they had to wait. Sheila sat down on the ground, next to the rat and boy. She decided she would watch over the place, and ensure their safety. Sheila had still wanted to bring the rat to a humanoid rat so they could communicate.
After about a half hour of waiting, the other two seemed to be waking at the same time.

The rat stirred, it finally recovered enough strength to wake. It had hoped the humans had stopped following it. It got up and looked around. Shit. Armored human was watching over it and steak human was waking up next to it. The rat immediately prepared itself for battle. It started growling, and for some reason squeaked at the humans.
"Damn humans following me; why couldn't you have just fucked off and minded your own business!?" It squeaked.
Then to its surprise it heard a few squeaks coming from its left, "Wow, this thing's got quite the mouth on it. Why couldn't you have just tired out before us?"
The rat looked over to its left and saw the steak human. It had just spoken rat. The ordinary human, just spoke rat. What the fuck was going on!?
*****
Henry began to wake up. He had gotten his strength back and made a full recovery. He opened his eyes and looked around. He was in a sewer being watched over by the woman in armor. To his right was the rat. It had also begun looking around, and once it grasped the situation, prepared for battle.
The rat squeaked out angrily, "Damn humans following me; why couldn't you have just fucked off and minded your own business!?"
Henry was surprised at the language of this thing, and he couldn't help but comment on it sarcastically, "Wow, this thing's got quite the mouth on it. Why couldn't you have just tired out before us?"
At this point Henry realized he not only understood the rat, but could squeak in a way that was meaningful to rats. What the fuck was going on!?

Sheila was observing the duo as they stirred, and eventually woke up. They both began looking around at their surroundings. The rat saw the boy first and then her, and proceeded to prepare for a fight. It looked like she was either going to have to knock it out, or kill it. Either way was not ideal.
Suddenly the rat began squeaking and growling at her. This had no meaning to her, and she just looked at the rat quizzically.
Then from nowhere the boy began to let out a few, somehow sarcastic sounding squeaks. She then looked at the boy quizzically. Had he hit his head?
Her focus shifted back to the rat that was staring at the boy, somehow looking surprised. She then saw the boy, who was surprised at himself. Wait, did this mean those squeaks were actually meaningful!? What the fuck was going on!?
*****
The rat then squeaked, "Y-You can speak rat!?"
"I guess!?" The boy squeaked in response, shocked.
