The silence reined the surroundings as Mr. Klein played mute.
"Please, you can't keep running away forever." I said with an annoyed expression.
"You wanna learn magic, right?" Mr. Klein threw a curve ball with a smirk.
I nodded heavily, throwing the goddess away to the side!
"Tonight's gonna be your first magic class. See well and etch it to your heart." He said as he stood up and walked back, away from our temporary settlement.
I followed him, he looked cooler now due to some reason. Even if it was a mountainous and rocky region, there was still a small pine forest nearby, however, we avoided that area since it was a lawless region for beasts.
He jerked his hand with a loose sleeve once and a dagger came to his hand. "There are many ways to gain strength in this world." A large bear with shining red eyes and jaws dripping with saliva came into our view. "Magic, Ki, aura, bloodline, ability, quirk, ancient and beast weapons, the strength isn't limited to mana alone." Klein ran forward and leaped towards the giant bear and went forward to strike at its nape.
"A hero is a creature, no to be more exact, a monster who breaks the laws of this world and transcends to reach a strength greater than anyone else without exception."
He reached out with daggers towards the bear's arms extended towards him and sliced his way all the way to his eyes. A loud roar was about to escape the bear's mouth, however, Mr. Klein stuck its vocal cord right on time and shuffled another dagger out of his sleeves, and stuck its right eye.
"And don't forget I am one of those monsters too."
His hands had a weird glow and his nails extended as he stuck his hands inside the bear's body through its nape. "Rest in peace." The bear's inside lit up with weird fire and sounds of explosions rang in our ears. Klein had the final deed after ripping off the head of the bear splattering blood all over himself and me. It ended in silence as Mr. Klein scavenged the body to take out a weird crystal and threw it toward me.
The crystal fell near my legs as Mr. Klein slowly turned his blood-drenched face while speaking in a grim tone. "This might seem cruel and unnecessary to yo-"
He abruptly stopped as he saw my face or to be more exact my expression. His eyes with blood dripping from his eyelashes narrowed down towards me.
"What kind of life did you lead in your previous world to stay so calm even after seeing so much blood?" My pupils dilated and a lifeless smile formed on my face as I scanned the crystal covered in blood.
"Who knows, maybe, I was a doctor as they called me."

"Ahh! My legs felt like they would break after walking for so long." The cool lady Freesia said after taking a breather as the ocean came into our view.
We rested and admired the scene around us for a while. Both Mr. Klein and I had a silent agreement to not discuss and forget about what happened last night.
I took up my daily herb-boiled water from the cool lady and observed the capital.
The whole hill was covered with thick forest blocking every light in the forest making it totally resemble a black forest.
"I am excited to explore this world!" I did not hide my intentions and feelings leaving all of them except Mr. Klein confused.
They don't know either mine or Mr. Klein's secret of being quite… otherworldly.
"Lucius, better hold your curiosity until I 'sell' you. Vampie, can you build a ship."
Mr. Klein hit the hooded man in the back so loudly that I even heard some cracking sound. However, Vampie, or so Mr. Klein called him, just clicked his tongue and said in an irritated tone.
"Fucker do I look like someone with hydraulic and ship-building knowledge?"
"Then build an airship." I turned my head away from the senseless argument and asked, "Where is the ship you all came from? Did some damage come to it?"
Hearing this the two girls started fidgeting while Klein gave me emotionless blank stares.
I turned towards my only source of the answer. The black hooded man lifted his hood a little and now I could see his face for the first time.
His face seemed to have been sucked out of the blood and his short lush black hairs had hints of blood-red strands going among them. He has his hands in his pockets and was standing up in a cool pose as his brown eyes suddenly had red color fill them and he turned towards the line as he…
However, his twist was twisted in such a grimace that killed all his charm.
"Finally you asked what this fucker did? I have been thinking all the time about how to express this feeling and the urge to kill him?"
"How does it feel when you wake up early in the morning expected to get a coffee readied by your maid beside your bed, only to find a fucker who came from the window and stole my coffee while ordering me without any authority to be ready for the next expedition because of a favor I never gave him."
"Then an hour later he freaking dragged me into a plebeian ship, a high-ranking vampire noble like me in a plebeian ship! I can't even imagine that and yet it happened to me. Oh no, then my only saving grace was that the fucker was a hero and besides that, I was in a hero's party. That was the only thing saving me from this disgrace."
"Do you know what then happened? It was a ship for transporting fish and that smelly ship. Yuck. Then, you know what, we got caught in a sea storm and I rushed to inform the hero who said sleeping, this is the goddess' way and will. Then, the next day we woke up I don't know what happened to the fishermen but we were on the shores of the world's most dangerous and cursed place where we need to search for treasures and we found none except for a few beasts crystals and a kid. And you know the icing on top, it took 2 years for us to complete our journey and still a way of 6 months is left."
The man was huffing loudly with bloodshot eyes. I think we better leave him alone for a while to cope with the trauma. However, his next line too gave me a feeling of surprise.
"And now we are finding a ship to go to the island of tyrants where nobody is said to come back alive from!"
