"Fuck!", Duke spat out on hearing news.
"What's wrong", Kendy asked, pretending to worry.
Duke looked at her with anger in his eyes as she was cleaning the sitting room. He walked towards her and grabbed her by her neck, Ignoring her wobbled stomach and pushed her until her back hit one of the dinning stool and she let out a growl.
"You don't ask me such silly questions!", he raged at her.
"Please stop!", Kendy pleaded with him but he had no intentions to stop.
"Let me make something clear to you", he started, his hand still tightened on her neck, "Don't pretend to me like you care. I know all your wishes is that I shouldn't get whatever I want. But bet it, I'll make sure all those stepping on my foots pay for their sins".
"You're the one who's going to pay for your sins", Kendy spat out, making Duke shocked.
He grew wilder and hold unto her till she starts struggling with her breathe.
"I knew it", he bellowed, "I knew you were pretending all along and you're going to pay for it".
He then let go of her, she lost balance and fell to the ground.
Kendy already had tears streaming down her eyes.
"Kill me!", she exclaimed as he grabbed a cup and filled it with water.
He drank the content and turned back to her.
"Sure, I will. Not after, I have made good use of you", he said and smirked devilishly before striding out to his room.
Kendy just kept crying, holding unto her unborn child.
Thank goodness her baby was saved again.
She looked up as he opened the door to his room and went in.
"What have I gotten myself involved in," she thought.
She remembered the day she'd choose to stay with Duke in order to protect her family.
She was on her way home from the clinic when a car blocked her from getting through.
She became mad and was about to nag at the driver when Duke stepped out.
Kendy stared at him, puzzled. She wasn't expecting to ever meet or see him again.
"Nice to meet you again," he greeted but Kendy pretended not to have heard him and tried moving away but he blocked her way by shoving his phone to her face.
"Who do you think they are?", Duke asked watching her expressions.
Immediately, she let out a gasped.
She saw her husband and son was being video on their outing.
"No, no, you can't do that!", she bellowed trying to grab the phone from him but he was quick to move away.
"What do you think? My boy's are always ready", he teased.
"What do you want again Duke? I thought we ended this long time ago", she muttered, alarmed that something might go wrong.
"I'm so sorry babe but I don't have a long ago. Everything that happened to me are all my present".
"Tell me what you need from me?!", she snapped.
"Go home with me", he let out.
"You must be joking!", she exclaimed.
"Yes I am, until my boy's do some good job at exploding both your kid and husband's head", he warned aggressively.
"You're a bastard Duke", she uttered, developing more hatred for him.
"Sure, I am. Have you forgotten? No one mess with me".
She looked up at him, disgusting and wished she hadn't met him in her life.
Duke was once her high school lover until she met Riley.
Though she didn't intend to leave him to Riley but Duke wasn't a patient type. He complains at the least thing.
She had to leave him to someone who cares a lot about her and since then, Duke has been on her neck, threatening her.
"Fine, I'll go with you not until you promise not to harm them", she pleaded, holding unto her tears.
"You can stop now", Duke ordered his boy's who were videoing her son and husband. "As you can see, I won't torment them".
With that, they put her inside a car and drove far away from her home where she landed in a place he called cave.

"Good day, Mr. President", Sideon saluted and took his seat in front of the president.
"How's DEF?", Mr. Travis asked, anxiously.
"We are trying all our possible best to keep it safe, sir", Sideon answered.
"So, what's the call for this appointment?", Mr Travis asked again.
"We're about to be robbed", Sideon relayed.
"What do you mean?".
Sideon sat up properly and began to update the president on what has happened few hours ago.
"I knew this was coming", Mr Travis muttered.
"We need to take action as soon as possible", Sideon said.
"Are you really sure they got nothing?", Mr. Travis asked.
"I don't know yet but Ben confirmed they got nothing", Sideon answered.
"Since they can't find anything from the systems, I'm sure they'll come up with another plan soon".
"Yes, I thought so too".
"Are you sure those files are well saved, especially with Riley? They might find out and go after him", Mr. Travis disclosed.
"I'm afraid I can't trust anyone else with the files apart from him, president".
"Alright, look into this carefully, don't rush things to avoid war", Mr. Travis warned.
"I'll be more careful sir".
"Good".

Angie carefully ran up the stairs, leading to the rooftop where she prayed she would meet Maths.
She opened the door widely only to see Maths and his friends having a discussion.
No one noticed her presence since they were so engrossed to what was being discussed and of course it was about the game.
"I don't feel defeated", Maths bellowed, softly.
He was busy watching the road.
"Me too", both Shed and Davis chorused.
They looked at each other and gave a slight laugh.
"Tell me, why you don't feel defeated", Davis asked Shed.
"I don't know, I just don't feel defeated", Shed answered sheepishly.
"Well, as for me, I feel I wasn't defeated because Maths wasn't there at the finals", Davis said and looked towards Maths, waiting for a reaction or respond.
Surely, Maths was surprised to hear that coming from him.
"You mean, you couldn't win the match because of me?", Maths asked astonished.
"Isn't it obvious?", Davis replied back with a question.
Maths turned around and that was when he caught Angie listening to their conversation.
He just stood still and couldn't utter any word as he had wanted to.
Shed who noticed his expression, asked "Are you okay?".
Maths then moved his eyes away from Angie down to Shed and Davis.
"It wasn't my fault to have left the game, I hope you guys can understand", Maths relayed feeling guilty.
"We know and of course we'd do the same since we're talking about grandmother and no one else", Shed said.
"Yeah", Davis agreed.
"How's grandmother?", Shed asked.
"She's getting better", Maths answered his gaze back at Angie.
"Glad to hear", Shed said and turned to see what Maths has been gazing so much at.
"Wow! Sister-in-law is here", Shed announced.
Angie became shocked with the way Shed addressed her in front of Maths but kept her cool as a bad ass girl.
She walked stylishly to them and greeted, "Hey guys!".
"Hey!", both Shed and Davis answered.
"Sorry for the distraction", she pleaded, "You can go on".
"You love distracting us at the wrong time", Davis accused her.
"Why can't she? Don't talk to sister-in-law that way", Shed warned.
"No argument guys, I'll take my leave since you seems busy", Angie said and turned to leave but Shed blocked her way.
"We're the one's leaving, I mean Davis and I will leave you two alone", Shed said happily.
"Alright thanks", she appreciated.
Shed moved to Davis, dragged him by his hand pushed him out of the rooftop.
"I'm sorry for interrupting", Angie pleaded to Maths.
As usual, he made no statement and turned back to watching the busy road.
Angie joined him on the pavement, thinking of how she can ask him about the game.
"Uhm", she started, feeling nervous, "I came looking for you at home after you left Weston but you weren't home, can I ask why you left the match?".
For some seconds he didn't say anything, then he responded saying, "I left for Orleans".
Angie who was now filled with joy asked, "I heard them talking about your grandmother, is she the one you went to meet at Orleans?".
"Yes, she's sick", he relayed and turned to give her a stare.
They both stared at each other until Angie gave him a smile.
"You know, back then in California, I love visiting my grandparents. Many people call me strange since most grandparents are too clumsy. But, I love them both even until they paid the grave a visit".
Maths stole her a glare but she continued.
"They were lovely and exceptional. They were the best couple I would always worship", she paused and looked at him, "You love her so much right?".
He nodded.
"How's she?", she asked, wishing for a respond.
"I hope she gets better soon", he muttered, sadly and heaved a sign of stress.
Angie then began to think on how to cheer up his mind, he seems lost.
"Can we have a proper dinner tonight?", she proposed, taking Maths by surprise.
He looked at her and thought, "Not again".
"A what?", he asked pretending not to her her.
"Last dinner was messed up so I wish we could have a proper dinner tonight", she proposed again.
He remembered how she has wept the other night when they were supposed to have dinner.
He'd got angry with her entering his studio without his concept.
He should apologize using the dinner since he was too proud to apologize properly, he thought.
"I advise you come quick, I eat dinner early", he said.
Angie was so excited hearing him agreed to her proposal that she couldn't hid her smile.
"I won't be going to SAH mansion, I would love to have dinner at Hotel Le Bleu", she announced.
"I don't dine out", he relayed.
"I know you don't, but please, will you?", she pleaded displaying her puppy expression.
"I can't".
"Oops! Too hard to crack", she burst out.
"Too hard to crack?", he asked, unknowingly.
Angie gave a slight laugh and asked, "Don't you think I'm relating to someone?".
He didn't say anything and looked away.
Just then, the bell rang for break over.
"I will pick you up later. You don't have to worry, it'll be my treat", Angie said and walked away to avoid any other comment.
"Too hard to crack", the word kept ringing inside of him as he watched the road.
