"Can we meet today?", Eduardo asked Miss Rose through the phone.
"Why? I told not to ever contact me again", Rose answered, aggressively.
"What's wrong?", he asked, again.
"What's wrong? Is that the question you're asking me. Please Eduardo, I beg you. Can you stop bothering me with your calls?", she asked.
"I don't mean to disturb you, please just hear me out", he pleaded.
"I don't want to, okay? Now please will you not call me again, I'm very busy", Rose relayed and ended the call.
She placed her hand on her head trying to think hard.
"Why did you come back to my life, Eduardo?", she asked herself.
She still have this feelings for him but if he wouldn't appear again, she's sire to get over him.
Now, what does he want from her? Still asking her out for a dinner?
"Gosh! How frustrating", she thought and headed back to her study desk.
Was her son doing well? She knew how much a scum she is for leaving her only son all alone to a busy father.
She can't imagine the kind of hatred her son would have developed for her.
She always have missed them. She couldn't understand why she has to leave them all alone. All because her husband was too busy with work doesn't mean she should have left, even for the sake of her son.
She wished she could be with them again, but time has passed.
Her son won't be able to forgive her, neither would she be able to forgive herself.
She sat and stared at the frame she has kept as a memory for the past 10 years.
Looking at her lovely son, she began almost sob.
She cried her eyes out, remembering the day she decided to leave them.
Eduardo has just rushed in after he received a secret call from their head maid about his wife leaving the house.
He ran upstairs to their master bedroom only to open the door and see her luggage already packed up.
Rose was shocked at first to see him return so early from work. It was something that has never happened.
"Rose?", Eduardo called, smoothly.
Rose didn't utter a word and kept packing.
"Rose?", he called, again and moved closer to her.
"Don't touch me!", she snapped.
"What's wrong?", he asked, solemnly. "What's happening? Why are you packing? Okay fine, if it's about yesterday argument, then I'm sorry. I mean I just happen to be upset since to you're always complaining about my work".
Rose turned to face him, a stream of years dropping from her eyes.
"You should now understand that I will never, ever complain about your work. As you can see, I'm finally leaving you to your work", she relayed, bitterly.
"No don't do this. I'm sorry if I offended you but you know how my work life is, you should understand I can't do anything about it", Eduardo tried to explain.
"Sure, I understand and that is why I'm leaving you alone, so you can focus more on your work than always having an argument with me".
"Tell me you don't mean it? Tell me you're joking".
Rose laughed between tears.
"Yes I don't mean and I'm actually joking. Tomorrow please, I'll be signing a divorce, I need you to be at the registry by 2pm in the afternoon, I hope your hope won't disturb you from coming", Rose said dragging her luggage out.
Eduardo just stood and watched. He couldn't believe what he was seeing or what he just heard from his wife. She was filing a divorce.
"Rose?", he called and ran to her.
He grabbed her hand off her luggage and dragged her back into the room.
"You can't file a divorce, you won't!", he exclaimed, furiously.
"You can't stop me!", Rose exclaimed back.
"What?".
"I'm leaving you now and you can't do anything about that, we can't be together, don't you get it!", she snapped.
"You're leaving? What about our son, your son?", Eduardo asked taking her off guard.
There was moment of silent inside the room for they both didn't have anything to utter.
"Don't call me back. Don't try your best to do anything. Don't dare to force me because my mind is already made up", Rose warned and pulled his her off hers, striding out, she took her luggage and headed out of the mansion, out of Eduardo's and his son's life.
"I'm sorry honey", she pleaded in tears, placing the frame on her chest.
She cried her eyes out, not forgetting the memories she has once shared.

"It's nice to have you home today, dad", Davis said to his dad who finally returned home after some months of leaving for work.
"Davis, hope you've been good?", President Travis asked.
"Yes, if I may say but no since I haven't seen you until now", Davis said and walked fully into his dad room.
"That's great, at least you don't have to suck yourself up without me being around", President Travis uttered and tapped the bed for him to take his seat.
"You look so sick", Davis said and asked, "What is the doctor's report about your health?".
"He said I need to rest and that's why I'm home".
"Well not bad, seems I'll be having a great time for some while", Davis said and gave his dad a hug.
"Silly boy", President Travis uttered and hugged him back.
"How's work and DEF?", Davis asked, disengaging from the hug.
"All good. We seems to be tamed", President Travis relayed.
"Oops, you've gat lot of work on you then".
"A lot boy".
"Have you eaten or should I have the maid prepared?", Davis asked, kindled.
"I'm fine, just need some fresh air. Play tennis with me", President Travis proposed.
"Not again", Davis companied. "The game is too boring. Why don't we play video games?".
"Whatever you say", President Travis agreed.
"Sure dad, video games is more fun", Davis said and ran out to get the videos ready.
President Travis shaked his head. He just came back from work to get some rest and his boy wouldn't let him be.
"Well...", he thought. "I've missed being around him".

"Can I tell you a secret?," Angie whispered to Nancy.
Angie has called Nancy out for lunch to give her information and how her relationship was progressing.
"I'm all ears," Nancy answered, eager to hear what are friend want to say.
"We kissed again!" Angie exclaimed, slightly.
"Kissed, kissed who?" Nancy asked, lost.
"Maths kissed me again," Angie answered, sheepishly.
"You don't mean it?! Tell me what you just said isn't true."
"You're surprised, right? Now I know what you were trying to say the other time. I think we did a great job because it seems he's starting to get more interesting." Angie said, happily.
"I'm so glad and happy to hear that, Angie. Thank you so much." Nancy appreciated.
"Your most welcomed." Angie said, blushing hard.
"So, c'mon tell me, how did it happen? I thought you were only having dinner yesterday."
"Yea, but it turned out the other way round. Could you imagine we visit the Brooklyn bridge yesterday?" Angie asked and Nancy gasped strangely.
"You did?" Nancy asked, stunned.
"Yes dear. What's wrong with the expression? Is there any bad about it?"
"Of course no, I mean, it's great. Gist me how it went."
Angie heaved a sign and started. "Well, though I thought he wanted us to go on a date only to discover he went to mourn his mom. Yes Nancy, can you tell me how he lost his mom?"
Nancy stared largely at her. She couldn't believe Maths would take Angie with him to mourn his mom.
He does that every year, on the exact dad his mom commits suicide and it was always at the bridge.
"Should I tell her?" Nancy thought.
"Will you say something?" Angie asked, suspecting something wasn't right.
"Angela?" Nancy called her by her full name.
"Yes?" Angie answered.
"Maths had a woeful past which you don't know and that has to do with the reason why I begged you to consider."
"And what about the woeful past?"
Nancy breathed in and out. She don't want to be the one reviewing the painful event to her. She wished Maths himself would be the one to tell her.
"Why don't you ask Maths about yesterday?"
"Nancy, you're hiding something from me, right?"
"I am and it's something I can't review to you myself."
"Why?" Angie asked outrageously.
"Because I can't."
"But you know Maths, he won't open up for me."
"I know but please try to."
"Please Nancy just do me the favor, I also want to help." Angie pleaded.
Nancy smiled and took her hands.
"I know you really want to know so much, but can you also do me a favor by getting the full details from him and I promise you that if you still tried and he tells you nothing, then curse me before I tell you." Nancy relayed, confidently.
Seeing how adamant Nancy was, she decided to let her be.
"Alright, fine it's okay." Angie concluded.
