"Hi!", Angie greeted Maths immediately she sighted him coming out from his car, carrying his training bag on his arms.
Maths looked back and saw her beaming at him.
He was amused.
He couldn't possibly imagine her ever talking to him again.
She's fierce and determined.
Today, he tried not to ignore her since he didn't apologize for the other day.
He stood and watched her get close to him.
Tugging his hands into the pocket of his trousers, he watched her walked to him.
Also happy that he didn't ignore her, Angie ran up to him.
"Good morning", she greeted again.
"Any problem?", his deep soft voice came out.
"I just wanted to wish you success for today's match", she replied, mildly.
He looked at her astonished.
How could she wish him success after troubling her?
She just lied.
He knows clearly that inside of her, she wish they lost.
Even her facial expression said it all, "I pray for your downfall", was what she wishes for him.
He didn't reply and wished he hadn't waited for her.
He tried to move away but she blocked him.
"I really mean it", she said sincerely.
"Lies", he thought and smirked.
"I'll be there to cheer for you, make sure you try all your best to win".
"Cheer?", he asked indifferently.
"Yeah", she answered.
"No, don't bother. You don't need to stress yourself", he uttered with pleading voice.
He don't need her.
All she will be thinking is to bring him bad luck and he's not ready to lose, not at all.
"There's no way I will miss my boyfriend game. Nevertheless, I've never seen you on the field", she chattered happily.
He felt mused.
Is she still crazy to take him as a boyfriend?
She must be insane, stupid to still be in a relationship with him.
"Are you okay?", she asked suspecting his mood.
"Do you have anything to tell me?", he asked
"No? Why did you ask?", she answered.
"Aren't you tired of this relationship?".
Angie couldn't believe her ears and gave a slight laugh, making him feel embarrassed as students start pointing fingers at them.
"Let's talk about this later", he said and tried moving away but Angie dragged him back.
"I'm not tired of this relationship, okay? It's the best thing ever".
He scoffed and looked around to view those staring at him.
He don't like crowd watching him this way. He felt unsettled.
Suddenly, he grabbed her hand and led her away into the school hall.
She was shocked at first but later realized that he was avoiding the crowd.
He stopped immediately they got inside and flung her hand away from his.
"Look here, I won't stop you from watching the match but please can you stop this relationship of a thing, is not like we're together", he bellowed softly.
"Don't try to tell me you want this relationship to end, don't you? Delete that thought of your's because I'm not ready to end it".
"What's the need? It's just a month date".
"Whatever. Be it a month or less, I've got no plan to end it. Got it?"
"Is there a way to convince this girl?", he thought saddened. Why is it that she's too difficult to catch? He's not in for any fucking relationship but she keeps pestering him. Why? Why did he got himself into this mess?
He placed his hand on his head feeling distressed.
He hates himself so much that he couldn't do anything to stop Angie.
He just can't bring himself to accept her, he can't.
Angie saw he was disturbed and tried ending the conversation.
"I'll go to class now, I've got lectures. Make sure to win the match or you've got to tell everyone we're together", she said and winked at him before striding out, back to her classroom.
"Wait, What?!", he exclaimed, softly, "Did I hear her right? No, I don't think so".
Then the word echoed in his ears once again, "You've got to tell everyone we're together".
He hit his ears trying to stop the word.
How could he possibly announce something he still can't believe is happening.
"Trash", he thought as he made his way to his class.
Angie's POV
Nancy rushed out of the classroom down the stairs.
I ran after her to catch up with her.
"Nancy!", I called as she was about to enter into the swimming alley.
She heard her name and stopped to know who it was.
"Hey, baby girl!", I called again since she was searching for who called her.
She looked at my direction and gave me a broad smile, signaling with her hand that I should come over.
"What's you up to?", I asked as I got to her.
"Mr Kelvin asked to see me", she relayed between her breathed.
"Alright, you can go on", I said and turned her back for her to leave.
"I will be back soon", she assured and ran into the swimming alley.
I watched her and felt pity for her.
She has been preparing for the upcoming school games taking place in few days to now.
I guess the school is trying to end the sport activities fast because of the upcoming examination.
As expected, she's part of the contestants and has a lot to do.
Not only will she have to contest for the BGS, she also has to cheer for the basketball game.
I've also been practicing and contesting with middle school but haven't gone for a huge competition which I look forward to.
But, I wished I could compete for the match this semester even though I know it's impossible because I have just joined not quite long.
Maths teacher was already in class when I got in.
The class was already peaceful and calm.
No one dares to say a word in Mr. Anderson's class.
I took my seat and joined the class.

It was five minutes after the bell was rung for break when Nancy came in sweating profusely.
She picked up her bag and came up to me.
"Why were you late for class?", I asked completing my note from the last class.
"I've got a lot to do. C'mon let's go for lunch", she said and grabbed my hand.
"Wait a minute, let me get this done", I said as I still writing.
I think she was impatient because she grabbed my hand to lift me up as we ran down to the cafeteria.
We both ordered the same lunch as we begin to chat.
She was the one who started by telling me that she has to be in the basketball match being the cheerleader of BBT (Brooklyn basketball team).
She also has to contest in the BGS game, participating in the 400m race.
Just then, a chubby cute girl came up to us.
Looking at her, I think she's in her middle school.
"What are you doing here, Valentina?", Nancy asked and brought out a chair for her sit.
"I came to inform you that our stage dance is coming up in two weeks time and as you know, it's the end of the semester you can't afford to miss it", the girl relayed.
"Next weekend? That's too absurd, I've got to participate in the swimming competition", Nancy uttered, worriedly.
"You can't miss this leader, you missed last semester already", the girl muttered trying to convince her.
"What time is it?", Nancy asked her, bothered.
"4pm".
"Swimming competition starts by then, what am I to do?", she asked herself.
I watched them silently as I ate my lunch in order not to disturb them.
Nancy also continued to pick on her food thinking about the situation on ground.
After thinking for some while, she asked the girl to go back, that she'll try to get things done.
"What will you do now, Miss Popular", I teased while she rolled her eyeballs.
"I don't know yet", she answered, "I'm confused right now".
"Sorry dear, I'm sure you'll find your way", I assured and she nodded.
After chatting for some while, the bell was finally rung.
Standing up to dispose her leftover food, Nancy told me we will meet at the basketball match since she needs to gather her girl's for practice.
I was left to return to class.
I can't even go for training after school since beginner's are not training for now.
I also disposed my leftover food and cleaned my plate before getting back to class to commence the next subject.

After school, I ran to the school parking lot to wait for Maths before he head to the basketball court located at Weston College.
I wondered why they are the *Aways*.
I waited for about an hour and half before Maths came out of his school building.
I guess they had extra class.
He came towards his car ignoring me as I waved at him.
He opened his car and got in.
"Should I go with him to the basketball match", I thought and hit the side screen of his car.
He lowered the screen and furrowed his eyebrow, "Any problem".
"Give me a ride to Weston College".
