Maths threw his head backward aggressively then turned it back to face Angie.
Their eyes met again but his, got red in them.
"Look here", he started angrily.
I don't know the reason you're bothering me and why you insists on being your boyfriend after a kiss
But one thing I do know is that I don't have time.
I'm in no space for dramas.
If you have to continue with this nonsensical attitude, I don't think you can avoid my throwing you out from here without a blink of an eye. So, stop it and do what you need to!", he fired benevolence and turned his way back to the studio.
Words left her mouth. .
Angie couldn't think of uttering any words with the way he warned her fiercely.
She was speechless, at the same time scared.
She didn't expect him to be this angry.
He looked like a beast when releasing those speech.
She placed her hand on the door for support and stood up gently to avoid falling back due to her shaking legs.
Her body seems to get hot.
Her step shook but she manage to sit on the couch to rest for some while.
She has never been talked to this way.
"What have I gotten myself into?" She asked herself. "Why am I not able to get pass all this? Why must he behave this way to me? Is it that I'm wasting my time? Won't I be able to make progress?"
She placed her face on her palm and sob.
Her tears kept dropping even though she's not meant to cry.
She was pained.
She wept for some while.
She didn't know how to explain to Mrs. Sara that he can't go down for dinner.
She want to go home, call Nancy and yell at her that she shouldn't bother her anymore.
Their plan isn't doing any good to her.
Finally, she raised up her head and wiped away her streaming tears with the back of her hand.
She calmed herself before standing up from the couch to move out.
She got to the door and looked back to see if the studio door will open but it didn't.
She just had to leave, she can't even face him again.
Striding down the stairs, she heard some voices.
She knew that his family were waiting anxiously for them.
Julianne stood up immediately when she saw her walking down the stairs gloomily.
She knew something wasn't right.
She went over to Angie and help her walk down the stairs steadily.
"Are you okay?", she asked agitated.
Angie shook her head which meant she wasn't.
Julianne then led her to the dinning table to sit.
Julie stood up from her sit and went to sit beside Angie.
"What happened Angie? Are you okay? Did my brother do anything to you?", she asked anxious.
"Stop questioning her Julie, come and sit with dad", Sideon said.
"See, Angie eyes are teary and you are telling me not to question her. Don't you know my brother must have hurt her?", the little girl uttered with seriousness.
"Shhh...", Julianne shunned her up. Her daughter is really disturbing.
"Are you okay?", Riley also asked her and she nod her head.
"I'm fine", she said with hoarse voice.
"Can you have dinner with us?"
"No I've got no appetite".
Then Julianne went to her and pat her on her shoulder.
"It's okay", she assured. "You don't have to cry. I hope he didn't hurt you, I mean physical".
"No".
"Alright, do you want to go home now? Or can you spend the night over here?"
"I will go home", she muttered.
"Okay, I will get the chauffeur to drive you home".
"I'll take her home", Riley volunteered and stood up.
"Okay, Riley will take you home. Take care of her Riley and please make sure to drive save", Julianne pleaded facing Riley.
"I will", he said as they both walked out of the door to the parking lot.
"What do you think?", Julianne asked Sideon as they ate.
"That darn child", Sideon muttered, "He's playing hard to get".
"I can see the girl is really trying to help".
"He don't deserve her. She's too good for him".
"Are you saying he isn't good enough? Don't bad mouth him please", Julianne warned, playfully.
"There's nothing bad mouthing there, it's the truth".
"But why did he accept at first?", Julianne asked confused. "I don't even have any idea what he did to her up there".
"Eat Julianne and stop blabbering. Look at my little girl and the king inside of you, let them eat in peace. Here eat this", He complained and stretched out a piece of meat to her mouth which she ate gently.
"You don't even worry about anything", she said munching on her food.
"Why should I? I've got you and my children doing fine".
"You are heartless Sideon!"
"I've always been", he said and smirked at her.
"Now I know where he got that attitude from", she muttered and rolled her eyeballs.

On their way, Riley asked for Angie home's address
She told him and he typed on the Google map to search for the directions.
"You are brave, Angela", he complimented.
"Why?", the poor girl asked, confused.
"Of course, for taking those actions".
"It nothing, I still couldn't do anything", she muttered, playing with her fingers.
"Do you want to stop?"
"I guess so".
"Did he ask for a breakup?", Riley asked again trying to figure out what happened.
"No, I just decided".
He hummed and they went silent.
"You know, Maths is emotional. He's got no social life since birth, so you should expect anything tough from him. I, myself can't do anything to help him because he has been like this for ages and won't even want anymore to communicate with him about how he does, he hates it the most. I'm very sure if he got to know what you are up to, he's gonna do more than you can imagine".
"Is anything wrong with him emotionally?", she asked, curiously.
"You can say that. I guess Nancy didn't explain things to you clearly".
"Is there anything she could have told me?".
"Yes, a lot but it seems she's trying to follow Maths will. She won't tell you except Maths does himself".
Angie kept quiet. "Is what Riley saying the reason he was like that?".
"Nancy won't tell me if I ask?", she asked again.
"She could, if you are lucky and it seems you guys seems closed. You are a lucky one indeed", Riley said and gave her a broad smile.
"Is it something she will get angry for if I ask?", she asked again bothered.
"No, she won't. It's Maths problem not hers", Riley assured.
"Okay thank you", she appreciated.
"My pleasure", he replied and focused back to driving.

Maths came out of the studio as soon as he heard the door closed behind.
He'd heard her sob silently and felt guilty.
"Was he too harsh on her?", he thought.
He didn't want to hurt her but he had no choice, that's the least he could do to avoid hurting her more since he don't like distractions.
She didn't do anything to him yet he made her cry.
It better that way so she could know they can't be together. He don't want to bully her again.
What was she even thinking to be relationship with him? Did she have any idea who he is?
He ruffled his hair, disturbed. He just hope she will stop and ask for a breakup herself.
He didn't even know why he accepted the relationship at first.
He could have allowed her do what she pleases, that'd be better.
Moving around the sitting room, his gaze met with his mom.
The picture seem always to smile at him.
He watched the beautiful smile on her face and wished it was realistic.
"Mom?", he called, "Who am I?", he bellowed looking dazed, "What do you think of me? Your lovely lad? Or a grown up beast?
He took in a deep breath, removing his gaze from the portrait.
He felt alone as no reply came.
Is his life too boring? Or did he made it so?
It's been twelve years now but still his mind feels empty.
He can't even control his emotions.
He can't imagine how long he will continue this way.
Honestly, living this life is a bit annoying but what can he do when he can't even have communicate with people.
The only thing he could do better is to make troubles and yell at others.
A situation whereby he don't want to listen to anyone cautioning him about his life.
Yes, it's his life, he owns it all by himself.
No one should come to him and blabber over his life of which they don't understand.
But why did he feel guilty saying those words to Angie?
