Chapter 36 - STRANGE MESSAGE

It was another day at DEF company.

The satellite have been fixed and employees were busy copying out the important files from the systems.

The order came from the director a week ago.

"Good morning, Mr. Albert", Ben greeted immediately his boss entered into his office.

"In five minutes time, I want to meet everyone inside the meeting room", Sideon announced moving to his armchair to sit.

"Roger that, sir, your appoint..."

"Do what you are ask now Ben!", Sideon fired. "My appointment should come in later".

"But the president call for a conference meeting".

"Do as I say".

"Okay sir", Ben agreed and bowed before taking his leave.

Sideon sat, contemplating on the strange message he'd received earlier.

It was so strange that he became worried.

"What is the point of the message?", he thought.

He looked at his phone and read through the message again.

*** To Mr. Albert ***

Be advise that, you should be careful with the way you handle things.

***A friendly advice***

The message was really confusing.

He did not understand what it means and the content the the person was trying to relay.

"Careful?", Sideon thought deeply.

He has always been careful with things except for the mistake he made for not taking quick action to what happened to the company.

Not because he couldn't take quick actions but because he had no idea what was coming up.

And for the bandits that are trying to embezzle money from the company, they've not been heard of for some while.

"What is wrong?".

He needs to call his best friend, Riley.

Riley should see and help him also confined in the message.

Maybe, he could get something out of it.

Seems like the message was coming from those bandits.

Quickly, he stood up and went into the conference room to finalize what is taking them this long to copy the files and gives them quick warnings.

He hopes Def won't have anything to do with the message.

Angie and Nancy discussed a lot of things over the night on how to go on with their naughty plan.

Shed and Dennis has also been told of the plan which made them surprised and grateful to Angie for taking the risk.

They all know it's a difficult decision to take, so they encouraged her.

She and Nancy walked into their classroom gracefully.

They smiled as Shed gave them a wink from where he was seated and moved to their seat.

They can't wait for lunchtime because of what they've planned for the day.

After having two classes, the bell finally rang for break.

Nancy, then led Angie to the rooftop where they can meet Maths.

As expected, Maths was watching the busy road when Angie walked up to the pavement where he was standing on.

"Hi!", she greeted with a strain of smile on her lip.

He turned immediately he heard the greeting and was became stunned to see her.

He wasn't expecting to her here, whereas how did she know he would be here? Is Nancy disclosing things to her?

"Hi, Maths", she greeted again but still got no response and decided to go on with the conversation.

"I told you I'll be expecting my answer from you today, I hope you've given it some thought".

Still, he gave no response as he continued to stare into open space.

He wasn't prepared for that right now.

What the hell was she thinking to meet him during school hours?

Seeing that he wasn't responding to what she was saying, she climbed up to the pavement and went over to him.

Unfortunately, he turned the moment she was about to give him a tap on his shoulder while her hand swift over him and made her lost balance.

Swiftly, he was able to catch her before she fall but it was too late for they both missed their steps and made a fall.

They both landed on the ground upon each other.

Angie gave a slight scream as she fell but he was quick to catch her off guard.

She looked at him as he struggled to get up but she decided to make a stiffness on him so it will be difficult for him to get up.

His voice came out, "Get up from me!".

"I never knew you've got a smooth chest and abs", Angie said, placing her hands on his chest.

He felt irritated as she touched him and tried to get push her away but she stiffened herself on him.

"The only way to get up, is if you give me a satisfactory answer", she said and smirked over his face.

Maths was already getting tensed with her attitude.

He'd thought about it and has concluded to be her boyfriend, just for a month though.

After one month, he'll end the relationship and have nothing to do with her.

"Be my boyfriend, yes or yes?", she asked jokingly.

"Get up from me", he commanded harshly, trying to calm his nerves

"Don't scare me, Greek god", she said and gave a slight laugh before standing up from him.

He heaved a sign of relief.

"What a silly brat".

He stood up and cleaned his trousers.

"Only for a month", he let out, "After then, we'll end it".

"Wow, he agreed!", she thought happily, "He wants to date her for a month? Impressive".

"A month?", she asked to tease him.

"Yeah, after a month, I'll have nothing to do with you anymore".

"That's good", she muttered making him shock.

He was expecting to have an argument.

He thought she won't give in to his conclusion.

But it all good for him bey after one month, he won't have anything to do with her.

"Fine", he muttered, "I will take my leave".

"Hold on a second", she called before he leaves, "Why don't you invite me to dinner at your place?".

He stared bashful at her for a while before nodding his head.

"Invite me", she protested.

"Sure, you can have dinner at my place", he muttered feeling all rational.

"Is that how to invite?", she asked.

"What's wrong? I just invited you", he said aggressively.

"Not in a proper way, you should say, would you love to join me for dinner, Miss Angie?", she said demonstrating how he should ask her out.

"I've got no time", he scoffed

"I'm your girlfriend".

"Girlfriend?", he said irritated.

"Yes my boyfriend".

"Fine Miss Angie", he called, "As my girlfriend, join me tonight for dinner".

Angie felt happy and replied, "Yes I will, my prince".

He looked at her, red stealing it way into his cheeks.

Then he smirked and scoffed before walking out of the rooftop.

It was late in the evening when the meeting ended.

Sideon was able to clear some problems and reviewed those that has been done.

He'd worked out half of the internet issues by himself, it was not an easy task.

He moved back to his office and dialed his friend number on his phone.

At third ring, Riley picked up.

"Hello bro", Riley called.

"Hello, how are you?".

"I'm good and sound but stressed out".

"I'm so sorry for causing you trouble, I know it not been easy for you", Sideon said soothingly.

"It's okay".

"Where are you?"

"On my way home from office", Riley answered.

"Will you love to have dinner at my place tonight?"

"Hey man, that will be great".

"Alright see you soon and don't work too late".

"I won't, I promise", he assured and ended the call.

Sideon made the reservation since he don't want to stress Riley any longer.

The man has been good to him, he don't even know how to appreciate him and still, he's pouring his problems on him.

Well, you can't blame him, he's friend is a smart one.

There's no way he won't try to get advice from him of which he will be forever grateful.
