This was the kind of image that Ast saw next, initially, he was perplexed but the information started pouring down on his head.
This was the interface unique to him, it was a testament to his current prowess.
There was a golden mysterious eye on the top of this image, Ast tried to focus on it. It was the 'All Seeing eye', it was one of the powers that immediately awakened with his talent(origin skill). It allowed him to detect and see beyond all illusions. It empowered his intuition and strengthens all and any of his already existing ocular powers. It also enables him to see other people's talents and skills.
Next were the two columns with permanent and temporary written over with three blank slots. With his talent, Ast had got an overpowered ability which lets him detect and copy another person's talent.
With the permanent part, he could copy and activate any three talents permanently. These three talents would be like his own, he could grow these talents (not their grade. To upgrade the grade of talent is impossible right now in the story) and slowly obtain skills related to them. This would be like he had awakened these talents naturally. But this section comes with a restriction that he could only copy talents of lower grade than his original talent.
With the temporary part, he could copy any three talents temporarily, but these talents would not grow(no new skills could be generated). At the time of copying the skill that would be obtained, would remain the only skill in that column. What it means was that he would only obtain one skill and talent could not grow, but the good thing was that he could replace that talent.
Ast understood the implications of his obtained talent and overpowered was the only word that came to his mind. Not only because of the existence of multiple talents but the synergy effect that multiple talents could bring.
Ast had a huge smile on his face for a long time. After a while, he started thinking about how he could break the curse that plagued his tribe. He knew if he truly wanted to utilise his talent, he had to leave and participate in various events of the Universal System.
Though he didn't like the system as it felt to him that someone else was toying with their lives, still he would use any means necessary to gain a similar kind of power, the power that has suppressed his close ones for so long. Because having that power means to be truly free, otherwise, you are just some pawns in someone else game.
