Ast first took out the splinter from his back and stopped the bleeding using his recently obtained talent. He also formed a thin layer of clot to help speed up the healing process.
Although Tim was the one who attacked Ast, others didn't seem to mind it at all. For example, Rita was the team healer, if she wanted she could have tried to help Ast when he was on his knees or even now when he was injured. But she considered Ast not worthy of her help.
Ast was getting tired of getting looked down on. He next tried to copy Rita's talent in the next temporary section. Immediately a new talent and skill appeared in the previously blank section. Ast got 'minor heal' skill, this time he didn't feel much dizziness or weakness. He used the skill to heal himself.
Ast found that a warm wave passed over his body and he couldn't feel pain anymore. Ast had already copied two talents and he plans to change his healer talent in the future. Ast was now contemplating whether to continue this journey or not.
" Guys it looks like I am not welcomed, so I will take my leave now," Ast said as he dropped their bags on the side of the tree and started walking back towards the direction that they had come from.
Now everyone was looking at Tim, to see what his reaction would be like.
"Hey, we didn't allow you to leave. Drag your pathetic body back here and be the useless porter you were meant to be" Tim shouted at Ast, who was slowly walking away.
Hearing this something clicked inside Ast 'Now he has done it, I don't care if I would have to go against them all. I have to teach this moron a lesson
Ast stopped and turned around to face Tim. Ast gave a wide grin to Tim and said "Why don't you make me come back, or do you still need your group's support to hold your hand and tell you what to do"
Hearing this come out of Ast's mouth everyone was shocked. No one expected Ast to have the courage to confront Tim Headon.
Seeing this scene play out Tim's initial expression was that of shock, but now he was furious. He was furious because what Ast had said was true but what made him more furious was the fact that this came out of the mouth of someone without any talent.
Tim started running towards Ast and punched using his skill and all his might. Ast was part of the chrome tribe, a tribe of assassins who trained in daggers and sickles and chains. Ast was waiting for Tim to make a mistake, although Ast didn't want to show any of his talents, even without talent it was pretty easy for him to deal with Tim.
Ast shifted his weight on his left foot and made a side turn. Tim's punch landed in the air, he completely missed and due to his momentum was falling fast. But before he could fall, Ast used his momentum from twisting and gave Tim a strong round kick at the back of his head.
The kick connected and with a loud bang, Tim hit the ground. From the impact, Tim had a deep cut on his face (small pebbles on the ground) and due to the impact of the kick, the back of Tim's head was swollen.
Tim was unconscious at this moment. Tom was truly shocked by the turn of events. His brother who had just kicked this fellow over was now lying down bleeding and unconscious. Tom saw this and began running towards Ast, to take revenge for his brother.
Tom used his skill to increase his speed and performed a dropkick on Ast. Ast didn't dodge completely but again shifted to the side and planted a knee on Tom's abdomen.
Again with a bang, Tom was also on the ground. Ast methods were that of an assassin, he was taught to end the fight as soon as possible and never show more than necessary.
The other three members of the group just looked from afar. They couldn't believe that he was the same man who was on his knees a few minutes ago.
Ast didn't wait for anyone to respond. He took Tim and Tom's rings and started running away.
