Ast woke up early the next morning he had gotten a basic idea of how to use his new weapon and he was now planning to go explore the forest a bit more as tomorrow he had to start his job at the transit terminal.
He looked at his unique panel and saw that his skill blood devil was now level 3. He quickly found the location of the blood devil and carefully proceeded towards it.
He was just 5 mins away from the decided meetup location when suddenly he saw a new talent message popping on his panel. It was for a grade S talent 'Trickster'. Ast was surprised, he saw that no one was near him and even using the 'All seeing eye' he couldn't locate the position of this mysterious bearer of S grade talent.
Ast copied this talent on his temporary section replacing the healer talent. Ast felt a bit nauseated but he quickly got over it. New information poured into his head and he felt a mild headache again.
Ast got a new S-grade talent and a new skill. 'Zero Dimension', was the name of the skill that Ast got. All the information related to the skill poured into his head.
'Zero Dimension' skill provides him access to a different dimension that exists in the layers of the space but could not be accessed normally. It was like an unbelievable cheat skill which allows you to travel unnoticed everywhere.
But there were many restrictions as well. To use this skill you have to create a node in space. A point from where you could enter this new dimension. After entering the dimension your body is sort of deconstructed and it only exists in the form of some consciousness that could travel freely but cannot influence the material world at all.
To exit from this state you have to find the node that you previously created and exit from there. You could only see and hear but not do anything else while in this state.
Now Ast understood why he couldn't find the person/creature who possessed this talent. But Ast was stuck with another question why his skill (all seeing eye) that originated from an sss grade talent could not see past the skill from an s grade one?
But then he recalled that he was yet to increase the level of his 'all-seeing eye. There were generally two types of skills that exists. One was the one that came with the cooldown and many restrictions and the other was free to use kind of skill which requires 'soul power' to be used.
Ast had previously not paid attention to it as when he obtained his sss grade talent his soul power had shot through the roof and activating the 'all seeing eye' didn't consume much soul power and the other skills that he had were the cooldown type.
But now when he activated the skill 'zero dimension' he could feel certain changes and thus he had now confirmed the existence of soul power(not like it needed any confirmation, just that he was made aware of this phenomenon, by first time using it)
Ast created and entered the node. The zero dimension was a truly mystical place, except for his two senses of sight and hearing Ast couldn't feel anything. He saw around and found the same world but with different colours of translucent fabrics. It seemed to him as if he was viewing the world while he was within some magical sheets peeking outside.
Now for the first time, Ast saw the appearance of the being from which he had copied his skill and to his amazement, it was a small pixie, which was looking towards Ast with the same enlarged and shocked eyes as Ast.
