The cocoon around Ast burst open after 10 hours was over and the hardened shell of the cocoon was devoured by his body, taking it all in through the skin pores.
Ast's appearance was very different from his usual self right now, there was a slight increase in his height. His short pitch black hair had all turned snow white with long length and his body colour had darkened a bit looking like someone tanned in the sun.
Ast woke up from his slumber and instantly felt refreshed. He tried to feel what has changed in his body. Firstly he noticed the length and colour of his hair, then he tried to sit in the lotus position. Ast was aware that many a time when the body goes through qualitative changes, the most difficult part was adjusting to new strengths and being aware of those changes.
Ast didn't care too much about his appearance changes. He was meditating and focusing on every part of his body. He noticed that now his body has too much explosive strength. After two hours of meditation, he was still not too sure about the extent of his power. The changes in his body were too drastic (and it wasn't that there was a system to quantify his power😉).
Ast next focused on his talent panel and there was it, a new talent was shining brightly on his permanent section. But the peculiar thing was that this new talent kind of attracted his intent as if calling him. Ast was attracted towards 'Blood Monarch' written in blood red colour on his permanent section.
As Ast focused on the words suddenly a new panel was activated. It read something like this.

Ast was surprised to see a new talent panel and again lots of information started pouring unto Ast's head.
This new talent has given Ast two sections, one was the skill section that contains his sole skill right now.
The second was the section of the legion, this meant that he could now create an army of blood clan race, but right now only ghouls were available and that too only 3. So Ast could convert 3 humans to ghouls and they would be part of his legion.
With levelling, both his skills and legions would develop. He would be provided with new skills after a certain number of levels up (this was unique to each talent, new skills could be unlocked after any number of talent levels up) and similarly, new legion members would be unlocked with level up as well.
Ast then focused on the bat symbol at the top most, it was the original skill that came with the talent, it was 'shapeshifter'. But the interesting point was that although the symbol on top of the panel was of a bat, Ast's shapeshift does not transform him into a bat.
Ast's shape-shifting animal was a mutated snowy owl. All the info about this creature flowed into his mind. It was a beautiful white owl with big huge wings, it had uniform black spots all over its body and its eyes were golden.
Ast got a rough idea about his shape-shifting abilities but he needed to explore more. But suddenly he remembered that today was the first day of his new job.
