Chris told Ast to bring a guide for the orient forest as he needed someone with knowledge of this forest to map out the central region and find any hidden dangers if any.
"Sir, if I am being honest with you I only recently started working here and before that, I was a map maker myself and I can guarantee that no one can guide you better in the orient forest than me. I can confidently stake my life on the line for that statement" said Ast, as he was curious why a SS grade talent holder was doing in a backward place like the cluster bloom.
"Oh if that's the case then I can promise, you will be handsomely rewarded, but if you are trying to swindle us then you should know that you won't have a good end," said Chais menacingly.
Ast noted Chis and his two bodyguards' talent and skills. Chris has level 20 talent with 3 skills, but all were non-combat skills.

Looking at Chris's talent, he was sure that Chris has only recently learned his 3rd skill. But secretly Ast was also overjoyed seeing their first two skills of Chris, as using these two he could free his tribe and himself from the curse.

Ast was surprised to see his talent on one of Chris's bodyguards, but the grade of this bodyguard's talent was only grade B. Ast noticed that this person had a sharpshooter talent but was not carrying any bow, which means either he keeps a hidden bow somewhere (which could be deployed quickly) or he was carrying a firearm.
This bodyguard's function was to detect danger and operate from a distance. The other one was more inclined towards protecting Chris and dealing in close range.
Chris was thinking of taking his attendant into the forest and testing his skill, otherwise, it would waste their precious time and then they would need to dispose of him and find another guide.
Chris rented a room in the transit terminal's dormitory and told Ast to wait outside.
"Young master we should also hire a team of strong adventurers, so if we encounter any troubles we can use them as the first line of defence and then retreat," said Karl to Chris. Karl and Sal were his two bodyguards. Karl was the one with 'The Analyst' talent.
"Yeah that's a good idea you go to the adventure guild and arrange for it, Sal and I would test this attendant's skills by then. Return before midnight, we will start early morning towards the central region of orient forest" said Chris, he also sent a message to Dave, telling him to wait for him and meet him tomorrow in the morning.
After obtaining the 'Blood Monarch' talent Ast's physique was at a whole different level. While he was waiting outside, he tried to focus on Chris's conversation inside the room and was surprised when he heard Dave's name. Ast had listened to their whole conversation and was now planning.
Ast also looked at his panel and saw that the blood devil was now level 10. He was surprised, wondering what has his summon gone through to make it that strong. He called it back towards the direction of the forest, where his skill was supposed to be tested by Chris.
Chris came out with Karl and Sal, while Karl departed towards the adventure guild the other two asked Ast to give them a tour of the orient forest.
Ast led them towards the forest where the blood devil was hidden. He had kept the blood devil near to help him if he falls under the illusion of Chris. Ast had never faced such skill and didn't know the extent of Chris's illusions. Ast had made the preliminary preparations and now was the time to get some answers from Chris.
As to why Ast was interested even in the first place, the answer to that question was simple. Ast had already suspected Dave to be a vampire, Ast himself had found a SS grade talent in the central region of orient forest, which he was sure he also obtained from another vampire and now another SS grade talent holder appears suddenly, who by the way is in cahoots with Dave and wanted to venture deep in the central region of orient forest. This all cannot be a fuc**ng coincidence.
