There was a long line of about 20 kids in front of Ast in comparison to others Ast was too old for having his talent awaken but Ast was 90% sure that he was going to get great talent.
He trusted his parents and knew they had many secrets with them. Ast didn't inform anyone of his arrival at the temple back in the tribe. He wanted to keep this a secret.
The temple was an official place for people to awaken their talent. The Universal System had established them and fighting was not allowed anywhere near the temple.
The temples appeared to be grand and huge from the outside but until now only a single room was accessible to people. Rest all inside the temple was restricted.
It was not known to them if this was just in the temple situated inside the forest, because the people here were cursed or if it was the feature of every temple in existence.
Soon there were just 2 people in front of Ast and it was going to be his turn. Although Ast had already rationalised and thought about this moment quite a lot but still when his chance came, he was super anxious.
There was a huge glowing stone in front of Ast, he kept his hand on the stone and at the same time used his other hand to try and burst the ruby crystal that he had with him.
But to his surprise, the crystal didn't budge. Previously in fear that the crystal might accidentally burst Ast had always tried to keep it as safe as possible and didn't know about the hardness of the crystal, but right now Ast was panicking hard.
He didn't know what to do, he was hardly breathing. He had built huge expectations for this moment. This moment had played in various forms in his head, but this was the thing that he was least expecting.
In this moment of panic and utter shock, Ast pressed the crystal so hard that his hand started bleeding. As soon as his blood touched the crystal, the red ruby crystal suddenly became brittle and it immediately burst open. All this took place within seconds.
Ast was brought out of his trance by an announcement. A loud announcement.

It was a well-known fact that the talent obtained by people was not unique and many came with the same name. But what was peculiar was the fact that each talent grew with hosts. The starting point would be the same but they all had their journey and destination. And this was also seen in the plethora of various unique skills that can come from the same talent.
In general 'the analyst' was a rare talent which might even exist as grade A sometimes. But the problem was that it was a non-combat talent, and these sorts of talents were not looked at as something great.
People having this talent would either be good at strategic manoeuvres or would have some skills related to ocular prowess which would be good for scouting.
But still with all that info on this talent, what Ast saw and felt next completely blew his mind and he was laughing for a whole minute like an idiot.
