Standing facing ancient weapons wielded by powerful warriors made the students feel top, all except Vin.
Every step in this room made a different memory flash before his eyes. Seventy percent of the weapons here belonged to mages and knights Dravil killed.
Pushing away the thoughts aside, Vin walked towards the weapons, hovering above, he looked at them with the most serious glare.
Akio saw this, but said no word.
"Okay, how will these weapons choose us?" Damien asked, when suddenly a crack underneath him occurred.
Stepping away, a brown sparkle floated towards him before changing into a spiked mallet.
A bright glow followed alongside when he held it, a runic symbol as well appeared on his palm.
"Whoa!" Damien smiled.
"That's an ancient Knight's weapon, its abilities are good… you should know how to harness them." Akio explained.
"My turn" Ivan proudly walked to the same spot Damien had stood. A crack occurred, with a blue sparkle which floated to him as well.
From this, a staff was formed. Ancient symbols, carved on every side. A blue crystal ball floated on its top, attached to something invisible.
"Awesome!" Ivan spinned his staff with pride in his eyes.
"Looks like you got a staff from an ancient Wizard, Gavin, which controls well… you need to find out." Akio smirked, making Ivan let out a groan.
"He knows but doesn't want to say" Ivan mumbled looking at him with a sided vision.
"My turn" Lucas rushed to the spot, happy to receive his.
Again, the same incident happened. A silver sparkle floated around him, before getting formed into two Pistons.
Both, carved with an unknown symbol.
Holding both, a ring appeared on his index finger, with another symbol carved in.
"Pistons?" He rotated them with ease and without failing to put a smile on his face.
"Belong to a Demon hunter, Wren, with infinite bullets, its ability, well, find out." Akio again said, making Lucas whisper an inaudible word.
"My turn" Eden happily pushed through, standing on the exact spot without shaking.
A green sparkle came out from the crack, floating around, then with a blinding light, it changed into a bow.
Made with what seemed like iron. The string sparkling and reflecting from the lowest light.
"No arrows?" Ivan questioned.
"Drag the string" commanded Akio.
Doing as told, an arrow appeared from nowhere. Releasing the string, it disappeared.
"Now, that's one awesome bow!" Vin exclaimed.
"I got an idea!" Eden dragged the string to the widest limit, creating five blazing arrows. With tears in his eyes, he said, "I love my weapon."
"But its full ability, you know not" Akio again said, making Eden weak.
"Okay, we are done?" Looking around, Akio's eyes landed on Vin. "Okay come along"
"B-"
"Don't be shy."
Hearing this, made him walk towards the spot.
[I'm in the body of a demon, would any weapon choose me? All these weapons were welded by one or two mages, knights and hunters. Would anyone choose a corrupt body?.]
Standing on the spot, nothing happened making everyone look at each other.
"So-"
Before he spoke, an explosion happened, not a simple crack. The force was strong enough to send one flying.
From the large hole caused by the blast, a black thick fog surrounded him.
"Black?" Akio removed his glasses, wiping his eyes to ensure what he was seeing wasn't a trick of the light, "BLACK?!"
Hovering around him, a clashing sound like that of thunder echoed throughout the room.
Vin himself stood still, not knowing if he should move.
From the black thick fog, a weapon slowly formed.
A sword.
Not just an ordinary sword.
Crimson red liquid dripped from its blade, before rushing into the handle.
The sword moved towards Vin, who did the honor of gripping its handle tightly.
3, 2, 1…
A red dragon symbol appeared on his left eye. From the hood, his black hair came out, with the tip changing its color into red.
Vin swung the sword with a bright smile.
"I…I'm speechless," Akio said, walking towards him. "Black?"
"Is there anything wrong?"
"No one had ever had a black fog ever! So there is little to no explanation concerning them!" Akio looked at the blade which had his reflection on it. "What I must say is that they are highly Powerful. To whom this weapon belongs, I don't know. But for the red dragon symbol, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with dragons."
Hearing this, the entire class surrounded Vin's weapon, all having curious expressions.
"How would you like it?" Eden asked.
"W-"
"Would you be able to channel your power into the sword?" Another question came from Ivan.
"If-"
"So cool! I wonder if its power is infinite slashes" Lucas said.
"What? Infinite slashes don't go well with it!" Ivan argued.
"Then what? Infinite stupidity?"
As they all debated, Akio stood unshakable. His mind ran through each and every trillion books he had read. But none had the full detail on the sword, neither color it possesses.
"None has any explanation Concerning this! I never knew this would be possible!" He said, looking at Vin with a narrow glare. "I thought so earlier…."
_______
Going back to the class, the students were excited and filled with glee.
"Alright, keep your voice down," Akio said with a smile.
Slowly, the annoying noises died, resulting in a quiet peaceful class.
"Thank you" He again smiled, "We will be having important words from Snow before embarking on your journey. On foot!"
The way he placed the last word, made everyone look at him with anger.
Snow walked in without any warning. He had his hands placed behind and an air of authority filled the room.
"Since today is the first day you all embark on a journey, a mission, after getting your chosen weapons, I'll state all which are important and leave the rest to your understanding…"
As Snow began speaking, Vin's eyes went wide open when he remembered something really important.
[Lord! I forgot to visit Alucus!.]
