".....For more than a millennium, mages have always been a pain in the neck, making our plans futile!."
Silence filled the room as the Lords all shook their heads, sharing one another's thoughts in murmurs. Vin on the other hand was in a different world. A world of thought.
"If only there was a way to end those so-called heroes, our obstacles!" A woman, pale and lean said, her eyes on Vin.
"I can lead shadows from the abyss to devour them all" Another said.
"That would be ruthless, especially to the womens! Let's keep them out and devour their souls" Aragon placed his opinion.
"Must you think of women every single time we discuss anything important?" A dark mage asked, fury in his eyes.
"Well, why won't I?"
"If we can't hold a meeting without fluxes, then how can we work head to head over this situation?"
"He's right My fellow lords," Another woman said, "An effort to ameliorate the situation should be placed right on hand. Right, My Lord Dravil?."
Vin's mind remained unchanged, his hand on his chin, eyes on the table.
[Why would Snow invite me to his mansion? Can't I do everything in the academy?]
"Lord Dravil?"
[...Even though! I need to find a way to escape death for my actions. Every villain mustn't go unpunished..]
"Lord Dravil?"
[....Now, I need to answer these Lords with a simple word! I hate this!]
"Lord Dr-"
"We can't attack without creating a good plan. Not just a plan, we should also know their weaknesses. If such were done correctly, there won't be any 'pain in the neck', moreover, this isn't done in a day." Vin said, making the others nod in Understanding.
[I need to leave b-....]
'BLAST'
The walls suddenly broke. A wide hole caused by a rush of fire.
"Uh?" Aragon looked at what just happened, he never knew someone would just break into their meeting.
Then, his thoughts were cut short, when a creature, pride and large walked in.
From his nostrils, a rush of smoke escaped. Skin, invulnerable, covered with uncrackable scales.
With his tail, he flung pillars down. Claws, he scratched against the ground.
A loud deep roar left his mouth, sending lava to erupt from the ground.
A red Dragon, Ar.
"I see the meeting hasn't fully begun, how low!" He said, spitting out fire.
"Ar, must you always make an entrance?" Drake, one of the lords seated, asked, "I too am a dragon."
"A low dragon unworthy to be praised!" Ar laughed, but soon stopped when he saw Dravil staring at him.
Why is he here?. Ar said within his mind.
"Dravil!"
"Ar!"
[I only have fragments of memory of this mighty Arch dragon of the sky. But pride cloaks him.]
"Why must you be here you-..."
"You what?" Vin asked the dragon who let out a snort. "What? You can't speak again?"
"I can Dravil, I just happen to be seeing you for the second time" The way Ar said the last two words were enough to make one know something happened in the past. "I wonder if you are still as powerful as before!."
"I don't want to speak to an oversized lizard with countable brain cells of a fish!." Vin said, looking in the opposite direction.
"Oversized lizard? Countable brain cells of a fish?!," Fury sparked in Ar's eyes as he repeated the words, "Who do you think you are talking to just because you are all powerful and strong! You dimwit!"
"Exactly like I said," Vin continued, "Only those with brain cells of a fish wouldn't keep their mouth shut in the presence of all the lords around! Ar, keep your mouth shut!"
"You da-"
Before he could say another word, the air changed thicker and denser.
The eyes of Dravil spoke all the words he could say.
"I leave you because you are powerful. Anyways, ta-ta, I won't be among this meeting for as long as Dravil remains alive." The red dragon flew away with clear pride, making the entire gathering erupt in anger.
Vin on the other hand yawned in his mind. He knew if a fight was started, it would render his coming useless.
____
The meeting ended with disagreements on what must be done. However, Vin's presence as Dravil reduced the impact of a battle.
Standing by the window side, watching how terrible the world he stands is, Vin suddenly remembered something.
[Oh No! The time! I need to get back to Zenphek immediately!.]
Turning to leave, he came face to face with Aragon.
"My lord won't decide to leave without a single drink, would he?" He asked Vin with a smile.
Taking the glass from his hand, Vin's eyes went wide open from the aroma coming from the glass.
"Fresh blood"
Holding the drink tightly, Vin smelled a rat.
Before anyone could say a word, He poured the blood on Aragon's hair, allowing the liquid to flow down, wasted.
"Nice cloaking spell, and thanks for spiking my drink, Nina."
"You know!." From Aragon's figure, to a beautiful woman, Vin knew all along.
With the beauty of a goddess slapped on her face to a shiny ebony black wavy hair falling to her back, she was so gorgeous, Vin said…
"Why did you spike my drink?"
"What? I would never do such a horrible disgusting thing!" A dramatic melodious voice left her mouth. Her smile dropped when she saw a twitch on his face. "You win!."
"Why?"
"Well, I've always asked you for a night together but you always say No! I don't know why? Am I not beautiful for your liking Lord Dravil?" She pouted, making Vin's anger rise. He was trying to not engage in a conversation with some girl.
"What the heck?!" He rubbed his temples, calming down his soul from her words.
"Accept me Lord Dravil! Accept me as yours! Just one night! Even if you rip me limb to limb, Just one night!" She gripped on his leg, tears pouring down her face.
"Leave me alone woman!" Vin tried to release her grip, but it was too tight. "Let me go!"
Using Magic to bind her, Vin heaved a sigh, his eyes fuming with lack of patience.
"Whoa, Lord Dravil actually didn't accept a demon as pretty as Nina? Whoa!" Vin heard some lords whisper in the dark.
"Say another word and I will make sure you don't have a tongue!" He told them.
"We deeply apologize to Lord Dravil!" The lords said before rushing away in fear. They knew another word would cost their heads.
Leaving Nina behind, Vin wished headphones existed in this world. If they did, he would have long worn them.
