Chapter 19 - CHAPTER 19: Let's check around.

The ladies led the way while the guys followed. When they got it the place Austin began to take pictures of the sight while the others sat down to chat. When Austin was done he joined them. After a while,e Jules felt a little left out since they were talking about themselves so she left them for a stroll along the beach.

They talked for a while without noticing her absence.

"Where's Jules?" Al startled everyone with that question.

"She was here a few seconds ago," Scarlet said worryingly.

"Let's check around maybe she's close," Austin suggested.

"Where could she have gone to," Al screamed.

"Check around there and I will take that route," Austin suggested.

"Scarlet you stay here and give us a call in case she returns," Austin said as he held her to the seat.

"Cover as much area as you can in 10 minutes. If we still don't find her we call for help." Al said.

"Okay," Austin said as he took his route and began calling her name.

Al walked for a while without uttering a word. The thought of what his dad can do to him almost shook him to his core. He walked as fast as he could hoping he finds her or at least Austin does find her.

5 minutes have passed since there left and still no call to give any positive feedback.

"JULES!!" Al shouted her name finally.

Crazy thoughts were running through his head. The last time he was this shaken was when his mother left him.

'What if dad leaves me too.' He thought as he kept on shouting her name.

Sooner or later the 10minutes timer he set rang which meant it was time for him to head back so they can go for plan b.

"Where's Al?" Austin questioned Scarlet when he got back.

"Not back yet he's probably on his way here." Scarlet reasoned.

"Did you get anything?" Scarlet asked.

"Nothing. No sign of her out there." Austin said sadly.

"Did you get anything?" Austin asked Al the moment he was in sight.

"Nothing." He started simply.

"It's time we call for help," Austin said.

He called the rescue team and filed a case.

"They said they will be here in 10 minutes with the lifeguard," Austin said.

"Why, do they think there's a possibility that she's drowned or what?" Scarlet asked.

"That's not possible there's no way she will be stupid enough to go into the sea," Al said trying to convince himself.

"I think we should call our parents and inform them," Austin suggested

"Yeah, it's about time we informed them." Scarlet agreed.

"No.....no," Al said shaking his head.

"Why is that?" Austin asked.

"Did you see how dad warned me? No, I can't risk informing him till we get something concrete." Al said shaken.

"What if it's not serious?" He questioned.

"We can at least wait till we get something concrete before we tell him." Al pleaded.

"Okay." Scarlet agreed.

"So now we can't sit here with our arms crossed as we wait for them to arrive," Austin said.

"Scarlet you sit here as we go and look for her again. When the rescue team arrives tell them all we know and stick with the team I don't want anything happening to you." Austin instructed.

"Okay. I will so that." She said as the guys split to cover more area.

They began calling her name as each of them tried to find her. Sooner or the rescue team also joined in the search to help them cover more area.

They're all lost track of time as they look for Jules.

"Where are you?" Austin asked the moment he answered the call.

"Still searching for her," Al said

"Do you realize that if you find her and you don't know where you guys are it will be difficult for you to find your way back?" Austin said.

"Wait what's that?" He asked subconsciously.

"Did you find something?" Austin asked.

"There's something in the sea, it seems to be struggling and drifting far away hold on let me take a look," Al said as he placed the phone in his pocket and went closer to the bank of the sea. That's when she realized it was a human being and he or she seem to be drifting faster away. He stood there in shock as he watched it.
