He standing there still amazed about what just happened when his phone rang.

"What's it now," Al asked.

"Am calling to tell you that am done with what you asked," Nick said.

"Did he say he will wait up for her?" Al asked.

"He said I should warn you to make sure nothing happens to her. And that he will see you in the morning." Nick delivered.

"Okay, I guess he didn't suspect a thing," Al mumbled.

"Yeah, I guess he didn't," Nick repeated.

"Anything else you need?" Nick inquired.

"Nothing for now. See you tomorrow." Al said as he hung up.

"Mr.Leblanc..." The doctor called him the moment he was done with the call.

"Huh...." He responded.

"Is everything okay with her?" Al asked.

"We are done with everything. I just came looking for you." The doctor said.

"Thank you, doctor," Al said.

"It's my job." The doctor smiled.

"Where is she doc.?" He asked.

"She seated at where u were before you left." The doctor said as he left to do the rest of his work.

"Let's go," Al said when he got to where she is seated.

"Okay." She stood up and followed Al to the parking lot.

He unlocked the car and sat in as he waited for Jules to also do the same.

He started the engine and drove off. There rode in complete silence for half of the way

"So you won't even ask me how am doing?" Jules broke the silence.

"I paid the doctor enough money to ensure that. So there's no need for me to ask again." Al said coldly.

"When I heard you were the one that saved me I thought maybe you have changed but I guess you didn't," Jules said.

"People don't change overnight," Al said coldly.

"Indeed I guess we are back to being enemies," Jules asked.

"Precisely..." Al said.

"Are you alright?" He asked after a few minutes of silence.

"Yes, I am..." Jules smiled.

"So how did you end up in the sea," Al asked

"I thought you will never ask." Jules chuckled.

"Am waiting for your answer." Al pointed.

"I felt a little dizzy as I was walking by the beach. I next thing I remember was struggling to survive. I thought you won't dive in to save me." Jules narrated.

"Why are you so clumsy? Why did you leave in the first place? Do you realize you could have died if I had been any second late?" Al said angrily.

"Sorry I didn't expect that to happen. Don't worry I won't tell Uncle what happened. It will be our little secret." Jules assured.

"Good..... What did the doctor say caused the dizziness?" Al asked.

"None of your concern," Jules said coldly.

"Okay, not that I want to even bother myself," Al said as he drove into the mansion.

"We are here." He mumbled under his breath as he turned off the engine.

"Thanks for today. I owe you one." Jules said.

"Good. I will use it for a favor." Al said as he stepped out of the car.

"Good night," Jules said as she went to her room.

"What a day it has been." Al sighed as he made his way to his room.

He took a shower immediately and went to bed.

Luckily he slept shortly after his skin touched the bed.
