"I see my best friend has met his meet." Austin joked and Al shot back angrily at him."
Can you guys drop all this drama?" Mrs.Grey said.
"Now if you don't mind can I take my wife home?"
"Take her home! Right now..." Al exclaimed.
"Because the church has closed and she needs rest," Austin said.
"Do you want her to get tired of you?" Al whispered.
Austin ignored what he said and called his wife.
"Why do you want to go home right now," Al asked Scarlet.
"No, I don't, "Scarlet answered.
" okay dear.No pressure," Austin said.
"So what do you want to do," Al asked her.
"Perhaps just go with you and just hang," Scarlet answered.
"Okay... You can go with Al." Austin smiled.
"Make sure nothing happens to her," Austin warned him.
"I will drop her off later in the evening. I guess today you will have dinner all by yourself." Al smiled.
"You better," Austin said.
"Okay, we will go separate ways for now," Louis said.
"Less I forget, the arrangement for the family's day out tomorrow is through. I hope you've canceled all your appointments for tomorrow." Austin asked Al.
"Yeah, I have done that," Al answered.
Both families organize a family day out. They do this once a month to catch up on what's going on in both families. They organise fun outdoor activities and got to the beaches. Most times it is only the parents that make it since sometimes the boys get themselves super busy.
"Scarlet can you wait for me in the car I will be there very soon" Al requested her as he went to his friend's side.
"What's it," Austin asked him.
"You know you should be thanking me instead of ridiculing me. You are suffocating her I hope you know that." Al said and Austin could say nothing but node.
"I don't like a company with me. But here is the case if I don't step in one day you will wake up and not find her. Am not saying go to work and leave her alone but you can send her to your parents or even her parents to spend some time free from you." Al advised.
"I get you." Austin smiled.
"Good now go home and prepare something romantic for the two of you. Rest assured I will protect her and bring her back here in one piece." Al smiled.
"Okay, thanks, bro." Austin hugged him.
"Bye..." They bid each other goodbye and left.
"What did you guys talk about," Scarlet asked Al when he started the car.
"Bro code" that's all Al said.
When they got to the house they realized the others have already gotten there.
When they went inside Jules was in the kitchen with Butler Sam and Louis were at the poolside.
"You can join him there while I go and change." He gestured to where Louis was.
"Okay," Scarlet said as she walked towards the poolside and Al went upstairs.
He took a quick shower and slipped into a pair of shorts and a tight tee shirt revealing his well-built upper body. He made his way to the poolside but bumped into Jules.
"Will you watch where you are going?" Al exclaimed attracting the attention of everyone around. He looked furiously at Jules who was looking straight into his hazel eyes. She has never gotten a close glimpse of him ever since she got here.
"I said next time watch where you are going," Al spoke coldly which broke into her thoughts.
"We will have no problem if you also do the same." Jules finally found her voice.
'He's good-looking, no wonder he is so arrogant. He must have heard it a thousand times.' Jules thought as she walked away.
'How come she affects me a lot.' Al thought as he went to the poolside.
"You have to take it easy on here," Louis said the moment Al got there.
"She bumped into me and am the one getting scolded." Al fumed.
"Yeah. Just a bump why did you scream as if you got stabbed." Louis said
"I know you are like that with almost all women unless they are close to you or you want something from them but please can you stop behaving like that towards her, she's been through a lot," Louis advised.
"Tell her to stay out of my way and we will all leave peacefully as you wish," Al said as he made his way to one of the poolside benches.
