"Wake up son."Alaric heard someone say in his sleep.
"mmmm...…mmhh. It's still early let e sleep." He said when he was released it was his father.
"Wake up now!"Louis exclaimed.
"What do you want me to meet, is early morning." Al sat on his bed.
"It's now 7 am" he added looking at his watch.
"I know son so get ready before we run late," Louis said.
"for what it's a Sunday morning," Al asked.
"You are going to join us for church," Louis said.
"I don't want to go anywhere," Al said.
"I was not asking. You are joining us for church this Sunday as well as every other Sunday." Louis said.
"Now get ready and meet us downstairs in the next 20 minutes for breakfast before we head out, for church," Louis ordered and left his room.
Last Sunday Louis, Jules, and Butler went together. Louis and Sam go to church every Sunday but have never dragged him along before but Jules came
around from nowhere in less than 2 weeks and has been able to convince his dad otherwise. He sensed this, last week but managed to come up with a perfect excuse. Looks like this week his charm didn't work.
He stood up, took a shower, and got dressed. Everyone knew him to be the cold-hearted playboy but what no one knew was that he doesn't like to get on the bad side of his dad.
When he reached downstairs he realized that Jules, Louis, and Sam were seated waiting for him. After breakfast, he made his way to the garage.
"And where are you going to. Won't you join us?"Louis asked.
" You told me to go to church. It didn't mean I have to ride with you. I know where the church is."Alaric shot back.
"Okay then. Do you have a Bible?" Louis asked.
"Naaa.." Al answered.
"You are going to church without a Bible." Louis raised an eyebrow.
"There's one on the table. Go for it" Louis announced as Al walked to the table for it.
"Okay Al we will meet you there then," Jules said.
"I remember I told you quite vividly not to call me Al, it Alaric for you. Don't even call me." Al warned.
"Okay, Mr.Arrogant. It won't happen again." Jules smiled as she left Alaric there.
"Me. Arrogant, I'm I arrogant." Al stood there talking to himself.
*** In the Church***
As he entered the church everyone was gazing at him intensely. It's good he called Austin to save him a seat for him. After what seemed like forever to Al the service ended at last.
"Oh...wow," Austin exclaimed.
"Wow... What" Al retorted.
" You know I was surprised when he called me this morning saying he is coming so I should save a seat for him. And was more surprised when I saw him." Austin joked and everyone laughed.
"It's not funny," Al said.
"Chill dude we just stepped out from the church." Austin patted his back to calm him down.
"And let me guess this is our new family member, Jules right." Austin diverted everyone's attention to her.
"Yeah. This is her." Louis smiled.
"She's not a family member." Al pointed out.
"Relax son." Mr.Grey smiled.
"Sorry, we've not been able to visit since the incident. How you are fine now" Mrs.Grey asked Jules.
"Everything is fine. Thanks for your concern." Jules smiled.
"Darling how are you," Scarlet asked Al.
"Am fine love." He hugged her.
"So Jules this is Austin and his family. Austin and Al are childhood friends. And his wife Scarlet." Louis introduced them.
"Ohhh...so Mr. Arrogant has friends. " she raised an eyebrow which caused them to start laughing.
"Am surprised" she added.
"Will you stop calling me that?" Al retorted.
"But you told me not to call you Alaric or Al. So how should I call you now." Jules asked.
"Just don't call me." He said simply.
