**Austin's House***
When Austin got home, his wife was seated comfortably on the sofa watching television
"Hello, dear wife I've missed you so much."He said as he kissed her cheeks.
"Austin my husband you've not even gone missing for more than 5hours and you are claiming you have missed me."Scarlet raised an eyebrow.
"Why do I need days to miss my wife?"Austin asked.
"it's okay let's drop the matter," Austin said as he took a seat beside his wife.
"but then why are you home so early," Scarlet asked.
"didn't I just tell you to drop the matter?"Austin asked.
"Okay."Scarlet sighed and there was complete silence in the hall.
"mmmm...mmh" Scarlet cleared her throat.
"what is it ?"Austin asked.
"Just wanted to ask something," Scarlet asked.
"you can ask."
"Did you drop Alaric off?"She asked.
"naaah ...…I didn't he said he can drive."Austin said.
"couldn't he drive when he knocked down someone's child," Scarlet asked?
"I offered to drive him but he refused and said he will call when he arrives," Austin explained.
"okay …. We will wait for his call then."Scarlet smiled as she turned her concentration back to what she is watching.
"if you want to go and rest I suggest you go and rest since he might call in approximately 30minutes time."
"30 minutes is perfect by that time I will be done with this movie," Scarlet said.
"but...…"
"shhh...hhhh" Scarlet gestured for silence.
***In 25 Minutes ***
Austin's phone Rang
"have you arrived?"
"Yeah. Am still in the car I decided to call you now before I forget."Al said
"Okay then ...Good, you decided to call before you forgot."Austin said.
"Bye," Al said and hung up.
"Has he arrived," Scarlet asked?
"Yeah he has," Austin replied
"so how can we go inside since you are done with your movie," Austin asked,
"Yes we can," Scarlet answered.
Austin scooped her into his arms as they went to their room.
***Alaric's House***
As Al made his way into his house he heard laughter. When he entered he saw his dad, their butler, and of course their guest, Jules.
"Look who we have here."His father said when he entered.
"Am not in the mood for this dad."
"Have you taken your supper yet?"Louis asked
"I'm fine."He replied.
"Okay then goodnight, but if you feel bored don't forget you are welcome to join us," Louis said.
"Don't worry. I won't."He retorted and made his way to his room. He took him to shower the moment he got upstairs and laid in bed ready to sleep but couldn't because of the noise coming from downstairs. He got out of bed and made his way downstairs.
"Coming to join us?"His dad asked when he saw him.
"am here for water."He replied and made his way to the kitchen to get what he
came there for and went back to his room.
Thankfully sleep finally took over.
