" Hello Annabella", Justin greeted as he walked over to her, classes had just ended for the day and he had already made his decision. Bella turned around a bit surprised before frowning when she realized it was him.
The hallway was filled with student buzzing out of the school building, both juniors and seniors.
" It's Bella to you alright", she said harshly as she shut her locker and turned fully to face him. She was holding her English textbook and her notebook on one hand and her phone on the other.
" You have finally decided, so where?", she asked afterwards staring straight into his eyes with a smile on her face. He only smiled once before raising a small notebook in front of her.
" I did decide Annabella, it's your house and here you go, you can write me the address and I'll be there 4:00pm sharp", he said revealing a pen he had been holding and she frowned deeply at him.
" My house was never an option", she said irritably and he just smiled, dropping his hand. " But my house was, so why wasn't yours an option?", he asked back with the same irritable voice.
" I thought you would feel much more comfortable at your house and besides I don't take people to where I'm not comfortable in and that's why there were two options, the coffee shop close to Miles's home and your house", Bella responded sharply.
She stared at him with her grey eyes, her warm smile returning to her face just quickly. She didn't want to get angry and ruin her mood. " So there you have it, make a decision", she said and he just stared back at those grey eyes like he was drugged.
" Justin", Bella called out realising he was just staring at her with his mouth almost wide open. She turned around to see if someone was behind her but found no one and that was when Justin came back to reality.
In that second that he was looking in her eyes, he couldn't hear a word anyone was saying, how could staring at a pair of grey eyes be so enchanting, he felt like he was uncovering how many layers of colors were in those grey eyes.
" I'm sorry, what were you saying?", he asked staring at anywhere but her eyes as he cursed inwardly. " I said you should make a decision, it's almost 3:30pm", she repeated and he frowned.
Make a decision, a decision..., oh that's right, she didn't accept his first decision, should he insist on that, he asked inwardly as his eyes involuntarily went to her face and he saw that smile on her lips.
God why was everything about her being clear to him all of a sudden? " I think the coffee shop around Miles's home sounds good, but who's this Miles you speak of?", He asked calmly, dropping the idea of annoying her and pushing forward with his plans.
" Miles Jayson", Bella said thinking he would understand who she was talking about now but instead his face turned absolutely blank like she was just repeating her words.
" You don't know Miles?", Bella asked shocked at the realization. Miles was simply every girl's dream boyfriend and every guy's envy, how could he seriously not know Miles?
He didn't say anything but once again stretched out his hand so she could take the book and the pen. " Write down the coffee shop address", he said blankly and she took the small notebook.
She passed her textbook, notebook and phone to him so he could hold it for her. Justin took it from her although he found her behavior too free, she was like someone who loved getting along with everyone.
She placed the small note book on her locker using it as a desk, then she wrote down the address of the coffee shop along with it's name.
She handed the small note book back to Justin and took her things from him. " See you at 4:00pm then", she said softly and was about walking away as the hallway had gone quieter and almost empty.
" Wait a minute Annabella", Justin suddenly said and she stopped and turned to face him. He was staring directly at the note book and frowning deeply, why was that?
" Unee dosi coffee shop, am I correct?", he suddenly asked finally staring at her. She sighed forgetting that not everyone could read her terrible, very terrible, hand writing.
She snatched the note book from him and stared at it, the name was pretty clear as she wrote it in the most legible way she could think of. She raised her head to stare at him and he had that one in a million smile on his face that made her always smile with him.
" I've never seen a chicken's handwriting before", he suddenly said and her smile faded as she glared at him and threw the book back at him. He chuckled, staggering backwards as he caught the book in his hand and it crumpled up a bit..
Two teachers were walking towards them and one of them glared at Justin for almost hitting him. He apologized quickly like the reserved person he was and turned around to face Bella who stuck her tongue out at him and his smile suddenly widened without his control.
She smiled fondly always funding it hard to ignore his smile, she couldn't help voicing out. " Uno Dos coffee shop, don't be late", she said sweetly and walked away. She met Miles in the parking lot who told her he had been waiting for a long time and made her promise to make him sandwich once they arrive at his house. She usually stayed there after school.
Justin smiled to himself as he watched her get into a nice looking car with some very handsome guy. He figured that must be Miles and his face went back to being blank.
She was a good person and she doesn't deserve to know him because those who knew him would only get hurt in the end.

Duke got down from his car and crossed the road heading straight to Jennifer's mansion gates. " Hey Harry", he greeted the gate man as he opened up for him. " Is Jennifer in?", he asked casually, shoving his hands in his Jean pockets as the gate man nodded and pointed at his car which was parked at the side of the road, opposite the mansion.
" Oh that, I don't plan to stay around long, just came to check up on her", he said and the gate man nodded swiftly and let him go through.
What a pity Jennifer lived in this huge white mansion all by herself, with only the exception of cooks, maids, househelps and body guards. Well if that was what it meant to be an only child/ heiress then he was better off having a younger annoying brother.
" Good day Young sir", the house keeper greeted him and he quickly embraced the elderly man. " Randy, you are back", he said and the man smiled cheekily at Duke's closeness and playfulness.
" So how's the new born?", he asked after letting go of Randy as they both headed straight to the wide living room. He was the housekeeper of Jennifer's mansion and a very cheerful man at that. Unlike the Gate man Harry who barely spoke, Randy was actually more free with words.
" You mean my grand daughter Angel, she's just like an Angel, my son finally has his own family", Randy said with a dreamy look on his ageing face remembering the time he spent with his son and his family when he was away from the mansion.
" Well now that you're back, I hope you have enough tales to share", Duke said smiling at Randy's sheepish look and the old man blushed when he saw the way Duke looked at him.
Duke chuckled out loud hugging the old man once more. He heard the clicking of heels from behind him and he quickly turned around to see Jennifer descending the large stairs, wearing golden heels and a short gold dress which accentuated her curves and the heels increasing her height. She looked marveling.
" You came?", Jennifer asked a bit surprised as she finally reached towards Duke and he nodded. She was a bit shocked that he would come since he had been angry at her the entire day because of her non stop crying about Tony.
He took large strides towards her, pulled her closer to him and hugged her tightly leaving her speechless. He released her from his embrace while Randy wandered off realising they needed time alone.
" I'm sorry about earlier, I know I was being a jerk but I so badly wanted to prove my point, am really sorry if I hadn't been supportive and comforting when you needed it", Duke said softly and calmly. He was always different when it was her, showing her the side of him that no one knew.
He felt that being soft was so not his character but when it was Jennifer, he sometimes showed her that soft side of him, after all they were childhood friends.
" Oh Duke", Jennifer called out in a quiet voice as she broke into another crying fit not minding her make up while Duke embraced her once again. " I should have listened to you", she said softly as they remained that way for a long time with Duke allowing Jennifer to cry her heart out on his shoulders.
Until she got tired of standing dud she take off her heels, rendering her short, with him towering above her and they both burst into laughter at the sudden height difference.
