The sound of beeps dominated in the room full of medical equipment. An anesthesiologist is on duty with a neurology surgeon and an orthopedic pheddist is on duty accompanied by several nurses and two resident doctors. Originally, the operation went smoothly until Sheina's blood pressure suddenly dropped and her heart weakened. The heart surgeon immediately participated in the young girl's rescue operation, and it took about five hours.
When she was taken to the ICU room, Sheina was completely unconscious and the doctor said that if she was in a state of can't recover and could return to normal after all those bad things, it was all a miracle. Ben cried bedside her, while Oliver opted out of the room. He couldn't control himself from the exploding anger, not knowing who was to blame for everything that happened.
Sheina had to breathe through a ventilator and she was made to fall asleep to make sure her recovery wasn't compromised. For some time she would just fall asleep, while everyone who knew her lived with the slim hopes of her returning to the way she was before.

The next day, after a long and frightening night, Ben was still sitting in the room where his daughter was being cared for while Oliver was also still in the same room. But he got worse news than that, Jovanca Bill was found dead in his home. And at this time his body was taken to the hospital for autopsy.
"What is that?" Ben looked at Oliver's expression after receiving a call on his cell phone.
"It's about the case being handled by Sheina." Oliver replied. "She's dealing with danger, and I've commemorated her many times but not heard it." Oliver shook his head in despair.
Ben sighed deeply, he took Sheina's hand and rubbed it gently. "She remind me of her mother." Ben whispered with a bitter smile. "Her mother died in order to maintain what she thought was right." Ben remembers very well that Leah lost her life as she fought desperately to have her own baby, a baby born from her womb. But even before the baby was born, she had already lost her life as well as their baby.
"Yes, you're right." Oliver nodded. "She is very stubborn, she never listened to me, and although I was very angry with her for what she is doing, she knew how to make me weak before her." Oliver said.
Ben smiled, "We are in the same position." He said.
"I asked for special protection from the police to protect Sheina until this case can be resolved." Oliver said.
"Is it necessary?" Ben asked.
"Very, they won't stop giving terror until we give up on this case." Oliver said. "I've faced something of the same kind of this case, even worse, and I lost my co-workers because of my stubbornness." Oliver's jaw hardened. "I don't want to lose Sheina." Oliver said.
"So what's next?" Ben asked.
"Sheina will remain in the hospital and I will remain here twenty-four hours to make sure there is no sabotage from anyone, I have some acquaintances in this hospital and they can be trusted." Oliver said. "You'd better go home and take care of your family."
"She's my daughter." Ben shriveled his eyebrows, as if Oliver was driving him away and it made his ego hurt.
"I'm not asking you not to come again, you can come after the situation is safe." said Oliver. "I will take care of your daughter with my life, and a few bodyguards will make sure everything is okay. You and your family will also get protection from the police, so maybe for a while, you will feel that discomfort. But believe me, this is all I did for the safety of the whole family." Oliver reassures Ben and after giving a small peck on Sheina's forehead, Ben leaves his daughter.

Oliver picked up his cell phone, "Sorry but I have to fight on my way." Oliver whispered as he grasped Sheina's hand. He contacted his acquaintances and asked to thoroughly investigate the case. Anyone who harms Sheina so fatally should get a decent reply. And the old lady who died because of this case, her death should not be in vain.
"Hallo." There was an old man's voice on the other end of the line, his voice heavy and authoritative.
"Dad." One word escaped Oliver's lips.
"I heard the news, and I think you're in big trouble." Said the old man on the other end of the phone.
"I'll try to work it out my way." Oliver said.
"They are big bad guys, you can't rely on your ego. You have to play with brains and an established strategy." said the father. "And you know, I'm always behind you. Whenever you need me." he said.
"Thank you dad." Oliver replied.
"You can count on me, son." The man replied. Marshall Hawkins' network is clearly broader than his son's and this case has been handled many times, even the far less dangerous. "I will help you with all my strength."
"I owe you, Dad."
"I'll do my best for you, Son. How are things going?" Marshall inquired about Sheina.
"The condition is stable, but there has been no significant development."
"I hope he gets past his critical period soon."
"Yes." Oliver replied, he looked at the girl he loved.
"Ok, I'll contact you again." Marshall hung up his call and Oliver put away his cell phone.
He took Sheina's hand once more. "Stay with me please." He whispered in Sheina's ear and there was no response from the girl other than the beeping sound of the machine indicating that her heart was still beating normally.
Oliver sighed deeply, "I lost Randy in a case like this." whispered Oliver near Sheina's face, she hoped that her soft voice would be heard enough by Sheina even if she didn't respond.
"My first case, at that time I was with my friend Randy faced with the same case. I got a warning to take the case off but I ignored it. Randy backed me up in that case and we tried to dig up the various facts that existed until that day we just won his case in court and we went out to celebrate our victory." Oliver whispered.
His gaze was clearly dark, he also looked heavy saying everything in the face of Sheina who was struggling to maintain her life which currently depended on all the life-sustaining medical equipment attached to her.
"Randy was brutally shot in front of the bar where we were drinking while I was still inside to retrieve my left-behind car keys." Oliver swallowed, his face suddenly pale.
"Eighteen bullets penetrated his body and he died on the spot. I owe him a life, because all those bullets should have penetrated my body, I was the one who was targeted by them." Oliver whispered.
"Wake up and I won't be angry with you." he whispered again. "Get up, please get up." Once again Oliver whispered, and he saw the corners of Sheina's eyes shed tears.
"I know you heard me, and whatever you felt there, or what you experienced there, woke up and came back to me." Oliver pecked Sheina's hand and looked at the girl with teary eyes.
Oliver's phone vibrated and he looked in the direction of the cell phone, a short message from his father.
"I'm in your office, all your work has been handled by me. Focus on healing it." Marshall wrote. The man is not close enough to his son or Sheina, but when Oliver struggles between life and death in the hospital, penetrated by a bullet in Vely's case, Sheina never leaves his side. That's why Marshall knows how much they love each other.
Something he always considered a failure because he couldn't be a role model for Oliver. The failure of his relationship with his former wife, the biological mother of Oliver, the divorce that led to a custody battle over Oliver as well as his mother who was found to have committed suicide, all became a burden on Marshall's shoulders. The old man even vowed that the rest of his life he would use to always be there for his son, to make up for the past oliver experienced that was not all beautiful.
