Chapter 7 - The Richman - Honneymoon

It's always a honneymoon after the wedding, as well as George and Claire. They had an argument over vacation plans because George chose Paris, Germany, Switzerland, Maldives, Bali, Tailand, but Claire chose England.

"Why did you choose UK baby, we can travel the world but not to that place." George looked a little annoyed, on the second day he married Claire.

"What's wrong with UK, you can even enjoy reunions with people you know while in that place, you can also visit places you used to go to a lot." Claire was a little pushy.

George took a deep look at Claire, "What's wrong with you baby?" He asked.

"Nothing, we're just planning a honeymoon and the place I want to go the most right now is the UK."

"Name the specific place you want to go." George relented.

"Palace, may be we can meet the King and Queen of England." Claire said in a joking tone as she tied a tie for George and the man froze at that.

"Don't be stupid." George murmured and his muttering was heard by Claire.

"You said I was stupid?" Claire's eyebrows were intertwined. "What's wrong with you?" Claire looked at George with a puzzled look. "Since yesterday you have always been persuading for a honeymoon even though I refused it. And now I've decided that the place I really want to go to is the UK, and you said that I'm stupid."

George sighed deeply, "I didn't say it." Disclaimer.

"Ok, so my stupid choice?" Claire twisted her eyebrows at George.

"Ok, we're going to the UK. I will ask my secretary to take care of all his itineraries." George chooses to avoid debate and Clarie rejects it.

"No, I do my self." He replied and it made George freeze for a while looking at his wife. "What's wrong with you baby, why are you. . .?" George was actually confused as to why Claire was so insistent on the UK, did she know something about George's childhood or did she want to find out something she didn't know or what? Guessing made George frustrated.

Claire sighed, she looked at her husband, "Ask your self, whats wrong with you George." Calire shook his head softly before leaving his room and going out to petrify Adrianna his mother-in-law to prepare breakfast. Although there was a household assistant who did it, Adrianna seemed happy to do everything by herself. He had said that keeping himself busy was one of his ways to stay healthy and happy.

"Hey sweetty." Adrianna greeted.

"Hi mom." Claire smiled at a glance.

"Are you ok?" Adrianna saw that Claire's smile was not as sincere as usual, and she felt that she needed to ask about it. Given that the first days of marriage have become very crucial for young couples, disagreements to quarrels are very likely.

Claire shook her head, "Not really." He replied weakly.

"Tell me, what's the big deal?" Adrianna took Claire's hand, she knew that sometimes facing George her son was not an easy matter. George did inherit ninety percent of his father's Adric traits, but ten percent of George's traits and attitudes were hard enough to handle if someone hadn't known him so deeply. And Claire is still in the stage of recognizing her husband. Even couples who have been married for decades are sometimes still stunned by their partner's attitude in certain situations.

Claire bowed down at a glance, "George said for us on our honeymoon, but I have already rejected it."

"Hey, you go. The honeymoon will be a lot of fun and it will bring you closer baby, the intimacy you need as a provision to live your days as a husband and wife." Adrianna gave an explanation before even knowing what the real problem was.

"It wasn't that problem, in the end I agreed and he asked me to determine where we were going." Claire said.

"Ok, and then?" Adrianna tried to listen this time.

"I chose UK and George rejected him for no apparent reason, he was confusing." Claire looked a little disappointed. The expression on Adrianna's face changed at a glance, more or less she knew the story of masalalu between her son and a girl at the place. If they decide to return to the country, maybe George is uncomfortable because various memories will probably rise without him wanting.

"Choose another place then." Adrianna smiled as she rubbed her daughter-in-law's arm.

Claire looked at her mother-in-law, "Is there anything I don't know about the country? Or is it the person in George's circle?" Claire asked suddenly and it made Adrianna froze.

"Nothing." His whimpers lied. "Maybe George is just uncomfortable returning to that place dear, believe me there are millions of beautiful places to spend during your honeymoon and you can choose other alternatives." Adrianna smiled before she finished her final touches.

"I forgot to check my phone, I'll be in my room for a while." Adrianna said as she left the dining table. Not without reason, she wanted to give George and Claire room to talk about this matter together before George left the house. He hoped that the troubles they were experiencing would not shake up their new household.

George came down from the second floor and walked to the dining room for breakfast before he went to the office. Claire poured him coffee.
