Inside the Earth's space station...
A man with an eye patch was casually seated in the control centre. Boredom was visible on his face. "I am sick and tired of this. I have been staring at this screen all day long, yet nothing is happening. --"
beep! beep!
beep!
An alarm resounded loudly inside the space station.
The man with the eye patch jumped up from his seat. "What is it?" the man inquired. He went towards the big screen. Several men wearing military uniforms could be seen typing away on multiple screens.
"Captain, I think something just trespassed our defense line," a man said.
"What! but I see nothing, "said the man with an eye patch."
"Sir, we think it is invisible," another man with bald hair deduced.
A red light was indicating a spot on the screen, signifying that something had just passed through the defence line.
"Make it visible," the man ordered again.
"We have already tried, but the intruder seems to be preventing us from inside," replied one of the soldiers in the control seat.
The eye-patched man, who seems like the captain wanted to facepalm himself, wasn't called the 20100 for anything. Technology was a bit advanced, and the intruder probably considered all this. The captain thought, "I need to tell dad. Maybe it is what he was expecting. "

A tall figure could be seen walking on the road. Different people were seen walking down the road, some wearing Beast gear and others wearing regular clothes. Despite the crowd, he still stands out.
The figure walked until he got to an isolated area.
A single house was built in the area. The house was made of thick metal. The house was not in the best condition, as a few rust spots could be seen here and there.
The figure walked towards the door and knocked gently. The doorknob twisted and opened. A middle-aged woman came out with a girl behind her. The girl looked like she was the same age as Ethan.
"You must be Ethan Hawke," she said while stretching out her hand for a handshake.
"Yes, I am," Ethan said, taking the handshake. "And you must be Mrs. Rose," Ethan asked.
"Yes, and this is my daughter, Helen," Mrs. Rose introduced.
"Hi," Helen said shyly. A blush was present on her face. Her mother nudged her with her shoulder, bringing her back to reality.
Mrs. Rose inquired, "We heard from the orphanage that you will be attending the academy."
"Yes." Ethan was unaware of this, but he guessed it must be part of Aldric's arrangement.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting. "Come in," Mrs. Rose said with a genuine smile.
The interior of the house was quite modest, not too expensive and not too cheap either. The mother and daughter duo gave him coffee before bombarding him with lots of questions.
"My daughter here would also attend the academy," Mrs. Rose said.
Ethan was quite tired of all the questions. He had to generate a lot of fake stories, but he continued
.
"Wow, so what ability user are you?" Ethan eventually asked his first question.
"I can teleport," Helen said proudly.
"So what about yours?" Helen asked too.
"Ahem, I am a flame user," Ethan said, but he was not sure. The flame ability is exclusive to all Draconian, so he didn't know if he could consider it an ability.
"Wow," the mother and daughter duo gasped.
"The flame ability is very rare; only 5 percent of the world's population has that ability. The military and other factions usually invest more in flame users, "Helen explained.
Ethan made a fireball in his hands. 'I never knew they had this much regard for the flame's ability. I wonder what they will do if they find out about the dragon race. " Ethan thought.
He wondered if he could still get another ability. 'Can I get another ability?' Ethan asked. It would be so cool if he had assessed to more than one ability.
"Look who finally remembered me!" Ethan heard the voice. He has now become familiar with it.
"Can you please answer the question? ' Ethan asked again. He had not been able to converse with the ancient dragon for some time now.
"Yes, you can," Rowena finally answered.
Ethan was relieved. Maybe his dream of owning two abilities is no longer far away.
"Helen, why don't you show Ethan to his room?" Mrs. Rose requested after chatting for a while.
Ethan followed behind Helen. The walk was awkward. Luckily, the house was not big. They entered a room with only a bed and a wardrobe. Not that he needed the wardrobe, anyway. He could change his clothes using his spatial ring.
"This is all we've got," Helen said, slightly embarrassed.
"It is OK, this is enough," Ethan said heartily.
"You might want to get a rest. the Military will come to pick us up tomorrow," she said as she walked out of the room.
"The military academy? I all most forgot," Ethan thought.
He had other plans for tonight, so he pushed the thought away for now.
Currently, Ethan was walking down a street. The street looked like it was from the old era.
Many could be seen smoking, and women with revealing clothes were busy sampling themselves for potential customers.
"Some things can never be stopped, even in this era." Ethan shook his head. He halted his step when he saw a placard held high by a woman with revealing clothes, but what drew his attention was the placard she was holding. "Fight Club" was written boldly on it.
He already had a general idea about it. However, he still inquired. After paying some points from his watch, he was allowed to enter.
Several spectators could be seen staring intently at a steel cage. Two muscular men could be seen fighting with brute force. All their attacks were pure strength; they had no skill, just brute force. He noticed that all the spectators had distanced themselves a bit from the steel cage.
The fight continued. Suddenly, he heard a scream. He looked toward the source of the sound and noticed a fan had been electrified. The man was shaking violently while holding the steel cage.
"So that is why they all stood back," Ethan thought.
After two more matches, he walked towards the organizer's table. "Gentlemen, is there a way to join the fight?" he asked.
After a while, the men at the table grinned and said, "Sure, just transfer 50 points."
