Sierra could see Jessie lying still on the bed. She approached her to check her temperature and try to rouse her. The maids had gone home and Jessie had passed out.
She dashed to the bathroom to get a bowl of water and a towel to cool Jessie's heated body.
She could finally see Jessie move after more than an hour of caring for her. She breathed out deeply.
When Jessie spoke to her, she hurried to get Jessie some water to drink.
"She is doing fine now," Sierra told Din, who was sitting on the couch in the living room with his hands about his head. Din gazed at her with his eyes elevated. As he rose up, he sighed.
"She just arrived, and she's already causing too many problems."
"Din, don't say things like that. She is also in pain, but I am relieved to report that she is presently doing well. You may go to your bed." Sierra patted his shoulder and murmured.
