Jessie pressed her lips together. "I can't believe she'd do something like that to me." She frowned and clasped her fist.
"What are you guys talking about? It sounded funny. I heard Bev laughing." Sierra entered the room holding a plate of food.
As she set it in front of Jessie, Jessie replied, "Thank you." Sierra sat next to Bev, who handed her her phone so she could watch a video.
"Jessie is only fun when she's drunk," Bev explained.
Sierra looked up at Jessie. "You had this much fun in Vegas? I really look forward to hearing this story." She began to laugh too, and Bev joined.
"You!" Jessie blurted. "You, this traitor." She nearly hurled her fork at Bev, but she kept her cool and concentrated on her food while Bev and Sierra continued to laugh at her.
