Lucifer woke up feeling a bit groggy. He was carried by Augustus back to the house. "What did I do to myself?" he said, feeling a bit miserable.
"Oh, you're awake," Augustus said.
"I've been sleeping a lot and waking up from them doesn't feel good," Lucifer replies.
Augustus goes to his room and drops him on the bed. "So what stupid thing did I do this time?" he asked.
Augustus looks up and holds his chin in a deep thought. "Hm, let's see, after you took the first slice of cake, you went wild and hoarded the rest of the pastries for yourself, refusing to share any more of them."
Lucifer scoffs. "That's a lie," he said. Augustus took out his holopad and showed him a video he recorded.
He was hissing at everyone and soon created a large shield around himself. No one looked upset by this, instead, they looked very amused by this.
Lucifer remembers this and now remembers why he isn't allowed to have any sugar. He goes insane and gets addicted, wanting more. It's like having a taste of sweet poison.
"I want to look myself in the Dark Dimension for another thousand years," Lucifer said covering his blushing face. "Why didn't you stop me?" he asked Augustus, who was enjoying his reaction.
"You looked like you were enjoying yourself," Augustus said. 'I was too busy videoing the incident.'
Lucifer looks at him blankly. "You enjoyed recording this, didn't you, Your Highness?" he hissed at him.
Augustus didn't reply to him and Lucifer shook his head at him. "Shame on you, shame on you," Lucifer said, feeling disappointed.
"I apologize," Augustus said brushing his hair.
Lucifer then heard himself crying and whimpering because he had finished every piece of dessert on the table and covered his face with his pillow. "In the name of everything good, this is so embarrassing."
Lucifer was in the training room with the Hero Aiden having an intense fight. Outside the training room were Augustus and Hiro who were watching.
What is going on?
Well, Xavier and Hiro decided to visit Augustus and Phoenix, because Hiro felt awful for not being a friend indeed when Phoenix needed him and wanted to make it up to him.
Xavier was very against this, of course. But how is he going to explain to his fiance that the old Phoenix was dead and the Phoenix that they know now is the soul of a powerful Demon King that he was lucky to kill four thousand years ago?
When they got there, Augustus and Phoenix or Lucifer were talking in the living room. The aura around them was peaceful, meaning that they got along quite well.
"Greetings, Your Highness," Hiro greets bowing before looking at Phoenix nervously. "Hello, Phoenix."
"Hello, Hiro," Phoenix replies sounding a bit neutral to him, before looking at Xavier or Aiden with disdain. "Xavier," he said.
"Phoenix," Xavier said, his voice was deep. And there was a kind of tension between them.
Hiro felt a bit helpless about this. Ever since the terrorist attack at the mall, his dear fiance and former friend seem to have formed some type of hatred for one another.
"Ugly Goblin," Phoenix or Lucifer proceeds to insult him.
"Short King," Xavier or Aiden retorts, and then they glare at each other.
As much as Augustus was amused by this behavior this wasn't a proper manner to guests. So he said, "Phoenix, that isn't how we greet our guests."
Lucifer growls lowly. "Welcome to our humble abode, esteemed guests. We do not have anything to service you with today if you don't mind. However, you do have a choice to take a seat or stand around, whichever you prefer." he said in a polite voice, before glancing at Augustus who just shook his head.
"What?"
Hiro sat down while Xavier stood next to him protectively.
"Relax, soldier boy, no one's going to take your precious away from you," Lucifer said mockingly. But Aiden knew better than to trust him.
"Xavier," Hiro said, in a scolding voice. He reluctantly sits down.
"Tell Rosetta to prepare some refreshments," Augustus said to one of the servants, who bowed at his commands before leaving.
"So why did you come here for a visit all of a sudden?" Augustus asked facing their guests.
"We wanted to see Phoenix," Hiro said.
Lucifer, who was looking at his holopad while waiting for the snacks to arrive, heard his counterpart's name and looked up. "Hm?"
"Phoenix," Hiro said. "I'm hoping that we can be friends again like we used to..."
Before Hiro could finish, Lucifer interrupts. "No," he said. He knew that Hiro wanted to be friends again, but, there were two reasons why he wasn't going to be close to Hiro as he wished.
One, Phoenix's revenge, and two, he just disdains his fiance, who is the man who killed him in the most embarrassing way ever, If he had died more gracefully, then maybe he would have gladly been friends with Hiro, he looks like a nice boy.
Hiro was severely disappointed by this answer, but he understood, after all, he not only stole his best friend's fiance, but he also practically abandoned their promise and friendship. "However," Phoenix said. "I have a condition for you if you want to regain my trust."
Xavier or Aiden squinted his eyes at him, waiting for what he was about to say. Hiro was waiting, anticipating what Phoenix might say.
"You have to serve me like a servant for a week," Lucifer declared, This surprised everyone present.
"What no!"
Augustus shook his head disapprovingly at Lucifer, but he was ignored. Lucifer looks at Hiro expecting him to outright refuse and try to look for an alternative.
"I'll do it," Hiro replies fiercely, his voice was not wavering a bit. This surprised everyone.
"No," Aiden said. If his darling does this, then who knows what Lucifer would do. He imagined Hiro wearing an ancient slavery outfit and feeding fruit to a greedy-looking Lucifer.
Lucifer was stunned by Hiro's reply. Where was this type of selflessness when he was not a Demon King? He was expecting some kind of refusal.
When he hears the Hero Aiden's refusal he smiles evilly and mentally rubs his hands together.
"He already agreed," he said to Aiden. "What right do you have to interfere with his decision, Xavier."
