It's been three days, and Aiden was increasingly getting worried about Hiro. Every time they met, Hiro looked very miserable, and whenever he asked about it, he always replied with: "I don't want to talk about it," and, "It's fine."
When he couldn't take it anymore, he went straight to Lucifer when he heard Hiro had returned home to make a deal with him.
"That is a stupid idea," Augustus said when Aiden got to his house and told him what he was planning on doing.
"I know, but I don't want to see Hiro being miserably every time he returns from spending a day with..." Aiden explained before Lucifer walked into the living room. "... him," he said with enough venom to kill a thousand men.
"Hello," Lucifer said in an overly cheerful voice. "How's my little servant?"
Aiden sneered. "I want to make a deal with you," he said.
Lucifer lazily slid to the sofa and laid down on it blinking lazily. "What is it?"
Augustus shook his head and clicked his tongue. This person is a fool. He couldn't tell he's been played right into a trap.
Sure Hiro has been coming over for the past three days to be Phoenix's 'servant', but reality is so much more different from expectations because from what he's seen Lucifer and Hiro get along quite well.
It even got him jealous. And every time Hiro was about to go home Lucifer would tell him to act miserable and depressed when he returned to his fiance. He was reluctant to do so, but with a few persuading he did so.
And from today's visit, it seems like it worked.
'If I were him, I would have planted a micro camera, captured all of this, and black-mailed him.' Augustus thought blankly.
"We'll battle and if I win you have to release Hiro," Aiden said.
Augustus looks at him disapprovingly while Lucifer stares at him as if he is looking at a fool. "You know you can't win," he said.
"How can you be sure about that?"
Lucifer's face was expressionless as he said blankly, "I still kicked your pathetic ass before the mall incident last week."
Aiden sneered. He remembers that. However, it surely isn't going to be like that this time around. "This time around it is going to be without weapons or abilities."
Lucifer thought of this for a while. No ability or weapons, huh? This might be a great way to freshen up his skills.
"Alright," he said interested in how this might end. "However, if I win..." he said, then pointed to Aiden, "... you will become my underling for the rest of eternity."
"What do you say?"
Aiden wasted no more time before agreeing. Lucifer then spat on his hand and raised it for a handshake. Aiden also did the same, then they shook hands fiercely.
Meanwhile, Augustus and the rest of the servants were immensely interested in this battle.
On the day of the battle, Lucifer invited Hiro to watch the upcoming battle because why wouldn't he? It wouldn't be fair if he didn't do so. He's the reason why this battle is happening.
Hiro was restless over the battle. He knew he shouldn't have allowed Phoenix to talk him into acting miserably in front of Xavier.
He's mostly worried that Xavier would pummel Phoenix, nearly killing him, and his hope for repairing their friendship would be demolished. But he hasn't seen Phoenix in years, so he might be able to defend himself against Xavier.
Also, what is he going to do if either side wins? Augustus told him not to worry about anything. How can he not worry about anything? This is a lot worse than having to hide from the terrorists to avoid being killed.
"I shouldn't have allowed Phoenix to convince me to act miserable," he mumbles to himself rubbing his face.
Augustus glances at Hiro and couldn't help but feel sorry for him. He would help him if he wanted to, after all, Lucifer would listen to him if he told him not to accept the challenge, but where's the point in that.
Everyone wanted to watch this fight. This is the most exciting thing that has ever happened in this household, however, they couldn't watch the battle. They are still servants of the Second Prince of the Baluvian Empire. They can't slack off.
However, this didn't stop them from making bets on who would win, they were present when Xavier and Phoenix made the deal and are excited to see who would win.
"Ah, the things people do for love," a young blonde female servant said dreamily and serval other servants agreed with her.
"I do hope someone would love me the same way Young Master Aiden loves Young Master Hiro."
Aiden and Lucifer stood in the plain white training room, both wearing breathable trouser pants, and a protective vest covering them from their neck down to their waist with black boots.
Lucifer's outfit was black with red streaks while Aiden's was grey with golden streaks. "Wow, this feels very nice against my skin," Lucifer said, punching the air playfully and grinning. It feels very free, a lot more free than the tracksuit he wore during his normal training time.
"Are you two ready?" They both heard Augustus' voice coming from the speakers.
Lucifer became serious and looks at his opponent seriously and nodded, Aiden nodded as well. They were both ready to fight.
