I woke up to get ready for College when I noticed my sister looking at me. I gasped as I got close to the wall. She looks at me worriedly but she gave her back to me. I felt completely confused until I heard loud knocking on the door. I had gotten out of the bed and ran out. My long sleeping gown almost making me trip a few times. It can't be him it is too early.
I poke my head in the corner and noticed my parents afraid of the man that had waltz into our home. Two more men had entered and behind them was a really scary male. I didn't see him at all. I forgot his name already and I think he told me right? I don't think so. If it is who I think it he must be the father that the neighbor had told me about.
So that must be Joseph the Heart Ripper. The rest with him must be his bodyguards. I swallowed hard as one of those men stood by mom while dad was pulled away by the big man. His arm wrapped around him like a snake slowly wrapping itself around its prey. It is terrifying. I looked at them as I noticed one of the men brushing mom's hair with his hand.
My whole body tensed up as all I wanted to do was defend my mother but that man looks very much that he would break me in half. I did as I can ever do. Watch and Listen. I must watch and listen to everything. I can't just go and check on my sisters. I know I must but my parents may need me as an eye witness.
I felt a gentle presence behind me and I turn to look and it was my little sister. She had her eyes wide open her mouth opening and I basically slap my hand on her mouth just for in case. I denied my head as I stared back at the group. Another male had entered and I know that his name is Tyler. Behind him is our lovely neighbor Kyle. Is he here to finish his end of the bargain? My sister's body tenses up strongly and I noticed my other sister. The second oldest. The middle sister. I nod to her as I pushed our youngest to her.
They weren't speaking yet so I moved while moving her. The middle sister places her hand as our youngest sister starts crying. I sighed out and just looked at her.
"Take her... Hide just in case..." I whispered out
"What about you?" She whispered in return
"If anything happens... I will distract them enough for you guys to escape" I whispered as I start pushing them away
"W-"
"Go..." I whispered yelled at them
Both are in shock but she did as told and dragged the smallest of us into our created hiding spot with escape hatch. I go down on my knees as I spy a bit more. My eyes would linger to Kyle time to time and so I felt weird. I clenched my night gown as I knew that if the trade was correct. I will have to do my damn best to love a monster. It hurts deep down but I would do anything for my family. I am not a good fighter but I will do my best to defend my sister's. Mom and Dad are to close to them if I do anything they will kill them without a second thought. I heard the gentle clearing of throat and I stared at the scary older man.
He looks well built and each scar shows a story. He has been in many fights. Many battles. In which if he is standing here alive and proud then he has been the victor of each fight. I swallowed hard and I just hope my agility does fail me when things go south.
"Mr and Miss... Black... I came here today to give you great news!" The man spoke his voice is so groggy and rasp
Sounds ugly but terrifying if alone at night but my father spoke "W-What do you m-m-mean sir?"
The way father is shaking in fear I knew well that this man is not to be reckon with but he spoke again "My son here has spoken to me... Something great! Something I have always wished for!"
"What would that be?" I whispered so lowly
"What does it have to do with us and our family sir?" Mother asked confused and terrified
"I am getting there..." The man says as he pushes Kyle forward and speaks again "He has shown me that your debt has been paid off a while back know and he is getting married so I need to distract myself with more important things while we prepare"
I could see the relief my parents had shown but I felt my heart geeze at the declaration of marriage "Congratulations sir..."
"I hope you guys assist the wedding..." Kyle responds with a gentle smirk
"Us? But why?" Father asked confused
"Your daughter didn't tell you?" The scary man spoke
"No... We... We have been working so much that we haven't seen them correctly" mother says sadly
My heart tore at the next words that came out of that man's mouth "Your oldest and my son are getting married..."
"I came here today to properly propose to her..." Kyle says something shine in his eyes
"But... But... We can't let you have our daughter... She... She needs to finish college first... Have a better life" Mom complains a bit
The man looks a bit mad but he then stared at father as he spoke as well "She can't marry she is still young... She has so much ahead of her... Did you brain wash her? Did you point a gun at her? Did you harass her?"
I stood and I quickly spoke "Mom Dad stop... Kyle and I spoke... They didn't do anything"
Mom and Dad look at me as I walked towards them. I could see the pain in their eyes. They knew what I have done. They know. Even if these men lie about the situation or Kyle lied to them. I chose this path. I chose to love this criminal in exchange of my family's protection. My parents are completely shocked at me as they didn't know what else to do but to stay quiet.
So I spoke as bravely as I could "I am of legal age to marry... I accept this no matter the consequences!"
The man looks at me with confused eyes but Kyle walks towards me with a ring in hands. It was such a beautiful ring. Very expensive. I don't want it but I chose my destiny.

I gasped awake as I glanced around. The sound of peeping noises kept ringing in my ears and it was really annoying. I was in a weird room. I haven't seen this before. The door opens to a man in a lab coat talking with someone. I rub my eyes as my vision blurred for a bit. When everything is clear I see the doctor walk towards me with a gentle smile. Is he a doctor? I tilt my head but it hurts like crazy.
"Calm down Miss Kira... You sustained some injuries nothing life threatening but still it will hurt for a bit..." he explains gently
"Where am I?" I asked confused
"Your in the medical wing... The east of the fifth floor in the pack house" he tells me as he looks at the monitors
"Pack House?" I felt confused with those words
"Yeah... It's something we use to keep with the whole wolf tradition as this is a rescue!" he says a bit awkward
I accept but I asked worriedly "How is Sarah? Scarlet?"
"Your friend is ok... Just in panic... Sarah is alright now... Her syndrome had kicked in at the right moment..." the man says gently
"Syndrome?" I asked curiously
"Her condition is called vasovagal syncope. Vasovagal syncope happens when the part of your nervous system that controls your heart rate and blood pressure overreacts to an emotional trigger... That's why she faints it usually lasts a few seconds or minutes never days" he explains to me gently
"Oh I never knew..." I say worriedly
The man places the stethoscope on my chest as he looks at his watch "Well she opened up to her condition three years ago when it had gotten worse..."
"Oh my... But it doesn't harm her correct?" I asked worried
"Relax Miss Kira... It's not life threatening... She will be alright... She is prohibited in doing certain things that could endanger her if her condition worsens" he explains gently
He checks my eyes and I say "How long was I out?"
"Two days... The head injury was grave but the loss of blood made you pass out..." he explains as he finishes up
"Really? I don't remember much of what happened..." I say confused
"Luke will explain later... For now by tomorrow you are able to walk around calmly but for now stay rested until your muscles are more awake" he tells me gently
"Ok... Thank you" I say a bit down
