My plate was placed in front of me by Oliver. I have seen him a few times. He always looks serious but today he had a big smile. I thanked him for bringing my food and he blushed darkly. It was really cute. But why did he blush? Did I say something or do something? I looked down and saw the thickest sandwich I have ever seen. I noticed bacon. Vegetables. Ham. Cheddar cheese and mozzarella cheese. I noticed other meats in here also but I can't remember the names at the moment. I saw a omelets in side of the sandwich also. I had a bit of a scrambled egg with bacon on the side.
Oliver came back with a small bowl with a fruit salad in it. I felt excited for the fruit salad so I thanked him with a giant smile. I used the small fork to get a melon. Humming in joy. I moved side to side. Sarah and Scarlet had gone to do some shopping. I said no. I don't want to go out. I know when I finish eating I am going to explore this place.
"Is there anything specific you would like to drink?" Oliver asked
I swallowed my watermelon and I say gently "Oh don't worry I go get it..."
"No its ok... What would you like?" he asked again with a smile
"Strawberry Kiwi..." I say with a grape in my grasp
He laughs a bit and walks away. It made me feels welcomed again. How come I feel this way? Why are these people doing this things? I am not their family yet. I am not even working with them. I haven't even moved into one of the huts Luke has in this property. It took me a little bit but I ate everything quickly as I was really hungry. He gives me my drink and I thanked him. I think this is freshly made as it has a little bit of crushed seeds. I did a low squeal as I felt excited for it. He walks away as I heard someone call his name. Someone came and grabbed my empty plates I thanked them but I was about to take it to the dishwasher or wash them by hand.
I drank my drink and then headed to the kitchen to clean my cup but the elderly woman grabbed the cup from my hands before I even took one step in the kitchen. Then she pushed me out saying she will clean it and for me to do what I want explore or if I wanted more to eat. If I was hungry again to leave her a note because she is usually in the kitchen. I accepted her words as she must be the owner of the kitchen. Even if this is Luke's home it seems that this lady basically cleans and cooks the kitchen so its basically hers in the end.
I walked outside and noticed a man walking towards an angry Ashton. Both guards following the man and they didn't look really happy. He looks at me up and down and just smirks. Disgusting I hate it. I placed my hand in my pocket as I kept walking away. Heading towards the garden. Men are disgusting sometimes. But not the men from this place. It was weird but all of them are very funny and respectful. Well at least the ones I met. That guy already made me feel angry just by staring at him. I looked at my phone as I felt it vibrate in my hand.
I looked at it and noticed that it was Sarah. I smiled and looked at the messages. She notified me she was on her way back as she got what she needed. That was fast. Or did I eat really slow? Oliver runs pass me towards the entrance of the place. Maybe to wait on Sarah and Scarlet. I should go get something to drink before they arrive. I turn around and noticed Ashton annoyed taking a few steps back. I had a quite distance from him so I just walked back.
Maybe Ashton knows where I can locate the fruit area of the Garden. I jogged a bit and when I took a corner I noticed Luke. He did not look happy. The man looked really excited but his excitement was slowly falling. I took a few steps slowly as I didn't want to interrupt anything but I was in ear shot of their conversation.
"No... I just have one rule... Make an appointment so I know you are arriving..." I hear Luke respond and I just looked at him
The man scowls a bit as he looks at Luke he had the most fake smile ever he looks so ugly the scowl smile mix not helping at all "So the rumor around in the packs of you avoiding your Alpha duties are lies?"
"Well of course... I do maintenance in the pack borders every morning and then I check the pack members assist what I can and then head to a reunion in the city as I am a CEO of multiple businesses and factories and when I return from the reunions I check the gardens and the younger wolves studies and check on the Pack's Food Supply" Luke explains gently they must be talking about the packs of wolves they both have so they are both owners of a Sanctuary
The guys face gets into an ugly expression of a scowl and he speaks again in an annoyed tone his voice is so nasty to hear disgusting "What about the paper work? Yearly deaths? Yearly pregnancies? Pups born?"
"I won't be sharing that with you... I report all my yearly information to the King Alpha" Luke tells him smirking 'You go Luke you don't own anybody anything!'
He scoffs this time but he smiled again it infuriated me so I walked to them as he spoke "I heard you have no Luna... You are suppose to have a wife by now"
This guy is so full of himself and so I spoke while wrapping my arm around Luke's waist it felt so good to wrap my arm around him "We haven't formally married yet but he has already has someone..."
"Y-Yeah... Her ring is being custom made right now" Luke followed my lie but he had stuttered a little
I hear the muffled laugh and I knew it was Ashton I looked at Ashton as he looks away that jerk "So this must be your soon to be wife... She seems normal"
His words were a bit harsh this time so I speak very angry as I stared at his eyes "Of course I am normal... I am human what did you expect him to have as a girlfriend or wife?"
"I don't know... Higher ranking? A wolf? Something more than normal?" High ranking wolf? Is he serious? Do they take the nicknames of packs to human life seriously?
"Well boo hoo if he loves me and I love him its our problem not yours" This is starting to anger me so much this man is annoying what does he think this is
"It is basically my business as it will get everyone in danger... You are weak and useless to him" He tells me with a bit of attitude I can hear it in his tone
"It is not your problem... This is my land not yours" Luke snaps in anger adorable he defends me in a way that feels really good
Ashton stands by Luke but his hand is in his phone for incase as this man is started being hostile "That's completely true... Not your land so I want you to leave..."
"What if I don't want to leave?" he says with a dark smirk
"I will make you!" I say pissed off I'll call the police
"I want to see you try..." he says while laughing hysterically
I dialed 911 and called someone answered quickly so I say "Hello... My name is Kira and I have a man here trespassing in my land... He is not leaving can you guys come and escort him out..."
"What the hell are you doing?" this man snaps at me
He grabs my arm pulling me away from Luke and I felt pissed off but the way he grabs my arm is hurts so I scream a bit in pain. My instinct is to kick him in the balls I dropped my phone by accident. He holds me tighter as he looks really angry. But I see a fist pass by me. He falls back groaning in pain. I hear the 911 operator speaking in the background. I hear growling at a distance. Wolves? Are they near by? I rubbed my arm as it was hurting me a bit.
I hear the rustling of bags dropping to the floor and I looked to the side. I noticed Sarah she arrive from her shopping but all the bags were on the floor. Rage evident. Scarlet is knocked out Oliver holding her unconscious body. What happened Scarlet? Is she ok? My ass aches a bit I fell hard on my ass. I looked back at my arm as it started getting a bit red and his hand print was forming.
I felt someone close and I looked to see Luke wanting to help me up. I glanced to the side and noticed Ashton recording maybe for evidence if this guy did something stupid. But Ashton had a death grip on his phone and it looked like it was about to be broken in pieces. The guys stands up again ready to fight me I suppose never met a man who would fight a woman but I fully ready to beat his ass.
So I stood up quickly and punched him again I need to give him a punch of my own because I do not like men touching without my consent even if its a grab my arm. He stumbles back and I can see the rage in his eyes. I heard howling in the background and for some reason I felt like they were angry howls. I have heard of different howls through YouTube as in the past I loved sleeping with the sounds of wolves. But I can feel the rage in them but I just stared at the man as he looks very pissed of.
"Is this a sign of war?" he says really pissed off and I just stared at him pissed off 'War?'
"No... But we will defend our own!" Ashton snaps as he looked at the man
"Ashton I need you to get Kira and her friend inside" Luke orders Ashton and I looked at Ashton
"Yes Sir..." Ashton says as he places his phone down
I picked up my phone as I just glares at the man as I felt so much anger towards him. The man kept his eyes on me also and it was so annoying. It made me angry and I just watched him I want to beat his ass. Ashton follows me basically leading me to the inside of the building. Sarah storms in with all the bags in her hands. She huffed in anger she was spacing back and forth. Oliver walked in Scarlet in his arms but he walked towards the elevator. I stared at my fainted friend as I didn't know what happened. I looked back to Luke as I was worried about him. The moment the doors closed I saw how the man grabs Luke by Luke's shirt in rage. I stood up in rage as I wanted to defend Luke. But Ashton gets in my way.
"Leave them be come... I would get the doctor to check your arm..." Ashton tells me
"But what about Luke?" I asked worriedly
Sarah quickly appears and checks my arm "I saw how he grabbed you how are you feeling!"
I looked at her suddenly forgetting what I asked Ashton and say "It hurts a bit but nothing like what happened last time..."
I started giggling as she was checking my whole arm and body I am ticklish. This woman will be like a sister to me. Something I never had. I felt very much tired and I just needed this for some reason. That man really pissed me of. Wait? I felt my face start to heat up as I remember what I just told in front of that man and what Luke also said in front of that man.
What have I done?
