I just sat there under an umbrella hiding from the sun. The beach empty. So what Luke said is correct. Their King rents this location out and this is what happens. I looked up and noticed the hand full of woman talking and playing inside the water. That handfull are the Alpha's mates. The Luna's. Luke told me there was more than one hundred Alpha's world wide. Why are there barely ten females here? I expected more to be honest but it seems what Lukas says is correct.
Luke did give me a small thin book with the information about mates. The thin books looks like a notebook. It didn't even reach a hundred pages. I read fast but once I started to read that book. I felt such amazement on how this world is. Some mates reject their mate and it is a painful process. Some werewolves die from it and or suicide from the excruciating pain. That is why the one they call the Moon Goddess granted them the rarity of mates. If a person is worthy of a mate then the Goddess selects one for them. But in my case it is even more rare as human mates are basically a one in a million chance.
Meaning I would be like the fourth or fifth to ever exist in this life. Right? I hear a burst of laughter and I looked up as one of the woman had in her hands what seems to be a brah. Behind them was a woman she was covering her chest. So even werewolves have bullies. I wore a two piece bikini as I felt so comfortable and I needed a little of a tan. I've been a bit pale lately. Luckily Ashton got me good sunscreen so I wouldn't get burned easily. I sat on the beach chair to stare at the laughing mess.
Should I intervene? But they are stronger than me how would I intervene if they can knock me out with one punch. I sighed out and I just crossed my arms a bit confused. I felt completely useless at the moment. I wanted to fix everything and just leave. Maybe I should have never come. I thought I was allowed with him in that reunion but seems like what he told me was right. Mate's aren't allowed in there. I thought it was a female thing. But there were female Alpha's in there. Their mates being male obviously were here but not with the females.
Their at a bar drinking and watching sports. Men only think about specific things but seeing as this would be a time for vacation while the responsible ones do their thing. I feel bad in a way. I really wanted to be present and just listen to everything. I want to help in some way. I may not be completely smart in this world but I would love to assist with as much as I can.
I felt something land on my lap and I blinked back into reality. It was the brah I saw earlier. I looked up to the group of girls laughing even more. Is this funny? I grabbed it and just walked to the shocked woman. I presume she is of lower standards than all this woman here. I didn't want to get in the water but seems like I'll have to go in and give this woman her bikini brah back. I passed by the laughing bunch and just handed it to the woman.
"Here..." I say plainly
She looks up to me with big eyes and she snatches it from me. Huffing in annoyance. Some people don't have manners. I looked back at the laughing bunch finally noticing what I had done. They looked confused now. Assuming this goes well I should return back to my chair. I was getting a great tan. I looked at the water as it was clear and I could see my own feet. I don't like the sensation of being swallowed by dirt. My poor feet were already under sand. I turned around and slowly took steps away.
"Your welcome..." I told her as I did my best to walk away
I didn't care for all this but I will learn from it "Yo... Human"
I kept walking ignoring them I was stopped by a hand "We're calling you..."
"Ah... Why?" I asked as I looked forward
I can't escape now and I can't call Ashton or Luke my phone is far away "Why not join us? We'll all have good fun"
I closed my eyes and sighed out while saying "No thanks... I don't like the beach"
Lies. I love the beach but being around people like this I don't like being present in the beach "Aw come join us... Such fragile being should be around the strong beings"
I turned around to stare at her and just looked at her "I said no... Now can I go back to tanning"
"Fine go back to be a whale out of water..." she tells me with a chuckle
I almost chuckled myself as I asked her "Is that the best insult you have?"
They all looked shocked at my response and one smiled "Want an insult... Alright... Yours as big as a pig... You must love eating trash"
I just laughed "This is an insult you skinny ass flat chested surfboard of a dissa-fucking-pointment that needs a good rubbing as I can see some bumps and scrapes from the hair growing on your face and chest"
All in shock. I sounded like a rapper for a moment. I didn't expect that type of insult from me. I sighed out and just walked away. Those girls were looking at their chests. I have noticed that. A lot of 'she-wolves' have well built bodies. Model type. But all flat. Their cup size must be below C. Man their like fried eggs. Didn't even have an ass. So literally a surfboard. Insults are for those who are weak minded. I am so use to insults all I could do is laugh at them. Once you see how people are and how their personalities make them see. I just knew right away what will make her think.
But in the end the rest was also thinking about it as it is so weird how their all silent looking at their body. I never cared for my body but being that skinny? No thank you. I prefer to have some amount of meat in my bones. Needing meat in my bones am starting to get hungry. I should call Ashton to see if he knows anywhere I could go to eat something. I haven't eaten. Was too excited to explore. I know Luke hasn't eaten either but Ashton assured me that food is provided for them.
I still worry in the end but I need to eat before Lukas has a fit of worriedness. I want to see Luke's wolf. It must be beautiful. I wanna see everyone's wolf form. It must be gorgeous. I reached my chair and I saw my bag and so I grabbed the towel to make sure my hands are dried.
I grabbed my phone and dialed Ashton's number. I looked back at the woman who were talking to each other and giggling. They added the other woman now to their gossip group and I just didn't care. I know I will be completely left out in all this but I don't care in the end. I have Sarah and Scarlet with me. Well as long as that boy named Jey doesn't take her to so many places from me. I am still curious if Jey is a werewolf or something else. Or just human like me and the whole love at first sight is an actual thing. Love at first sight is rare but it seems it is real. Would they be happy together? They barely met each other. Just like Luke and I. It's going to be what two months? Three? I don't remember correctly. I lost track of time. I should ask Scarlet later. She might remember when I first saw Luke.
"Hello?" I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard Ashton
"Hey Ashton..." I speak gently
"Oh Luna... I didn't recognize the number are you alright?" he asked worriedly
"Yes I am alright... Ju-Just hungry" I responded a bit awkward
I hear a chuckle and it made me feel a bit embarrassed "I'll be there in ten minutes... Get your things we can't leave anything... You never know what will happen"
I looked back and the laughing bunch as they chased each other in the water "Agreed..."
They might try something. Sarah warned me that a lot of females who have high profiles can be a bit snoopy even if I have nothing on me. They'll still annoy; gossip and mess around with my belongings. That happened to me once and that is called High School. I am glad I am out of that nightmare hole. Ashton hangs up and so I placed my phone back in my purse and started getting my clothing inside the backpack. My stomach grumbled lowly and I just grabbed the bottle of water I brought.
I should have eaten when I had the chance.
