"I can get out myself," I said
"You're not gonna let me help you, are you?" He asked
"No, no I am not," I said confidently
"Fine, but I will still be here if you need me..." He said in an expecting tone
I didn't need him, after all, he was the reason I was kidnapped in the first place. He was so hot but I knew he wasn't for me. We walked upstairs where I saw Adam and Denis knocked out on the floor "Don't worry, they aren't dead just... I just told them to take a nap." Alan said smirking at me as I ignored him, after we got out of that house I started walking home.
"My car is right here Shea..." he said
"I know, I don't need you." I reminded him
"I want to take you somewhere...Show you something..." Alan said opening the door
"fine..." I said walking back to the car and getting in.
We drove to what appeared to be an abandoned farm, Alan stopped by the barn that had paint peeling off and every metal piece on it was rusted, "Here?" I ask "Wow, a great place to take a girl...Wait you aren't gonna eat me are you?" He never answered which made me nervous "I can hear your breathing, calm down," he said right he's a vampire, I read about them apparently they eat people, have superpowers such as; vamp speed, vamp hearing, some have personal powers, compulsion, and then there's always the emotion flip... but what do I know. Alan stopped in front of me and turned to face me while we were by the open loft door under the rising moon,
"Do I make you nervous?" Alan asked
"Not really, why?" I asked
"Do I scare you with you knowing what I am?" He asks
"No, Alan what's going on?" I answer getting scared
"Just answer truthfully... ok?" he said

"Do you think you should be scared?" he asks
"No..." I say
"All these answers are wrong, you should be scared, I'm a goddamn monster, Shea!" He said punching the wall while I step back "see I do scare you..." he said
"N- no Alan stop, just... stop," I said
"I can't, I'm programmed to be like this" Alan said coming closer to me, his eyes ask black as the night sky missing stars with no moon
"Alan... your eyes?" I said
"They are gold when I'm relaxed, red when I'm angry or protecting someone, and black when I want to sink my teeth in someone's neck!" he yelled backing away and turning away from me
"You can resist it, I know you can," I said stepping closer to him and putting my hand on his shoulder
"I can run away, but it will never change who I am. I bring too much danger to you" he said turning back around "You were kidnapped for god's sake Shea" he said
"Well you saved me, that's all that matters now, Alan..." I said getting closer to him "Maybe meeting you was a blessing, maybe it was a curse... But it doesn't matter because either way, I met you!" I said getting inches from his face
"We weren't supposed to meet," Alan said
