"Shea..." He paused before looking at me "I'm a monster, in the end, I will have killed you or changed you and I don't wish either."
"So don't" I responded quickly, "Why don't we say here for tonight and we can leave tomorrow it is already sunset..." I said
"Good point, ok" He replied
He knew where blankets were, they were dusty and torn but I didn't mind, I had Alan. We started making separate "beds" on the floor in the loft and I huddled under the blanket, Alan sat over on his side and just looked at me without speaking, I found it creepy but I knew he wouldn't do anything so I fell asleep.
After about 1 hour I woke up shivering when I woke up it was extremely dark so I grabbed my phone and turned on the flashlight when I pointed it over to where Alan was, he wasn't there so I grabbed the blanket and prayed he was ok. I was shivering for what seemed like forever when Alan walked back up the loft stairs and saw that I was awake,
"Hey." He said
"H-h-h-hey-y." I shivered
"You're cold!" He said in a panicked tone
"I-I'll be f-f-ine," I said
"Shea, come here," he said picking me up and carrying me and all my stuff to his side and setting me down
He laid down next to me as I wrapped my arm around his torso, the movies and books I've ever read about vampires make it sound like his skin should be cold, but he wasn't, he was warm, like really really warm. The next morning we were woken up by a squeaky voice, similar to the one I heard in the hall that day... Kimberly was it? sure as hell when I woke up Kimberly was standing over me and Alan
"Alan!" Kimberly said while Alan finally woke up
"Wha- Kimberly!?" he said sounding surprised
"Wait, you know each other?" I questioned
"Ya- she's my sister..." he said
"Is she a..." I said
"No, only me, I was changed she stayed the same, although she has supernatural powers of her own..." Alan said
"I'm a witch, that is also how I found you, I did a location spell on my brother and found BOTH of you... You want to explain?" Kimberly said in a protective/territorial tone
"She got cold last night and I don't sleep..."Alan said
"O...K.. well we are going to be late if you don't vamp-speed us to at least the forest outside the school..." Kimberly said as of telling him "leave the girl" or "we can't take her too"
"Ok, come here," he said picking me up with one hand and her with the other
Next thing I knew we were in the forest and walking to the school. When we got through the doors we walked to our lockers, all of ours were next to each other so I found it nice. I grabbed my books and walked to math, Kimberly had to go to History but I and Alan were fine together.
"You have a sister?" I whispered over to Alan
"Yes," Alan replies.
