About an hour later I felt fine like nothing happened, I could hear doctors talking outside saying "How is this possible, she shouldn't even be alive, let alone fine within a day!" and "There has to be something supernatural going on with her." either way, I agree, but how do I prove it without exposing my boyfriend? That's a question I will never be able to answer. Later I was released, apparently, after my parents left the room they decided they couldn't be around me, so they left, again... After I was released I went back home to my apartment and threw myself onto my couch, contemplating how I was going to find Alan, the idea of going to that little cabin outside the town border popped up, what if he was just at home with his family, so just like that, I was driving to Alan's house trying to figure out what to say to him.
I took a few minutes to get there because I lived on the opposite side, in town, but when I got there I took a second to myself and took a breath, I was ready to see Alan, I got out of my car and walked up to the door, I knocked, no response, I knocked again when a tall strong man opened the door, he was almost too big for the cabin,
"Who are you?" he scolded,
"Sh- S- Shea" I finally said when a familiar voice yelled,
"Get out Shea, turn around and leave, please!" It was Alan
"Alan? Are you ok?" I asked because he sounded frantic and in danger
"I'm a vampire, you're human, you're fragile, leave now!" he said again
"Ok, enough chit-chat, I'm hungry, don't feel like eating vampire, so I think this human will do, what do you say Alan?" the man in the doorway said
"Touch her and I'll kill you myself!" Alan grunted "Just come back and get this stake out of my stomach, please?" Alan said
"She doesn't know... Does she?" he said looking into my eyes
"Know what Rafael?" Alan said
"What I am..." The man said grabbing my arm and throwing me next to Alan on the ground
"She doesn't even know your kind exists..." Alan said daringly, he had blood everywhere and a wooden stake in his stomach
"What kind?" I asked, dreading the answer
"Hybrids, how little did you tell her? Does she know about the witches, werewolves, or the specials?" he asks
"Witches, yes" Alan paused and pulled the stake out and let out a painful sigh "werewolves and specials, no" he finished
"well she's gonna learn," Rafael said sitting down "You're gonna learn..."
