Emily's POV
"How are you feeling, are you okay?" Nathan asked with obvious concern as he approached the curly-haired girl and kissed her cheek. "Do you need anything?"
Amelia smiles shyly and shakes her head slightly. She pats Nathan's chest and thanks him for his kind gesture and invites us back to the table, without another word we return to the main room.
To Amelia's good fortune neither Harry nor his parents asked many questions about the incident, so we were able to continue our dinner without further mishaps or hints. What was noticeable from miles away, however, was that Amelia was even angry with Harry as the man had tried on several occasions to put his hand on her knee, but without any subtlety had been rejected on more than one occasion.
Once we finished dessert, the evening finally came to an end. We all got up from the table and going one after the other, we made our way to the front door.
