Emily's POV
We hadn't even reached a week and already the situation was more than irritating.
I tuck my jeans over my butt and take one last look at my dresser before grabbing my bag and heading off to college before my first class. Once I emerge from my recurring lair, I find Nathan well dressed in a coat perfect for the weather these days in London.
I ponder for a strange time what to say until the words finally slip into my mouth. "Good morning."
My voice disturbs him and pulls him out of the mental lagoon his phone has him immersed in. He smiles sideways in a subtle way without showing his teeth and reciprocates my greeting in a very shy way. "Good morning."
Trying not to close the distance between us too much, I walk to the kitchen and pour myself a bowl of cereal. From eating chocolate flakes all these days I must have had my blood sugar at freakish levels, but until we talked about the shopping I preferred not to make many conversations with the brown-haired man.
