Emily's POV
"Have you seen who's teaching this class, have you?" Asks Blake, instilling terror in me with his question, as he pulled a notebook out of his backpack.
"Who?" I hadn't paid much attention to the task of organizing the schedule and for me, the teacher needed to be someone easy to get along with, as that made the mission of learning somewhat more bearable, therefore my grade would be higher and my scholarship would not be at risk.
That's why his question told me I should have paid more attention, it gave me a bad feeling.
"Murphy, Eden Murphy" He answers, making the blood in my head clot.
Eden Murphy was that teacher everyone was afraid of. You heard terrible things about Eden, like how she didn't like to give a perfect grade, she didn't take questions very well in class and if you didn't follow her lead the whole day, you'd have a hard time passing any subject with that woman.
