Emily's POV
Harry nods without dropping the macabre smile. He stretches his body a little and reaches for the glass of wine on the table, takes a sip, and after a few short seconds of silence again fires off another question I wasn't prepared for.
"How did such a lovely young lady like you get entangled with someone like my brother?" He points with his glass at Nathan, and without much importance, he speaks addressing him: "No offense kiddo."
"No, you don't" Nathan replies to him wrinkling his nose and shrugging his shoulders. He tightens his grip on my waist and after a caress, he says very confidently: "Come on Emi, tell them how charming I am."
Even though that had come out mockingly through Nathan's mouth, he knew that deep down the real purpose of this whole lie was to make him look good in front of his family, so whatever he answered had to sound convincing enough to clean up his image a bit in front of his demanding family.
