Felix
It's been a couple days since his near death fight with the boars and wolves, Rex has been more focused on training his body as much as possible. He says getting any and all free stat points will be helpful. Completely understandable, I've been more focused on experimenting with magic and defensive magic. I joined him on training my body but I focused more on the dexterity workout. It's best to be a master of one rather than know many.
Our main base is also coming along, after getting the hide off the boars and cutting down some more trees we were able to craft actual beds. It's been a delight on our backs. We also made ourselves a fire pit of sorts and have even made some more spike traps. I really need to look into magic that can move the environment. I've also learned from conversations with my system, my magic is more along the space/dark arts. Well dark arts meaning blood magic and necro magic. Pretty interesting actually, but I've also begun feeling like our magic influences us a lot more than the system leads on. Rex's magic is red. After watching him use his magic more and more I've realized it's pretty much blood red and violent. It's like his magic wants to constantly fight against the very air around it. Since coming to this world Rex has slowly become more prone to violence, he wasn't like that before he always seemed to control himself. Afraid I'd even say what his emotions would lead him to do. My own magic is influencing me as well. I've looked at life with a calculating wonder-like view most of my life, yet now I've caught myself looking at it with more of an indifference.
This world is actively changing us or as Rex would say "our bodies are prone to adapt in situations, especially when we ourselves feel threatened. It's humanity's greatest weapon against nature." He has a weird wisdom. We have determined we need to hold on to ourselves so we don't become some sort of monsters.
I've also messed around with the minimap seeing what is around us and even figuring out we could search for certain things. At least we can search for them if we've encountered them. It's quite interesting honestly. I've also increased my wisdom stat with how often I've used up all of my mana and trying to experiment with my magic. (stats)

Training our stats is really taking us far, but it is becoming slower and slower. Rex is starting to do training that has led me into having to heal him by the end of it. He's begun placing boulders that are around the cave entrance, about five feet tall and six feet wide, carrying it as he jogs across the sand or doing pushups with it on his back. I've had to help him push a border off his back more times than I care to admit. Him and I have gone on more expeditions into the plains this time not fighting anything so we can gain information.
I've found some of the flowers needed to craft some minor healing and mana potions. They aren't as rare as I was expecting but I'm assuming the higher tier potions are gonna be far more difficult to gather. I've learned gathering the ingredients actually helps in leveling the skill itself. Barely but it does start stacking up when you gather a bit below a hundred flowers. Mind you it takes around twenty of these flowers to create a single potion and I don't even have a bottle to put the mixture into. So until we get a bottle we have no potions. What I can do though is make a giant stockpile of them.
My current project is learning a magic based attack that isn't so expensive to use. I Haven't made any achievements in that, but my mana control is growing to an amazing degree.
