Felix
So far so good, at least there aren't any traps so far. Rex is waiting for me to get into position just in case there's more guards close to the other side of the door. I nod towards Rex and he opens up the door, no immediate threats but the cave has torches it seems. We move inwards with Rex leading, he's more focused on close range targets while I watch our surroundings making sure none of the gray ones surprise us. As we move further into the cave it opens up into a cavern, I'm not sure I have enough arrows for what's about to go down. We've traveled probably a hundred feet in here and the opening is definitely at least five hundred feet wide and probably two hundred long. Goblins are everywhere children and adults.
Blue goblin adults are showing their children, oh crap, that's magic. Green are having their kids fight each other, the gray ones are just lurking where they can try to…scare? Other goblin kids. There's two golden adult goblins towards the end of the cavern watching the rest of them train. There's red goblins around them like a royal guard of sorts.
I motion to Rex to back up a bit. "So, that's a lot more than expected-" I began. He cut me off " there's about eight adult blue, twelve adult red, twenty green, and forty gray goblins. About twice as many children. The two golden ones are obviously the leaders of them. Though the interesting thing here is there's no other exit, they have to go through our location to leave." I just kinda look at him for a second "sorry bout interrupting you, I was able to count them fast" lets just bookmark that info for a bit. "Want to just create a cave-in so we don't have to risk our lives?" Rex just looks back towards the cavern then nods his head. "Yeah lets go with the safer option, think you have enough control over your mana to cause it?" Rex asked a pretty good question (stats)

I might be able to cause it actually, I sit back and gather the mana to fire a blast of concentrated mana towards one of the cavern pillars. As I gather the mana I hear movement heading towards us. " focus on gathering your mana. I'll give you the time that you need." I just nod my head, and continue gathering mana as I hear the ripping of skin and thuds of bodies landing on the ground. I fire the blask of mana towards the pillar and this is when I see scratch marks on Rex's body but about twelve goblin bodies lay around him. I look towards where I aimed at and see the cave descending, just as we see the cave-in begin me and Rex sprint for the entrance. Throws the entrance door open and just as I pass through he slams the door shut while blocking the door with his body. As the cave entrance shows signs of falling down as well, he gathers his red like mana into his legs and jumps out of the danger zone.
Quest complete "clever move, kinda wished you went in and went on a blood craze but eh good job"
Reward: pick between these passive skills (weapon crafting, armor crafting, potion brewing, cooking)
"Mind you the way you've accomplished this quest means we will be taking away the experience you would have gained from the goblins that died from the cave-in"
Fair sucks, but fair. As Rex and I meet back up I see just how bad one of the scratches are, tore his shirt clean off while leaving a slash across his chest. Gonna have to patch that up while we head back to our base. Just as that thought went through my mind, Rex takes out a piece of the boar meat and continues to just start devouring it. " You absolute idiot" was all I could say before a roar could be heard. Just as the roar ended all Rex had to say for himself was "eh… it stopped the bleeding" followed quickly by us sprinting only for the ground to shake as whatever it was behind us chased after us.
